Just passing by and noticed the outside chairs, plus down the side.. with a lovely hidden suntrap secret garden hidden at the back.. Nice soup, cakes and excellent coffees. Need to try the rest of the menu, full breakfast or omelette calling at some point.

Went this afternoon for lunch with a friend. It was really busy when we arrived, so we sat in the outdoor terrace area. Our food arrived in no time at all, it was well presented and the portions sizes generous. When I couldn't decide what cake to go for, a member of staff kindly suggested the Orange and Ginger Chessecake that had been made that morning. It was heavenly and went down a treat. Benricks is a hidden gem, ideal for breakfast, lunch or a quick snack. They serve a varied menu with lots of choice. The staff are welcoming and friendly, definitely worth a visit.

Popped in for a coffee today with my dog. You can sit out the front or in the courtyard. The coffee is really nice and my dog was given a couple of treats. Will definitely go again hopefully for something to eat. The food looked lovely. Really nice friendly staff.

This is an excellent locally run family business. The food and coffees here are absolutely amazing. We always look forward to our visit and nothing is ever too much for the staff. They’re always smiling and are happy to see their vibrant little coffee shop busy 99.99% of the time. Keep up the great work guys 👏🏻

This place had been recommended to me for their breakfast. Was in the area so thought I'd try it. We were lucky got the last table, people were coming in and being turned away or having to wait alot of tables were reserved. Breakfast was yummy, lovely staff.

Come here ever time I drive up to see family. It is by far the nicest place to get Breakfast/Lunch in the area. Homely, and warm with good customer service. The decor is lovely, especially outside. It is often very busy, and totally worth the wait if there is a queue. Food is very good and speedy.

First time visit! Had a Large Skinny Cappuccino and Mince Tart Frangipan. I was offered Cream and it to be heated, This I declined. Lovely Coffee and the Cake was top notch! Next time I visit my Sister Val, I will pop in again! 5 Stars :)

A real gem of a cafe with wonderful, plentiful food choices and lovely, helpful staff.

Myself and my family have been here several times and normally had really lovely food, but unfortunately today's food was a big disappointment. Sausages for my daughter were disgusting and not cooked properly, my daughter is under 2 and it's just not acceptable at all. I normally get eggs royal with smoked salmon with 2 hash browns on the side. It was definitely a let down today, I don't know if there was a difference cook than usual in today or if they have changed where they buy their stock from but it's massively gone down hill. I can't say we will be back any time soon unless there's a massive change.

Traditional cafes are few and far between nowadays. Benricks is everything a cafe should be. Delicious food and cakes made on the premises, reasonably priced. The staff can’t do enough to help, hardworking with a smile on their face. Really nice coffees too. Benricks is my go to! I wouldn’t go elsewhere, very happy customer :)

Staff were friendly. But took about 40mins for our breakfast to come and then it wasn't great - scrambled egg on toast which was more like soggy bread so we left it. A bit of a dissapointing experience.

We ordered afternoon tea for 8 people to take away. All beautifully fresh and plentiful , would have liked more savoury bites ie...quiche maybe . But would highly recommend , staff were friendly and helpful . Thank you .

What a lovely place I can highly recommend it. Everyone was treated as a special guest. Lovely big pot of tea and tasty teacake.

Made to feel very welcome with a table at breakfast when it opened at 1000 on a Sunday morning. Seeing so many table reservations when we arrived was a sign that this place is in high demand ! Seating to the front and rear courtyard too. Great selection of dishes for all appetites whether full English plus vegan and vegetarian options too or something like the breakfast bagel which is highly recommended. Didn't investigate non-breakfast offer. All very pleasant and can't wait for an excuse to come here again and try something else.

Nice environment and seems popular, can't quite see why, breakfast is average and Beans arrived once I'd pretty much eaten the breakfast anyway. Not so sure I'll be using them again.

Great place, we had the full English and the salmon on muffins. Struggled to finish and didn't need to eat rest of the day. Went on a Sunday at noon, made sure I booked prior and just as well because they did have to turn peeps away as they were so busy. Plenty of reason to go back and try more of their menu. Service was awesome too!
