Lovely pub, delicious food, friendly staff, clean and free of any foul odours, pictures are of the Burger Sliders main, the Fish finger Panini main, and the Southern Fried Chicken Burger main. Very filling!

Had a walk on New Brighton front. Fancied eats this place had great reviews. Ordered Calamari and Goats cheese bon bons to start. Firsta and black and blue burger gor main. The food was great. Fantastic flavours to starters. Burgers were home made. Highly recommended. Staff friendly

Traditional Pub with good pub grub and very friendly staff. Prices reasonable and chip were great. Definitely worth a visit but more variety of cask ales would good.

We had a lovely meal ...the staff were most welcoming and polite ..and the food was delicious .I highly recommend the salt and pepper calamari...that's worth five stars on it's own...

Lovely pub and staff, booked a table for 4 which was a bit cramped between 2 other tables (this was a bit uncomfortable) however it was a Sunday and very busy. We all had roast dinners which were very nice, but I would recommend making it large as portions aren't that big.

Sunday lunch and a couple of cask ales. Very busy but fitted 3 of us in without a reservation. Friendly hosts. Not overly expensive and home cooked beef roasts. Pudding was excellent too!

We are so fortunate to have this little lovely Gem of a pub in Wallasey. The Food is stunning, amazing menu , I always want everything!! big portions & excellent prices! The staff are brilliant, very friendly and polite , everything is always delivered with a smile . Cosy atmosphere. Exceptional all round…. Hats off to the Pilot boat you are doing such a fantastic job of keeping this pub going to a truly excellent standard in this crazy current climate ! .. I always come away from the pub feeling like I’ve just had a big warm hug 🥰 as a family we absolutely love it there , keep up the amazing work, Can't wait to be back xx

Really nice! All fresh, crispy batter on fish, homemade chips were special, mushy peas just right.... Restaurant only as good as the chef!... This is a good chef 👍highly recommended
