Delicious food and great friendly service and atmosphere. Really happy we stumbled across this little gem of a eatery. Thanks to Alex and the team for a very pleasant lunch, look forward to visiting again.

Cozy bar with small plates of food, and excellent deals (such as 3 plates of food for £15 in when we visited). The menu of food isn't particularly long, but includes enough dishes (including vegetarian) to enjoy as a meal with your choice of drink. Service is warm, helpful and friendly.

Second visit to Heritage and both times we have been blown away. First time here the food was good and atmosphere chilled. Second time we felt like old friends being welcomed back, the staff remembered us and from the second we approached the door we couldn't have felt more valued and loved. Food again was fantastic, couldn't fault it!

It may seem like a small hole in the wall but it makes up for it with flavor. I had the broccoli and was blown away! The pizza was delish. Sea bass was made to perfection. Service was excellent.

Great dinner from a fine menu. Nice decor & atmosphere. But found it a little cold. Heating could be turned up a little more.

One of the best restaurants I have visited in Liverpool or in UK. Two of us ordered 6 plates, 2 desserts, 2 glass of Prosecco and a bottle of red. All of them were spot on. We were especially impressed with rump steak with carrot and onion sauce (that sauce!) and whiskey and butterscotch panna cotta. On top of good food, friendly service and cosy atmosphere, the total bill came as less than £100. Please open a branch in London!!

Not what I was expecting, but the food was really tasty with a nice twist on Spanish tapes. Staff were very friendly Price for the food is very reasonable we thought, quite a little hidden gem 👍

First time at this boutique restaurant and I’m really impressed, staff are extremely courteous and friendly, the food is really good and it’s all mixed with a chilled beats music that’s not overpowering, definitely will be coming back again, to pigeonhole I’d honestly say it’s one of Liverpools hidden gems

Our experience at Heritage was disappointing. The food was underwhelming - no more special than what I could have made at home and portions are small for the price, even considering it's "small plates". e.g. the pan fried seabass - literally one fillet of seabass, no garnish or sauce or anything, with the skin not even crispy, for £9. Hot chicken wings just seemed to be caked in chilli paste, not much flavour, only heat. The taste of the beef burger reminded me of a cheap burger from a van - but for a whopping £10, not including fries! Thank god we went during the "50% off all food in January" offer, otherwise I would be feeling thoroughly ripped off. The service was poor. Tables around us took over an hour to be cleared after customers left, which made the ambience unpleasant. Staff did not check on us during our meal, or ask if we wanted sauces etc. Staff were more interested in chatting to their friends than providing good service. Cocktails were nice but that won't be enough to bring us back to an establishment that really doesn't put any care or love into their food.

Great for a light meal or combining a few of the delectable small plates on offer if your looking for something larger. My partner had the Ox Cheek Ragu, but I had the pleasure of experiencing Alex's Chicken Curry. Staff were brilliant, but not a whole lot of seating inside.

I've been here for both drinks and a meal and both times I've never had any problems. There is outdoor seating available. There's a wide variety of soft drinks and alcohol drinks, some drinks are on drinks offers which are more than worth the money! Regarding food I've never had a bad meal, all the food comes out hot and is served both inside and outside (weather depending). They do meal offers on sections of their menu throughout the week all of them cooked to a high standard. The staff are really welcoming and friendly always have the time of day to stop and have a little chat with their customers. Thank you staff, you're all amazing!

I come for dinner. Atmosphere is good. But food taste really just average. Not hot enough, nothing special.

Just popped into Heritage for a quick bite and drink and was blown away! Terry (owner/manager) was very friendly and chatted with me and staff team were great!! (Special mention for Becky and El who were absolutely amazing) Cocktails were lovely and food was great. I'll definitely be back!

Nice cocktail bar, shame about the food Menu has big potential but was a bit confused, with under seasoned and underwhelming food. Tempura cauliflower was half a cauliflower that had been deep fried whole... It's a bit of a mix of burgers, small pizzas, tapas-style dishes and then small portions of normal dishes (fish and chips etc). If you're looking for a cocktail on Castle St it's fine, but for a fine dining small plates experience you might be better off elsewhere.
