Lovely park. Great kids play area, absolutely stunning art carved out of trees with mini β€˜scenes’. Loads to see and a great location right on the Mersey. Catch a sunset and you’ve got the best of everything with a view over the famous skyline of Liverpool. Well worth a visit.

Very beautiful park, looks like an enchanted mini forest, beautiful gardens and flowers, there is also a small shop where you can have hot drinks and sweets, after a walk we had an icecream and it was tasty, bit pricey for the amount they put, I think its a nice place to walk around, take your pet and relax

Beautiful park situated facing the River Mersey. Good play area for the little people and a delightful Fairy Glen that makes even the adults amongst us smile. Great to walk through, picnic within and generally just sit and appreciate the natural beauty that surrounds us. Good cafe serving a selection of hot & cold drinks, ice-cream and hot food. Lovely staff who are friendly and engaging. The coffee is good, as is the hot chocolate and cake. Memorial garden ideal to sit and relax within, shame about the rose garden disappearing although the space really catches the sun and is nice to sit within and watch the world go by. Joy time runs at the bandstand throughout the school holidays and is a hit amongst the younger children, lots of interactive games and activities for them to join in with. Direct access to the promonade and beach, an ideal starting point to begin exploring the surrounding areas.

Wooden sculptures dotted throughout which were good to get the kids to go and investigate, a table with some tea pots for a children's tea party, a game table. A kids play area, some gym equipment. A pavillion that was playing music when we visited that was pretty good. Great park if you're having a picnic or wandering through. And a great view of the Liverpool skyline.

Fantastic Park with everything for a full day out. Waking distance to the local shops for anything you forgot. Have a walk along the promenade, views of the River Mersey and Liverpool. If you keep going you can go have a play on the fair in New Brighton πŸ‘πŸ˜ŽπŸ˜‰

Possibly one of the best parks in the country, it has the fairy garden, which is items created by local people made out of driftwood / wood / old toys. There is a band stand which hosts regular music / dancing events for free during the summer months with lawn chairs to sit and watch. Great views from the bottom of park over to the world famous Liverpool skyline, beautifully maintained gardens and trees and a cafe which sells coffees/teas/ soft drinks / ice creams and cake. Perfect place for children and adults alike.

Vale Park is ideal for families - great cafe in centre with coffees and ice cream. The grounds are great, lots of space and direct access to the promenade. There is also a playground which is closed off - lovely place on a Spring / Summer Day. Toilet situation could be improved / also gates on the park entrances could improve park.

Some lovely work done on the flowerbeds at Vale Park. Two new beds seem to have appeared!

Great little park. Nice walk past the sculptures with the autumnal colours of the fallen leaves. Toilets here are a life saver - so rare in public space these days. My grandson really enjoyed the playground. Would definitely recommend a visit.

Small park with exercise equipment and in the park are some nice creatures made by local artist. Park is very clean with enough space for picnics with nice view on Liverpool Dock.

Lovely park. Went to a music festival in aid of mac millan. Sun was shining.well organised. Deck chairs available.Cold drinks and ice cream kiosk. 8 portaloos ready for the summer events. Good child's play area and fairy garden. Cafe.Views over the Mersey. Some trees at sides for shade. Saw people on disability scooters able to get around.

Lovely park, plenty to keep kids (play park, fairy things, game, ice-cream) and dogs (squirrels and water bowls) entertained. Lovely coffee and cakes and delish, variety of yummy ice-creams. Right by promenade. Kids entertainment shows and live bands in the summer. Art gallery. Highly recommend.

Rediscovering Vale Park after many years was a pleasure. The grandchildren absolutely love the enchanting fairy gardens and wooden fairy tale sculptures. A great place for the kids to run free. Playground is good with lots of equipment along with gym equipment placed around the park. The designated gravel football area is a great . The Joytime show in the bandstand is amazing for the youngsters, this runs right through the summer. Not really changed in the million years since I was there as a child. Lovely cafe area to be enjoyed as well.

Lovely park, I often walk my dogs here. No groups of teenagers hanging around up to no good. Fellow dog walkers who are polite, it's nice to see smiling faces. It's also nice to walk out of the park onto the prom and walk the dogs on the beach when the tide is out. It's got a little fairly village in it that's been creatively made by recycled wood. At Christmas they put up lights and it looks magical for the kids. It's a really community feel and everyone seems so happy. Good vibes in this park 😊

Lovely park. We have been visiting for many years in mornings or early afternoons. Fab view to the Liverpool Skyline too. Lots of shady areas for digs in summer. Cafe , children's playarea and fab wooden sculptures.

My grandson absolutely loved the park. He would have stayed for hours looking at the little buildings in the Fairy Park if we'd had the time. Excellent facilities, well maintained..

Fabulous for all ages!!Great park got little ones and lovely ice-cream to be had at the cafe. Only disappointment is that there weren't any toilets but I believe they were squashed by a tree in the storm ...so would presume they will be built and open to the public once more. Cafe is take out only.

Lovely little park for kids & adults, but especially younger kids. It has a fairy park, trolls & a few quirky little things to help them use their imagination. Also has public toilets and catering of food & drinks. There's plenty of benches to, so you can sit down, rest & just enjoy the view.

We loved it here. The play park doesnt have loads to do but was enough for 2 little ones and a big one. Then as you walk round you come to the fairy village which was out of this world! The details were amazing and we spent alot of time just looking and making up stories about their world. There is also a section for people to put there painted rocks or take to rehide and a lovely view of the mersey and over the water. To top it all off there was a cafe situated in the middle with the best cakes!

My cavalier enjoyed it but can't let him off the lead as he's so friendly and wants to say hello to every dog bless him. But there's a little enclosed part where he and his labrador friend had nice run round.. Lovely park
