A lovely little cafe full of charm and serving the best cooked breakfast me and my girlfriend have had in a long time. The staff are ever so friendly, helpful and attentive. Everything was clean and fresh leaving you feeling comfortable and relaxed. Although it was extremely busy and we had a sort wait for a table once inside and seated there was no feeling of being rushed to make way for the next customers at any point. All the food is cooked fresh and to perfection with a lovely big pot of tea at the side. We are both made up we found this little gem and look forward to our next visit.

Nice little cafe, with lovely interior. Quite small but very reasonably priced. I went for a piece of cake and a cup of tea and although I did receive a very large slab of cake, it was definitively just a boxed cake mix. Still lovely tho! Dog Friendly which is a huge bonus.

We absolutely love this great little restaurant, the food is always perfect and the servers look after you properly and will serve anything you ask for, not just sticking to the menu. It was packed and we had to wait 15mins just to sit down. Well worth waiting for. *****

All of the staff that work here are really lovely and helpful. They are attentive and the service is quick. The food is delicious and reflects the price. There is lots to choose from. Ive been a few times and it is usually pretty busy which makes sense as its so good.

Was a lovely and unique place. Went for breakfast which was lovely. Could not book in advance but I rang 30 minutes before going and a nice lady happily saved us a space. Would go again and recommend.

What a surprise find. Elegant architecture and great all day breakfast. I had the veggie breakfast. You should share as it's too much for one person. Be sure to visit the toilet as it's amazing!

Delicious soup and the Patatas bravas were better than most dedicated tapas restaurants. Anne was an absolute pleasure and provided superb service. Fully recommend

This is such a gem! We arrived when it was full and they managed to do something for accommodating us. The place was beautifully decorated for Easter. The menu has a diversity of breakfast and brunch dishes, good offering, plus lots of drinks. The ladies are very nice! Food was good and came in decent portions. Prices are average, all good for quantity, quality and service.

I always love coming here! The staff are always so lovely and accommodating, the food is just amazing and the aesthetics of the cafe is gorgeous all year round!

Not our best visit to Aubergine Cafe. Spoiled by the rock hard bread that we also noticed through the kitchen door being kept warm under the grill. Also put me off seeing chef eating as he was preparing food. Sadly we won't be back and advise people to go elsewhere.

Large selection of items on the menu. My daughter had the fried chicken wrap which she said was really tasty. I had the crispy duck wrap which was amazing. Both came with salad and chips. Plenty of options for drinks too. We splashed out on a cake each too, Victoria sponge was moist and tasty, the salted caramel cake was delicious. Would recommend you give them a go. The staff were friendly and helpful which is always nice to find. Will be visiting again

This was my first visit and won't be my last. The food was delicious. I had a club sandwich all parts of which were lovely but the fluffy white bread was the star. My sister had a halloumi wrap (plenty of choice for vegetarians) and she ate all of that. The waiting staff and kitchen staff work like Trojans, well done all of you for your first class work.

Amazing service from the lovely Anne! She is an absolute asset to the cafe. A lot of other cafes and restaurant could learn a lot from the service Anne provided. Definitely will return for the lovely food and fantastic service.

Had a lovely full English breakfast, food was of good quality and the place it self had a nice chilled atmosphere, cute little cafe, only disappointment was I asked for no black pudding I wasn’t offered anything extra, but apart from that, it was great and will definitely go back

I went here on a busy Saturday at lunch time and it was packed but we managed to get a table. The service was excellent, the food delicious and the atmosphere lovely. I had the buttermilk chicken wrap, omg it was amazing. I could have happily eaten it twice. The fries were crunchy and tasty and just the right amount of salad on the side.

Found this place by chance on an extremely soggy Saturday. My daughter and I enjoyed a lovely lunch and a nice Chai Latte. The staff were very welcoming and polite and the food presentation was excellent. Will definitely go again.

We came back the very next day after we eat there for the first time. I was very impressed by the place. Doesn't happen to me very often but everything was great! The staff is helpful, friendly and professional. The food is very tasty, in time and definitely worth the money. Good coffee as well. Well done Aubergine team! I ll definitely come back and I highly recomand this place!

Lovely little cafe near to the centre of West Kirby, a stones throw from the train station. Well thought out menu, featuring a selection of meat, veggie and vegan options. My friend and I both opted for the veggie breakfast, it arrived well presented and there was plenty of it. All of which was very tasty and went down a treat. Friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere and a good starting point before venturing off for a walk. The cafe is situated within easy walking distance to the prom, beach, park and Wirral way. Well worth a visit.

Lovely atmosphere and great breakfast food. Cheese toastie and pancakes with maple syrup - lovely. Will definitely be returning. Don’t recommend the breakfast rolls - the roll itself wasn’t nice - just bland and boring. If they chose to use other bread such as ciabatta or fresher rolls it would be nice.

Genuine 5 star quality. Ann, our attentive and charming waitress made sure we were well catered for and had a fabulous Sunday breakfast. Charming little cafe serving the best breakfast for many a mile. Do pop in. Convenient location down a sunny little lane near the train station. Will be back.

Lovely meal here great food and great staff ,four of us had different meals. Lovely would go again as my son and his partner go there regularly .

Nice little cafe, smart and comfortable. Small menu, which I like. Breakfast was decent. The full English is a HUGE portion. Nothing wrong with it, but I would suggest trying some better sausages. Good coffee. We also tried sweetcorn falafel on a wrap. This was really very good. Proper vegetarian option that isn’t just for veggies. Nice fries. The reason it’s 5 stars was the service. So very friendly and relaxed but still attentive. Really nice welcome. It’s a small premises so it’s easy for it to be full up, but I suggest visiting if you get chance.

Lovely place that we just happened upon. Service prompt and friendly. Lots of menu choice with high proportion of items produced in house. Generous with butter and milk in order. Nice decor with quirky ambience. Would visit again if back in area.
