My wife and I stumbled upon this pub today because it had electric vehicle charging points and we are so glad we did because the breakfast was amazing and the staff were so helpful and friendly it made us feel like we were at home, we will definitely return and we would highly recommend this pub/restaurant to anyone.

Had a lovely experience last weekend came for a meal and a drink with a few friends and the staff were so happy and gave us a lovely warm welcome. Food was brilliant and took no time to get served at the bar. Will definitely be back soon couldn’t recommend it more.

Had to downgrade our review unfortunately. Went back tonight for the steak night. The food was tasty but we were asked how we wanted the steaks cooked, we both asked for medium rare however I would say they were well done and quite dry. I could have complained but they were edible. If the chef can't cook a steak to the order don't give the option. The waitress apologised and said the chef's weren't very good at cooking steaks !!!!

Nice atmosphere and fairly busy. It was a Sunday so 3 of our party had Sunday dinner I had fish, chips and mushy peas. I won the day! Fish was lovely, sunday dinners not so lovely (evidently), that was the verdict of the 3, I was fine. My wife said she would not expect to pay that price for such an inferior offering. That said, the staff were wonderfully helpful and cheery, place was clean and well cared for, plenty of big screens for sport if that's what you're looking for and dogs are allowed! Winner winner fish dinner.

Visited on Bank Holiday Monday, although service was quite slow, ee enjoyed our meal and it was nice yo sit outside in the sunshine. Big bonus was a large car park.

Lovely pub inside, nice & spacious. Ordered food & drinks on the app. Ended up having to chase the drinks as we waited 20 minutes for them. The bar didn’t seem very busy at the time. Then had to chase the food as we had been waiting an hour. Food ok, definitely not worth the hour wait. Didn’t seem overly busy so disappointed we had to wait so long.

One of the best meals I've had in a long time. Had the Mega Chicken meal sharer. Everything perfect with a dressed salad. Looked at other meals being brought out and they looked equally delicious.

Much improved from last i went which was a number of years ago.. food was lovely.. and service was excellent.. Ellie very helpfull.. we asked for a quiet area as have a grandchild with special needs and were put in room at the back which was great for us.. will go again!..

Can never get served for some reason whenever I go here. Bar virtually empty, staff nowhere to be found - as usual. Good selection of ciders and beers though once served.

My self , my family & friends visit the lighthouse regularly, Tina & the team they have there , have made it the best pub in wallasey in the last few years, if you want decent food & and a great place to watch any sport it's certainly worth a visit , good choice off draft beers, good atmosphere, great staff, Mark and the bar staff are a good laugh and always go the extra mile !

A just about OK selection of cask ales, and the food was OK too. In fact, my chicken pie was better than OK, to be fair. Price was about what we expected, but not cheap and cheerful. So, OK all round, really.

Went for afternoon drinks for my retirement, had a lovely afternoon food and drinks were brought. It was very busy so you always had to que .

No matter how busy it is, you never have to wait long for your meals and they're always top quality and totally delicious. The Lighthouse is always our family's first choice when going out for dinner or even a lunch with friends.

Best place on the Wirral to go watch any game. Be mindful though of the parking camera. The tablet indoors where you register isn't always working and although staff say not to worry I've been hit with a parking charge. Great pub menu. Good prices and very tasty food. Would recommend booking a table for any big events as it gets very busy.

I used to love visiting Wallasey Village and the Lighthouse Pub. Unfortunately whilst visiting with my Grand father, we received a parking ticket. My Grand Father doesn't like to walk too far as fear of losing his balance or becoming easily tired. The parking restrictions are not clear enough or the parking fees or fines and has received a notice for £100. Shame on you GreenKing and Lighthouse management. I won't be returning.

Food only OK. Too many TV's around the place for my liking. Not a place you would spend too long in. Eat and Go!

Went to watch Derby game struggled to find a seat as 95% of tables reserved. Finally got settled with table near window to watch football. Ordered food at bar, bacon sandwich and when they arrived the bacon was like scraps and the bigger bits were 75% fat, both a great experience. Ordered drinks on app waited for 30 mins before going to bar, told " I don't know what happened there but app order did not show on till!? More like staff only interested in regulars. Didn't feel welcome and left as soon as football over.

Very tasty starter and meal. Fresh fish. Fresh chicken. Best lunch time meal for months. Will return. Great Service. Great price. Recommend 5*

Popped in today for a quick lunch , absolutely amazing service and the staff couldn't do enough for us. Food was amazing aswell, bar service was quick and served with a smile.Definitely be popping in again.

Love the Sunday dinner here. Fab food, nice staff and a decent pint. Good value and 2 for £11 on meals Monday to Saturday. Social distancing etc good. Would be good if the checked the sanitiser stations more often as sometimes out when we've been there. Great staff, kids meals are lovely too x

A warm and friendly pub serving good food at sensible prices. Some seasonal choices are already available, linked to some very special, money-saving offers on their most popular menu items. These were pointed out to me, quite voluntarily, when ordering our food, by a very helpful member of the serving staff, saving me nearly £8 on my final bill. Great service.

I have just received fine of £100. In post. My friend booked us a meal 6pm on the 19th November It was pitch black going in car park I was trying to avoid cars coming in & out. Why were we not informed about Parking Charges when booking meal or asked on the night. THE pub was very busy that night.. As on a pension how do I pay this.. I certainty won't go there again. And I would like head office's phone number from you.. I have just found this page and see its happened to other people. So I can't be only one who didn't notice it.

It was very quiet. Food was ok, the bench seats we used were ripped. Staff were friendly which is why I gave 3 stars not 2.

Use to love coming to this pub as the food and the staff are lovely, but I visited the pub on the 11th of February with my disabled son. Popped up the blue badge and dashed in as it was raining. Food was great but 10 days later I received a 100 pound fine! For parking! Never have I received a fine before. Did not see a pay and display and obviously used my Blue Badge each time I come, never have i had a fine prior to this. Unfortunately I feel I can't return to the pub as disabled people have the right to use their disabled badge without prejudice.

Really nice pub that's always busy and got a good atmosphere. Food is always amazing (id recommend the chicken katsu curry) and the 3 for £12 starters are all lovely. Not too expensive, and the staff are always friendly and chatty. They also show the football and have a pool table.

We came here on Good Friday, and we ordered 4 Meals on the offer, after half an hour of waiting for our food I’ve noticed that of the customers had come in and got their food before us. I approached the desk and asked what was going on, they just rushed away from behind the bar and did not give me a reason for this so I just went and sat back down and waited for another 10 minutes. We had ordered three fish and chips and one scampi and chips. The meals came after 40 minutes of waiting, the fish and chips looked ok Plus the scampi and chips was shocking and badly prepared, not only that there were only five or six scampi pieces and about eight chips, you couldn’t of even call it a child‘s meal obviously just thrown together thinking it would keep people satisfied. It seemed to me they did not have enough and just threw them on the plate anyway. I just took it back to the bar and demanded my money back, what shocked me more was the attitude of what looked like the manager a woman (Who did not introduce yourself) telling her staff make sure you only give him £5.50 back and no apology whatsoever for the Time we waited and disgusting look and very inadequate size of meal of my meal. Not very happy with the whole thing and certainly not the managers attitude in a place like Green King. Disgusting I would have to be very desperate to come back here.

Food always good and had a great night a few weeks ago with a band playing. Thoroughly recommend.

It's ok, food ok, service not bad, price was reasonable, you have to pay to park in pub car park (what's that all about? ) So be very careful, you may get a fine, best thing to do is go somewhere else

Reserved a table for 10 on a busy Sunday afternoon and can't fault the staff, the food or the atmosphere in the pub. Great menu which covered all our gluten free and vegetarian needs. We made a huge order and everything arrived at the same time and was gorgeous. Would definitely recommend and can we will 100% be back. Thanks for a great afternoon.

Ordered a hunters chicken. Looked like it was just shoved in the bowl with chips and served to me. Wasn't the nicest so will most likely not be going back.
