Nice coffee.. maybe try providing a decent bread for your toast. Not a fan of 50/50. Also don't use cheap produce..not all your customers can't spot the difference!

Booked into breakfast at Stollies and it was fantastic. Eight of us staying just up tje Road in an Air B n B so Stollies was ideal. Staff great and very friendly. Food amazing. This is the biggest breakfast they do the Jurassic Breakfast, for £8.50 it's a deal buster. Add a large coffee and breakfast around £10, set us up for the day.

Poor customer service. We arrived to Stollies today and asked for a table for two, we was told there was none available so we asked if we could sit outside and have a drink and wait as we know the food is nice. When we sat outside we seen another couple arrive after us and was seated straight away whilst still waiting to be served for drinks. We asked if they could let us know when a table is available inside whilst a family of three arrived and was seated when we was still waiting. Knowing and checking online we seen you can’t book which made us a bit annoyed but understood as it was busy. We was then seated in the “snook” area in the cafe. We waited 35 minutes to be served but no one came to our table and on the menu it says “please wait at your table to be served”. In the meantime we seen THREE other tables come in and be seated and served. The couple and family that arrived after us had at that point already eaten and left. Furiously I went to the counter to pay for the two drinks we had outside where the man and woman behind the counter knew where we sat the whole time and was still charged for the two drinks and no sense of apology or any incentives for the inconvenience. Me and partner have never felt like this in any food place before and very upset and felt like we was treated differently as there was no other problem with any other customers

Came in this morning and ordered food for takeout. This was after trying to call for an hour and a half to order but no answer. Asked for the Korean chicken burger, member of staff told me it doesn’t exist so showed her it on the cafes website menu, either way they didn’t have it. So asked for the pulled pork burger, not in stock. Asked for the chorizo potatos and egg hash no chorizo in stock. So settled on the smash burger for myself. There were good and points to the food. Chunky chips were lovely, crispy & fluffy! Pancakes were lovely and fluffy although the menu states the childrens pancake comes when chocolate sauce. There was none on my daughters pancake. The biscoff pancakes were tasty but not enough sauce or ice cream for one of the set of pancakes never mind 2. I think if your paying £13 for a adults and child’s pancakes you should be given enough ice cream for the 2. It states on the menu the smash burger comes with 3 patties mine had 2. Coleslaw was warm as had been put in the boxes with hot food. Maybe putting it in tubs seperate might help. Mac and cheese absolute disaster it’s been binned it’s that bland. Personally I don’t get the hype. Maybe eating in may be slightly better but definitely won’t be trying again.

Went for breakfast. I had 2 poached eggs on toast which were super… eggs were perfect. This wasn’t on the menu so it was appreciated them doing them. Thank you. My husband had the breakfast but it wasn’t as good. The egg was solid, toast hard, mushrooms cold, hash brown hard, and bacon was cremated on one side. Coffee was nice and the staff were lovely so bit of a mixed bag here.

Pretty disappointed, quiet time not much people but our meal arrived after 30 mins, staff are not attentive walking around clueless that we have been sitting for over 15mins then she took order. Food is quite okay but coffee not as good as they tried to picture, one time passing the area and tried once, that’s it

went here earlier and had the special soup, it was mixed veg, it was delicious, but the portion sizes felt a bit small! i got one piece of bread with the soup, and my family member got cheese on toast. the sourdough I had was perfect, but my family members toast was slightly burnt. the soup was extremely nice though! The coffee I got was alright too, and the tea was fine as well!

We had such a lovely brunch here. The food was incredible, and the staff were amazing. The person who took and brought our order was great, a perfect air of friendly and professional. The iced latte I had was perfect, and I could tell it had been made with fresh coffee, and had not been pulled from a fridge. What's not to LOVE!

Ordered the Korean burger and chunky chips..chips were delicious, crispy and hot..the burger was nice apart from the bottom of the bun being wet due to the tomatoes being put on the bottom layer..(suggestion, if you put lettice as a first layer it would prevent a soggy bottom!) Lovely coffee in here also. Loses a star due to soggy bread and also interior could do with some TLC imo

Nothing special. Used to be lovely in 2019, doing smoked salmon etc. used to always pop in with my partner or come for a catch up with my friend. I visited recently and wasn’t impressed. Servers were friendly. Bit grubby towards the toilets and bin bags everywhere. Food underwhelming. Oreo milkshake was ok, not as nice as it used to be. Pancakes look like they’ve been bunged in a toaster and tasted as much. Bacon wasn’t great, ended up leaving most of my meal. Probably will return for a latte, but that’s it.

Having been regular customers at the Wallasey village branch we were delighted to see that a branch was now open in Liscard, so we popped in but our first impressions were not good ones. The plastic covering on the table was ill fitting and cheaply done. The "background" music was too loud. Whilst we placed our order the waitress was rather rudely laughing with another member of staff so not giving us her full attention. Our order took ages to arrive, 2 coffees a tea and a cake, and considering we were the only customers at the time I dread to think how long it would take when there are more customers. Sadly we will not be making a return visit.

Being nice with rating but the prices are just not suitable for the area £12.00 for a breakfast and small portions it’s the north west not down south just being honest with my review and charging for diary free alternatives honestly don’t think this place will stay open long as your well far over priced compared to other places around the area

I went here yesterday 09.11.23 for the first time and the food was on point. My breakfast was delicious and kept me going all day. Thanks so much 😊. Will definitely be back to eat breakfast again or try something else. My breakfast is below in photo. So friendly the staff and food so reasonable, amazing value for money 😊. I took a deluxe hot chocolate home which was amazing. Xx

Comfy place, got there for about 11am for coffee. Hardly had any cakes, etc. left. No Tea cakes either. Had a Mocha which was tasty but not very hot. Great place for a relaxing environment and catch up.

This is a new find for me. Not only are there vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options on the menu, there are so many that I was able to have Tapas. It's very unusual for me to have so much choice when eating out. Being vegetarian and gluten-free, I often have to compromise, but I didn't here. It also had a lovely relaxed vibe, friendly owner and really helpful staff. I love this place and will definitely be back again.

Went for a late breakfast with a couple of friends, had the veggie option which was really tasty and well presented. It was quiet when we arrived so no problems getting a table, it soon filled up. Staff really friendly, will be back again soon.

Had the brilliant all day breakfast and it was cooked to perfection with very tasty bacon and sausage on a heated plate. Tea was loose leaf in a pot and the staff very welcoming and friendly.

We love Stollies for breakfast, just a coffee or their tapas and burgers! Such a great atmosphere on a Saturday night. My little girl calls it "Dollies" and the chocolate pancakes are her favourite.

Visited with friends last night, for the first time. A great place. We had some lovely tapas and the house wine was lovely. Next time I am in Wallasey I will be definitely paying another visit.

Nice venue, but surfaces, such as handrails on the stairs and paintwork around the toilets are sadly lacking cleanliness. Sticky banisters… Not good…

We have been in this morning for breakfast. Food was as always beautiful. The highlight of my visit today though was the two young lads that where working today. They really are an asset to your establishment. So polite and nothing was too much trouble. An elderly gentleman asked one of them if he minded helping him to his car when he had finished his food and it didn't phase the lad he was just "yeah sure". Thank you.

At Stollies the food and the drinks are always in perfect quality, fresh and very tasty. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I can only recommend Stollies, be it a lunch, a breakfast or just a quick coffee or a take out.

This is a really nice independent cafe , reasonably priced and a good range of snacks and meals. I believe they also open in the evening on Friday and Saturday for tapas. I will give that a try too. It has a family owned feel, very pleasant service and licensed stocking local bottled ales

Asked we had booked when we said no they said 'Hang on!' Went and checked and cleared a table for us. Nothing is ever to much trouble here and they're amazing with my Son who had Autism. Never challenged his behaviour just supported us. Food is always delicious 😋 . Worth every penny. 100% recommended. When are you going?

Nice but room for improvement. Stopped here for the first time recently and treated myself to one of their all day breakfasts. "The Carnivore" breakfast. It was... average, I'm feeling generous. A standard English breakfast but even I could've done better. Bacon was over cooked and dry, black pudding the same and the toast was barely buttered and had the texture of cardboard. On the plus side, the fried egg, cooked half tomato, mushrooms, has brown, sausage and baked beans were all as expected. Unfortunately (again), my meal quickly went cool during eating. The cafe was a nice ambient temperature despite it being cold outside, so I suspect it was a simple case of not pre-heating the plate. ...oh, my wooden chair had one of the front legs shorter than the other three, which made for an interesting balancing act while eating! lol :D (I could've swapped but it really wasn't a big deal). It reads like I'm slating the place, but I honestly wanted to give them five stars which is why I've been deliberately harsh. The environment, decor and "feel" of the place is great. Staff were very friendly and polite. There's bags of potential in this place, it just needs that extra push to make it a top notch local eatery. I'll be sure to revist sometime soon, I'll try a different part of the menu for comparison and update my review.

Some great food and good combinations. Pretty good coffee. Particular favourite, the brunch breakfast with avocado, poached eggs on granary plus a side of melon Great breakfasts of all types, meat, veggie and vegan

It's just a very pleasant relaxing place, huge windows so you can watch the world go by. Food & service is excellent. I've just taken delivery of my new all electric car & Lidl down the road have a rapid charger so when I need a powerful fast charge I walk to Stollies, killing a number of birds with one stone, charging, exercise, relaxation, lovely coffee, fab quick treats or lunch. Perfect 🥰

Popular place in the heart of Wallasey Village. Highly recommend the chorizo bag with the fried egg. Very nice and not too filling. The jumbo carnivore breakfast got an excellent review from my other half. Great vibe, chilled and friendly service.
