Walk from West Kirby to New Brighton train station is under 8 miles. It was high tide so couldn’t walk West Kirby beach to West Kirby Dunes. Had to find alternative route till we got there. Luckily we had packed our lunch as there is no where to purchase food or drink along the way. Toilet stops ; there was one about midway and cost 30p entry. You can walk on the beach most of the way in low tide. Otherwise there is the coastal pathway. It is a beautiful walk enjoyed by people of all ages. Most of all dogs of all breeds and sizes taking their humans to the beach is a treat. Watching them swim, ran and just going wild brings brings joy and happiness to all.

Lovely place. A great place to walk dogs. Beautiful beach and Sandhills, with a variety of wildlife. I, personally, love the upper area, where the scent of dog roses fills the air. BUT, no toilets, and the council charges for parking, despite the huge potholes. Also, Beware of leaving anything valuable in view and be aware that there is an entirely different group who uses the area later in the day. Let's just say that you see a lot of used condoms lying around.

My place of Zen. I absolutely love here in all of the different seasons. In summer it is just beautiful, the walk to the leasowe lighthouse and to Hoylake and West Kirby is amazing. Great cycle route as well. Swam here last Christmas Day, whilst it was cold it was fantastic to do. It is a place of serenity, fun, peace, relaxation, contemplation, whatever you decide it can be. Keeping it clean is the most important thing though so make sure you take all rubbish away, people are very hot on that deservedly so. Enjoy.

Only issue with this place is lack of amenities, including the lack of toilets. However if it got that, the council would probably change their mind and charge for parking. It does now have a coffee than that is certainly there at weekends, but it's quite slow as only 1 person working it. It's a lovely beach, that can get very busy, especially with dog walkers and cold water swimmers πŸŠβ€β™‚οΈ.

Thurs is a beautiful place, great for walks at any time of the year. In summer, full of people with dogs, full of life. There is also a prepared barbecue area, with tables and numerous benches scattered on the dunes. In my opinion, a very therapeutic place that soothes our senses.

Driven past the sign many times on the way to New Brighton but never visited until today. And wow what a lovely place! The views are fabulous. Beach is beautiful. Definitely visit again. Our greyhound loved it too!

Right on sea front. 1 minute to get onto beach good for dogs. Also has top dunes which overlook the golf course. Quiet for those dogs who can be a handful on beach.
