Darren served us and we had the most attentive fantastic service. He even squeezed us in on a busy day. Always making sure we were happy. He is a genine asset to your company please make him a manager and don't let him go !!! we haven't had service like that in a long time what a lovely guy. From Mark & Karen.

Staff are excellent, service was great. Booked in for breakfast for the 4 nights we stayed at the Travelodge. Great selection for breakfast, the kids enjoyed it. And they allowed dogs which was a bonus for us as we had 3 travelling with us. We managed to get squeezed in on one of the busy nights, deffo worth booking if planning a visit with a large group in the summer. The food was great each time we came. There are water bowls and a doggy beer barrel full of water to refill them as well. Great value and fast service. Definitely recommended.

Nicely updated/refurbished since our last visit. Dog friendly bar area is a winner. Drinks facilities much better now. Self service machine with free top ups. Could do with two machines though, I can imagine a big queue when busy. Nice atmosphere for a chain pub.

Visited teatime today (26th Aug '20) for a family meal. We booked in advance because told we would need to otherwise we wouldn't be seated, but when we arrived it was eearily quiet. We were shown to table 27 and then given the Covid talk which was very professional. Ordered our meals. My steak arrived and the presentation was awful, my wife's curry looked lovely and my daughters was totally wrong. The waiter insisted it was what we ordered but my wife showed him the order on her phone that she had read out to the cashier so he had obviously misunderstood when taking it. Also no cutlery arrived with the meals so we were left waiting.Not impressed as I don't like cold steak. Cutlery should arrive either before or with meals. Waited a good while for the replacement meal to arrive.Also 2 of the meals should have come with onion rings but didn't. The other major problem were the flies. They were relentless. So much infact that my wife & daughter couldn't eat their meals. They need to have blue light emitters to curb the swarm. It wasn't even a hot day. God help anyone that gets table 27 on a really hot day because it won't be pleasent. Considering it wasn't busy, the service was terrible and along with everything else it doesn't entice us to eat here we won't be visiting again!😞😞😞

Just had a cracking brunch here, service was friendly, efficient and food was excellent 👌 our dog was made very welcome , a water bowl was brought over immediately. Thank you Marissa, Jodie and Holly.

Popped in with kids after 9pm for some desserts before heading home, and we were welcomed without feeling like we were rushed. Bar and restaurant staff were lovely and helpful, going so far as to tweak an order made on the app, thanks to a friendly barmaid. The desserts we ordered definitely hit the spot - the reason I can't give 5 is because we didn't eat a main or stay for a prolonged period, but I'd be tempted to try some of the daily deals advertised.

Went for breakfast. The kitchen do an amazing cold dry toast. Best order the day before as its prepared then has to stand in the kitchen for a couple of days to get air dried. When it arrives it will just crumble to a dried collection of croutons.....devine!

The staff were very accommodating for our 2 children and the food came quickly and was very hot. The kids really enjoyed it and so did we.

Unfortunately we were able disappointed with the visit today. Paid for an extra large and received 2 xtra Yorkshire pud, the rest looked normal size Health and safety may need reviewing by the management as 1 of the fire doors was blocked by a toddlers high chair with cleaning products in I. I also notice that the toilet check sheet was filled in ahead of the time for example at the time of writing this, 1314pm the 1400 slit had already been completed

Great service and great food at great prices always. The sticky toffee pudding had bourbon in it...was warming and delicious

Only place I have ever eaten where the salad was served on a plate so hot, I couldn't touch it. The lettuce was definitely wilted.😂 The other meals seemed OK, and the cocktails were good value, although choice was limited on the night, which was disappointing.

Went for my daughters 21st Birthday. Great atmosphere, really busy. Everywhere was very clean. Staff were brilliant and always on hand. Amazing choice on the menu and easy to order from the table via the app. The food came out very quickly after being ordered. It was all delicious, couldn't fault it. Our party was big with 15 of us and nothing was too much. 100% recommended 👌 👍

Great food and atmosphere, even better staff. So friendly and attentive. Go often with my family! My young boys love it, kids menu is brill and my 5 year old loves the toy machines. Lovely bar and drink selection for child free nights too!

The manager of this place needs to get a grip of their rude flouncing staff members. Never had a problem in this place, but judging by the reviews I've seen lately, they have a major staffing issue. They have the rudest staff I've come across. Flouncing and shouting and telling anyone who will listen if they've had an issue with customers it's ridiculous. It's like listening to a group of teenagers in high school. Will not be back felt so uncomfortable.

We ate there twice. The food was lovely, it was hot & tasty, personally recommend the burgers. Prices are great. Even at the busiest times we didn't have to wait long. Perfect pint! The staff were friendly & efficient. Only thing against it is the air con is too cold. But would definitely go in again when we're in the area. 👌 If you're a big party would definitely book in advance at busy times.

The staff are really fantastic here and the company should be proud of them. They are a really lovely group of young women who were so helpful and friendly. The food was good - I could be picky and say that the veggie burger was a bit dry, but really, it was all decent enough for the price, which was reasonable. Drinks were all very good, too.

We went for a birthday tea and had not booked a table as we thought it would not be to busy. It was really full and we needed a table for 7. The girl who served us was very helpful, she looked around and decided that after she had cleared a table we could push 2 together which she did immediately. We were given time to decide what we wanted, 2 of the meals being gluten free and the order was placed. The food was served quiet quickly, pipping hot, and very tasty considering how busy it was. The staff are really pleasant and helpful and couldn't do enough for us and it was evident that they gave all their customers the same attention. We had a very pleasant evening celebrating a birthday and will certainly come back again. Your staff are a credit to you.

Second time eating here. Big servings which tend to satisfy. Burger was really big and juicy, had no issues at all. The mini mixed grill was surprisingly big, and even the regular cheese burger was a really good sized plateful

Had a meal & drinks before a show at the pavilion the evening drinks after the show. We stayed overnight @ travelodge then back to sea horse the following morning for a gorgeous breakfast. All Our meals were lovely fish & chips was cooked to perfection lightly battered & crispy & sticky toffee pudding infused with bourbon was so delicious. A big high five to all the staff that were so good at there job ,friendly & they done a fab job putting up the Christmas tree & decorations. Your pub made our stay in New Brighton a lot more memorable Thank you

1500hrs on a sunny Saturday afternoon, very busy but didn't have to wait long for food, very reasonable food, reasonable prices, expected a longer wait but wasn't more than 30 minutes for a table of 8 ordering, seems family friendly with cars 3 on the big screens, quite, relaxed atmosphere. Desserts took 45 minutes to arrive after having asked about the delay 3 times, maybe dont get pudding.

Popular venue at New Brighton. Pleasant staff, reasonable wait times for food, price ££. As clean as a pub. 🌶 dishes a little lacking in the 🔥 department.

Absolutely disgraceful service.. Four of us ordered at the same time 2 meals arrived after 20 minutes the third after 40 minutes and the last one after 45 minutes by which time I requested a refund and as I was at the bar my meal arrived. The barman asked what table we where on, looked over and said I couldn't have a refund for my wife's meal (40 minutes after ordering) because she had started hers. When I got back to the table my meal was cold, The young lady on the front door was very helpful and we all felt sorry for her as she was rushed off her feet, ******DIABOLICAL******

On arrival the staff member was very unhelpful. We had a group of 7 people, 3 adults and 4 children. She didn’t try to accommodate our booking and couldn’t even give us a timescale on when a table would be available. She stated that a booking like us would take up too many tables. They were unwilling to take any bookings over 4. The customer service was terrible. I would suggest some good management.

Met up with family for a meal. Looks great revamped. Food came out very quickly, probably too quick but that's not a negative. Food was good, staff were all very pleasent. Served by John at the bar, great guy to chat with. Overall very enjoyable.

Food is okay and the prices won't break the bank. However looking tired and scruffy inside, long overdue refurbishment.

Food was very nice and at a very good price. You may have to book as I think it gets very busy due to its location especially on warmer/sunny days. The staff seemed helpful and we didn't have much of a wait for food or drinks. Did have issues with using app to order to table but was able to order at bar. Otherwise would of been 5 stars. Will be going again.

We visited on a morning and found the place to be clean (tables wiped between visits) and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. I recommend the veggie breakfast too! Good basic pub food and reasonable prices.
