recently moved to the so I thought I'd try this place as my first take out. I love Mexican food so couldn't wait to try it as they are few and far between on the Wirral. for starters the food was over an hour late. I'm not a great lover of spice so purposely chose dishes that were not spicy. everything was covered in jalapenos and very spicy. it was also dry soggy and barely warm. I called the restaurant to find out where my order was just to be informed it was busy so I should expect it to be late. I disagree as I've worked in catering for 15 years and no you should never accept orders that you can't honour. poor food very overpriced and has sod all to with Mexico. would not recommend at all

Great Mexican food and great service. I've driven past this place lots of times and I finally managed to eat there lady week. How glad I am that I did. The food was first class and so was the service. This place deserves to be far busier than it seems to be. Give it a try!

I placed an order here and my order was over an hour late (it took 2 hours in total for the food to finally arrive), when I called to say the food was an hour late the guy said "alright love, not a problem" and hung up on me. The food itself was so bad I had to bin it. And to top it off they replied to my review by saying the food was only 10 min late and I should "go to Maccies". Worst Mexican takeaway ever, but seriously worst customer service EVER.

Used to really enjoy this place, and had delivery a few times, but this time I'm extremely disappointed and honestly angry. Ordered vegetarian chilli specifically from the vegetarian menu, and received actual mince, haven't eaten meat in 12 years and it has knocked me sick. Something like this is inexcusable, and when we contacted Sombrero they confirmed I had ordered the veggie chilli (which I knew) but the chef had obviously disregarded that and used meat. They have offered a refund, but I'm not satisfied, it shouldn't have happened in the first place. I won't be ordering again and I would advise vegetarians to either not order from this restaurant or call them to make sure they've read your order properly.

Orderd our food, waited 40 minutes to be told our order had been lost! The member of Staff that told us even had a smile when telling us and didn't seemed bothered that we was clearly disappointed and not happy. Definitely won't be returning.

We have eaten here many times the food is cooked to order they will make changes to the food if you require such as salad instead of tortilla. Although small this business also does take away Mexican food. . The staff are very friendly and helpful and nothing is too much trouble.

I tried this place before with my friend and I am obsessed ever since. I loved the good character and fresh dishes and drinks. Fantastic work.

Best breakfast ever had lovely friendly staff recommend everyone should try it. You won't be disappointed guaranteed.

Food is great but lack of parking can make it difficult to use at times. Just as well they have a take away delivery service.

Lovely little place. Don't let location put you off. Food was tasty, well priced and the service was top notch
