Great views over the Mersey and plenty of dog walking space, saw lots of song thrushes which was lovely. Some visitors leave litter hence 4 stars but as all parks have rather annoying folk that don't use the bins provided,it doesn't spoil things unless you allow it to.

Full of teenagers/kids with no respect and unattended. Playground has been burnt down yet again. Hate taking my kids here now.

Usually a good park but the play area for the kids has had chain locks on all the gates for over 4 weeks now and no reason why

Very large field on a hill, with a lovely little kids play park right in front of a primary school that is years old & it's still going strong & my granddaughter goes there too & she loves it. The teachers are very friendly & my granddaughter loves them. The park has a 5 aside football concrete pitch also a field large enough to play normal football on & there is also a hut for all kinds of things like judo type stuff, which is a good way to teach the children or teenagers discipline obviously the younger they start the better they'll be. Anyway it's also good for a picnic & you can see liverpool from the top of the hill, so it has a great view all the way to Sefton Park in Liverpool. I know it's Sefton Park, because it has the same set of blocks of flats & it isn't far away from Liverpool city center. Well all I can say is give it a try & if you don't like it i'm sorry. Gaz-1

Decent park but I never go there because often there are unsupervised dogs with no owners to be seen - last time I was there with my 2 Corgi's some mean looking boxer type dog was out there on its own with nobody in sight - it wouldn't stop following me and my dogs but of course if was Monday and the dog wardens don't work then for some reason. I had to tell to a random passerby to come and help me and hold this stray dog while I got away, and he tells me that the owner lives nearby and just let's it out on its I own like that all the time. This is how little kids get mauled to death. Stay in Victoria Park if you want to be safe walking your dog.

Nice park .. not as well kept as its nearby nieghbour Victoria but its pleasant enough. Its good for walking dogs as its very hilly & has a nice large play area ,which is enclosed for the kids(no dogs).

It's great for kids & teenagers a like, for the kids there is a decent little play park & for teenagers there is a 5 aside concrete pitch also a large field to walk the dog or dogs, also it's big enough to play normal football, I wouldn't like to dive for the ball on concrete, i'm too old for that haha!, so the field would be better than the concrete. The only problem with the fields are they are on hills with large drops on each side. Anyway it's a nice place as long as the weather's nice too. Enjoy yourselves. Gaz-1.

Nice place to have an evening walk after work with children. Few benches dotted around paths. There is a play area for children, which has recently been refurbished and a caged 5 aside footy pitch. There is also a kickboxing club in the grounds of the park.

Good fun for the kids but gotta be careful sometimes as older kids drink in there and there's smashed glass.

Lovely play area for the kids, unfortunately people ruin it with littering.
