Victoria Park has a small enclosed play area aimed at the younger children, there is a football pitch on stone with metal caging for goals. Cricket is played in the park from the cricket club situated in there so you are not allowed on the cricket pitch which is situated in the middle of a lively flat field, there are walkways around and through the park for kids on bikes to used. There is another couple of grassed areas that are nice for families to enjoy and play on. Plenty of dog walkers use the park and in fairness it is clean from dog mess to allow your children to play.

Victoria Park presents itself to me as a friendly place which is well looked after by council staff and volunteers. Being a volunteer myself I am contributing to the cleanliness and beauty of this simple yet appealing place with it's triangular shape, sloping hills towards the Mersey and fantastic views across the river to the Liverpool skyeline and down towards Ellesmere Port. I love this park for walking my dog or bringing my granddaughter to play. I like the fact that it has many uses, from cricket and football playing to keeping fit, relaxing and bird or squirrel watching. New people are always very welcome! 😊🌲🐕🏏⚽️⛹️‍♀️🤸‍♀️🤼‍♂️🚴‍♀️🧡

This is a lovely play area for the children. Kept them occupied for over an hour.

So lucky to have this lovely park so close to home! Just been there with my mum & dogs for a walk & it was so nice and full of other dog walkers going about their business. Only thing I could fault was a fair bit of litter everywhere (left by people)🙄 didn't notice even one bit of dog muck left anywhere in the park, just litter left by lazy disrespectful people!

Lovely park some nice people walking around. Go every day for a walk so see lots going on. A large amount of dog walkers are great they pick there dogs mess up. But you always get the ones who don't care, they let there dog off the lead and walk ahead not bothering to watch what they are doing. If you say anything to them you can guess what they are going to say. Oh i haven't got a bag . Well make sure if you are taking a dog for a walk always have bags with you.

Again, nice crowds when the sun's out, plenty of dog walkers, people with music having fun with their kids.. A nice place to be. Football if you like. Not sure after dark though but hey, I wouldn't walk down an alleyway in the dark either. The sunset before was outstanding.. 🌞🌞

It's a traditional park flanked by old trees... Has areas for football and a large cricket pitch.. it's a lovely park for a stroll with your dog. It's clean too! Plenty of benches to sit and people watch. Good place to relax... But if you want exercise there are various outside gym apparatus to use.

Quite small play area compared to some, but my son still enjoys it.
