Very popular grassed areas within a short walk, across a road, to the New Brighton beach. Plenty of parking spaces but these go quickly on Bank Holidays and during the weekend when the sun is shining. Views out to sea, Liverpool Docks and the Burbo Bank wind farm. Great for kite flying, football, and just relaxing.

Great beach for dogs and kids alike. The quiet end of the New Brighton prom. No shops etc. πŸ˜πŸ‘

Great venue especially for the rally stages. Lovely place to be to stretch your legs and get some fresh air.

Going to New Brighton for the first time in 9 years has been a thrill and an enjoyable experience. Went back here to the beach with the girlfriend and we loved every minute of it. The weather is amazing. The docks on the other side give that nostalgic feel and it has great atmosphere here.

Nice walk along the promenade. Plenty of free parking, either at New Brighton end, or just of an A road by the sand dunes. Life guard are on duty during the day should you venture a little into the water at New Brighton end. Walked quite far out during the last low tide and captures some photos. Be careful though, River comes back in from the side and can get surrounded quickly (as has happened to me before). Often see people fishing here too.

Pretty windy today despite it looking nice. Grass was fairly brown and dog preferred to walk along the path than on the grass verge?

Plenty of places to park, dog friendly . If in campervan costs Β£20 for overnight. No facilities a rip off! Go to car park next to bubbles world for free overnight parking

Lovely place to go for picnic. It's a great open space for sports / bbq etc. It's right next to the beach, plenty of free car parking on the roads around it. (Note its illegal to drive on the dips and there are cameras the obtain reg)

Big grassed area, each about the size of a football pitch. No golf permitted. Plenty of free parking, just not for campervans overnight

The dips are basically 3 big fields (or dips) which are presumably a kind of flood defence for new Brighton. I take my kids and my dog to the dips regularly. It's a good place to take a football. Lovely location (right on the coast). Some people pitch tents there for the day - you can't stay overnight. No facilities at the dips but you can walk to nearby shops in New Brighton.

UPDATE 2022 No longer free to stay overnight!!! Price for overnight stay with no facilities is ridiculous We used to stop here overnight before setting off on our trips, stock up at the local shops, get a meal from the local chippy and also go for breakfast somewhere local. Will find somewhere more welcoming to spend our hard earned cash. Wirral Council need to rethink their policy as I don't think we will be the only ones to stop visiting.

The area itselfs is on the up. Plenty of things to do, from supermarket to shop at home and bargain to Iceland. To eat and drink. Cinema to bowling to kids soft play to outside crazy golf. To model boating. Why not visit the pirates man made structure or visit the fairy Garden within Vale Park. Or take a walk around Vale Park. Arcades or a mini fun fair. Plenty of seaside walking and a beautiful Fort and lighthouse. All over looking the waterfront of Liverpool. Such a pleasant and relaxed seaside resort with a beautiful beach β›± take a walk or drive away from the seafront and Plenty of things to do, in Victoria Road. Or beyond.
