Visited yesterday while in West Kirby. A nice 'out of the way' Park that is a nice distraction from everyday hustle bustle that is going on around it. Nice wide paths and woodland when you enter from the Westbourne Road entrance. Lovely lake with ducks & geese with benches to sit down and enjoy. There is a large play area with plenty for the kids to play on. There is a arched bridge which crosses you over the Wirral Way and then the park seems to become a bit neglected and unkept. There are tennis courts to the left and an expanse of park area with trees. The flower beds need refreshing and then it would look fabulous. A second bowling green is an added little treat. Plenty of wildlife when you cross through to the little woodland area. Birds and squirrels in abundance. A nice enough park but jyst feels a bit unloved. Still worth a visit if you are round and about that side of the Wirral

Such a lovely park in West Kirby! Lots of lovely little paths and full of dogs walking round!! Plus there’s a big pond in the middle with loads of birds you can feed with bird seeds and grains :)

A beautiful well kept park that even has a little shop where you can buy duck food and refreshments Β£1 or 20p. Tell me where else you could actually get anything to drink for 20p these days. Wonderful play area for the kids Central pond to walk around. It's small with a bowling green. Loads of little plaques dotted around the park with history of it. Apparently used to be an old train station site.

Beautiful park in West Kirby. It's got bowling greens, a lake, tennis courts, 5 a-side football pitch, children's play area, gardens, boules court and toilets. The park links into the Wirral Way, if you fancy a walk or bicycle ride.

Lovely paths and outdoor play area. We went in August so it was a busy and had great atmosphere. Not for to walk to the beach from there. Grounds well maintained and clean.

Haven't been here for a few years, we went to specifically see the squirrels, we did feed the waterfowl we only feed with mixed grains and seeds, there is the shop that is attached to the bowling green that still sells bird food on small bags which is popular, there were a lot of different birds, Canada geese, coots, moorhens, mallards, pigeons, ducks and about four species of seagulls, lovely hour or so πŸ˜€

Love this park. The pond is great for feeding the birds and there's a play area at the far end that the kids love too.

Lovely park with ducks on the pond and nice walks around the area.No refreshments although it did state the cafe near the bowling green opened occasionally. Also has swings etc for the kids to let off steam.

The park was covered in litter, and all the bins were overflowing. My 5 year old made comments on how bad the smell was. The lake was beautiful and we had a lovely picnic at the far end by the bowls green away from all the litter.

Love this place woth my girls only problem was apparently some of the pigeons had bird flu and the sign was just a a4 peace of paper you could barley see telling you what to do and not to touch the birds...bit of a shocking effort when kids go here all the time

Fenced off play area with seating and plenty of space outside this to sit and have a picnic. There is also a large pond with ducks and other wild birds. Our toddler granddaughter loved it.

Solar system walk is the best thing ever. Literally out of this world. The whole solar system to scale.

I love this place. There is a photo in bowls club house with my Grandad and Dad on from sometime late 30,s early 40,s. My association with park started nearly 73 years ago. Despite moving away and travelling the world this is my favourite and best park ever

Been visiting since I was a kid. Hasn't changed a lot and is always a peaceful place to sit down at to watch the birds on the pond bit. Small park for kids and a quaint patch of green for playing Bowls. I say "birds", because the biggest change has to be the inclusion of seagulls, when it used to be mainly ducks, gueese and pigeons.
