Cute little cafe tucked away at the end of the prom. Great service and lunch was absolutely brilliant, super tasty. We had the Welsh Rarebit and posh fish finger butty which was a winner. Ordered a side of chips too and they were chunky.. better than chippy chips. Will be visiting again shortly. Highly recommend.

This was a very unassuming and nice stop for breakfast near the waterfront. The wait staff was very friendly and even offered us suggestions. Food was delicious to say the least, especially their scones!

Well what a cafe!! The inside is beautiful- picture of seaside happiness!! The local artwork was beautiful and lovely collection of pottery too! The staff were so helpful and let us have a table even though we hadn't booked (I SUGGEST BOOKING!). The breakfast was on the price side but completely worth it!! Big helping too! The best bit was the little biscuits you get with a hot meal (I would pay for the recipe!!) Overall I suggest a booked trip here for a lovely atmosphere and food

Absolutely love coming here for both breakfast and lunch, the quality of the food is excellent and locally sourced if I'm correct. Really nice atmosphere and staff. Picture below of the chicken wrap, would also recommend the ham egg and chips portion sizes are fabulous and chips also home made!! Would recommend getting a large coffee if youre visiting as the regular one is quite small. Other than this can not fault the place.

Popped in as we wanted to try here. Got a table right next to the counter which was really good. Plenty of room to move around even though it was full. Ordered the Driftwood Club Sandwich and a portion of homemade chips. Sandwich was delicious as where their chips. Had an iced latte then an ordinary coffee, and the wife had a milkshake then a tea as well. Service was spot on and very friendly, and always happy to help you. Must say didn't eat another thing that day as the club was more than sufficient. Go there if you want a great meal at a great price.

Good venue. Food nice. Staff pleasant. Service is slow though. Worth reserving a table in advance as when I popped in, most were reserved meaning I felt somewhat rushed, in order to vacate for the people who booked the table

Sausage egg n chips.. wow, quality thick tasty chips, two perfectly cooked eggs, and sausages were nice and not catering type. Coffee was actually fresh and hot atmosphere background music ok decor a little dated but on the whole. Recommended and will return.

My wife and myself visit this cafe on a regular basis .Amanda is always welcoming and the food is brilliant. The chips are fantastic. And the menu is varied. Also there is a small plate menu for people who can not manage larger meals. Highly recommend give this cafe a try you will not be disappointed

Food is lovely and they do a good coffee. I'm particularly fond on the Welsh rarebit toasty. My wife had the delicious home made quiche. The service is brilliant, the ladies can't do enough to get you seated and served.

First time of visiting this amazing cafe. Welcomed with a warm, friendly greeting and looked after well. Chose a regular and small breakfast. Excellent quality products, cooked to perfection and served hot. Accompanied by latte, again presented well and served hot. The sight of the homemade bakewell tart proved irresistible. This was truly amazing and one of the best desserts that we had ever tasted. Our whole experience at the driftwood couldn't have been better and at such good value for money. You certainly have got it right, the staff, food quality, ambience, value for money and wow factor. Will definitely be back soon even if it is almost 90 mile round trip!. Many thanks.

First time going here and what a hidden little gem it was, would recommend you book a table before hand like we did, because it's only a small place, really clean and tidy, very polite staff,we both had the full English and it was beautiful, all really good ingredients,we polished them both off, would happily recommend a visit if your in the area, they do a lunch time menu as well and all home made cakes, also dog friendly

Love it! Great gluten free food. Best gluten free quiche I've ever had. The pastry was great! Excellent gluten free scones too. The staff were friendly and helpful. And it's dog friendly. They even do sausage for your pooch. You can book a table which is handy as it's only a small cafe.

Twice in 2 days! Can't believe it's taken us so long to try this café. Yesterday we had coffee, today we had breakfast and took home a slice of cake. The staff, the quality of service, food, coffee and overall friendliness is excellent. Not expensive. You've definitely taken over our 1st choice which used to be the Marino Lounge. Thank you girls.

My first visit and certainly won't be my last! Arrived at 12 and we were lucky enough to find a table available. We ate from the lunch menu, I had the quiche of the day which was a cheddar & leek delight accompanied by salad & coleslaw. My husband thoroughly enjoyed his sausage, egg & chips with an added side of beans. All food was hot and tasty. They even had decaffeinated tea which came with a delicious homemade biscuit! Super friendly staff and the ability to pay on card. A must visit for anybody coming to the New Brighton area. You can even call to reserve a table 😋 thanks so much Driftwood for a fantastic lunch!

5 adults and 3 children ate here. We had the two tables at the front pushed together and enjoyed wonderful plates of food including Ham,Sausage, Home made Quiche with all the trimmings washed down with sparkling water, cordials and juices. And we finished off with an excellent large portion of Homemade Jubilee Triffle. The service was very.very good and friendly, I really can recommend this Cafe 👌
