Wonderful friendly service. We had a toasted sandwich, the steak was so tender. Definitely go back to try their evening menu. Indoor seating only.

Visited last night for the first time and not disappointed. Wonderful ambience helped by the subdued yet efficient lighting and soft music. Staff attentive but not annoyingly so. Helpful and friendly. We shared pork belly bites in honey (to die for), ciabatta with cheese and red onion. Then I had king prawn and chorizo linguine. Indescribably good, had to stop myself licking the plate! Then to finish had the lightest yet yummiest sticky toffee pudding. All washed down with cocktails. Definitely recommend this place. Amazing food, great staff and value for money

Mediocre at best I'm afraid. My wife and I went at lunchtime. First of all the drinks...I asked for cider as did another table, apparently and they had none. Wine OK but pricey. Starters...mushrooms. These did not appear to be from fresh ingredients that lunchtime. Mains...steak for me. This was tough but eatable. Wedges/chips were not nice and again didn't seem fresh. My wife had a burger, this was OK. Staff...friendly and polite.

We ate at the Olive Tree before a gig in New Brighton and were struggling to find somewhere, having previously tried other eateries and not been too impressed. We got a good reception from the staff and there was a nice atmosphere, friendly and pretty chilled - We were able to take our time and chat in a relaxed manner. We had the red snapper fish ( special) and linguine. The food was really good and there were generous portions. The wine was good too.The staff were helpful and attentive. It was a great stop for a pre theatre meal and we'd definitely go back.

Ate here last night to try it ahead of a potential booking for a private function. The atmosphere was lovely and very ambient. The food was nice but not great and a little overpriced because of this. The staff were amazingly friendly but this caused an issue when we wanted to leave. The staff were being very attentive and chatty with 2 customers but, unfortunately, this was to the detriment of the other customers who struggled to attracts the staff's attention. Keep being as friendly but also keep your eyes on the room.

Celebrated a family birthday at The Olive Tree on a saturday evening. Run by a lovely family who make you feel at home straight away. Excellent service and amazing food. Had the the squid starter a large portion and delicious. Pork medalians main, came with mash, black pudding and gravy, yum yum, very filling. The courses came out hot and with sufficent time inbetween. Higly recommend and will definetly return.

Food was expensive , burnt and rubbish. Worst place I've been. Only gluten free option was a burger or haloumi burger without chips. Service was slow. £36 for 2 burgers and 2 cups of tea. Outrageous.

Absolutely a gem of a place to dine. Food delicious and cooked to perfection. Staff are absolutely brilliant. Nothing too much trouble. Will definitely be going back soon.

Absolutely amazing night at The Olive Tree! The staff is so friendly and accommodating and the food was incredible. I tried the ciabatta with cheese and caramelised onions, the spicy veggie soup, the sea bass for my main and the apple, biscoff and ice cream crumble. Everything was cooked to perfection! I totally recommend and we will be back soon.

My friends and I had a fantastic Sunday roast here a couple of weeks ago, I wanted to leave a review because of the wonderful service. The roasties were cooked to perfection, the vegetables cooked perfectly not too soft not too firm. Without hesitatation I recommend this place. We were in a rush so didn't stop for dessert but I bet that would have been amazing.

Oh my days! I shared the garlic ciabatta with cheese and caramelized onion for starter , absolutely amazing! Then for main sea bass, mashed potato , asparagus and a sauce that was to die for ! Every ingredient was fresh and made fresh to order! . I can't wait to go again, 5 star service 5 star meal ! . Just book and see for yourself 😃
