Nice cup of coffee, I gotta admit. Friendly service, not too pricy either, for a cafe that is. And you can sit outside!

Good coffee shop in the centre of Birkenhead, beside the shops and market. I sat inside and got a lovely chocolate orange donut and cappuccino. Upstairs was closed off, making it difficult to get a table downstairs. I got a small table beside the toilet, so I didn't stay as long as I wanted. There was seating free outside, but I found it was too cold to sit out.

I have 2 gripes,regarding the only 2 staff. when there is a fairly big queue, 1 member of staff should not be filling up extra cups especially when virtually full of cups already, secondly there is time and place for a server to waffle, just not when it is busy. Took ages to get a drink ,the place looked messy to be fair. Probably the worst branch I visited. Coffee was decent though

WE have been going into Nero, for years cannot fault the place new male staff, very pleasant and always a laugh with them, as for the Coffee, ist class. Roy

Ordered coffee and the staff were locked into a conversation and made feel like I was in the way. I object strongly to being called mate at any time least of all by somebody who is meant to be serving me. So disrespectful.

The staff are helpful and friendly. There haven't been enough chairs outside for months, losing many customers. The food is always too expensive. People buy food from more reasonable priced shops who are competitor of Cafe Nero.

Got just eat, sausage rolls possibly the best sausage rolls we have had they are beautiful, all the pastries are well made and fresh, substituted item and a note to say so, very polite and thoughtful, delivery very quick too, great food, great service, was first time trying a nero and won't be the last! Thanks guys 👏👏

Great place for a good coffee, friendly staff and conveniently located

Before visiting this specific Caffe Nero, I had negative views on the coffee chain as a whole. However, I visited this CN whilst other coffee shops were busy and I actually had my views changed. The staff are so lovely and funny, they're really helpful and they make brilliant coffee. I now visit this CN whenever i'm in town center before work or if i'm coming to do Uni work. The staff are the best part of the shop itself, I wouldn't go to any other CN unless its this one :)

I am autistic, so am not fully able to engage socially allot of the time. A young man, relatively new to the cafe served me. He engaged me in some kind of jokey convo but I was a bit in my.own head and my response seemed to offend him. He then proceeded to bully me alongside a colleague and even a customer. All because I didn't fulfil his social expectations. I am very angry about this as I have to pass the cafe when I shop and no longer feel welcome or desired there as a customer, despite being frequent business. I did nothing wrong. But this lads ego made a simple transaction into an actually bullying issue. And his colleagues supported this. I will not tollerate abelism from anyone going forward. Made a complaint to head office but doubt they care. Don't let staff treat you badly. This lad is newish, thin, heavily scouse. You cannot be ableis the way he was. This is deeply distressing and not something I will forget for a long time. I habe had challenging jobs, dealt.with problematic customers. Never did I resort to school like bully culture.

Actually a nice place with majoratively good food for snacks with coffee. Good customer service unlike some other stores. I would recommend this above all other in Birkenhead.

Coffee was fine and food, but a young male member of staff had finished his shift and was saying goodbye to his 2 female colleagues. He said goodbye 3 times and they both carried on chatting ignored him, this made me feel so sorry for him. He was a lovely polite young man I ended up saying bye and thank you to him 😔

A busy chain store town centre cafe. Useful meeting place when meeting family or friends before going shopping together. Staff are genuinely friendly & helpful but be wary of other customers trying to pinch your table if you pop to the loo or return to the counter to place an order.
