It's a fabulous place but is often spoilt by the irresponsible people who refuse to clear up after themselves. Saying that they have a marvelous army of volunteers

A small but pleasant park. Good for short stroll, walk of the dog or just to sit and enjoy some peace. Usually quiet. A play park at bottom for kids. Some nice flower beds at top. A scenic short cut through to port sunlight from Bebington village.

A fabulous house with lovely original furniture and exquisite paintings Gainsborough Van Dyke and many more..incredible Spencers could hold on to this collection for so many years and not sell them off...a very peaceful place by the lake where Princess Diana is buried on the island in the middle...seats around so you can sit contemplate and pay your respects beside a lovely memorial installed by Charles Soencer her brother....a lovely day in this beautiful property well worth visiting

Situated in lower Benington Mayer park is a lovely small park with a small kids play area. A small of wildlife such as squirrels & birds are happy to come close if ya have some crumbs, seeds for them. Not a lot of parking around the entrance sites but in the residential roads you may get lucky and grab a spot if the residents don’t catch you

Lovely clean park, and congratulations must go to the volunteers who keep this place so spic and span. Lots of paths, play area, and generally just a nice place to walk. Apologies to anyone who saw me on the day, with my 4 barking chihuahuas (they weren't all barking, and not all mine these days, but it was mother, son and 2 daughters). I don't use this often enough, and live very locally.

Used to be great place to go for a quick walk sadly over the past year or so local young chavs are spoiling it for everyone.

Daughter loves the playground, she goes quite often. There's picnic tables and seating scattered about there, Is dog friendly has a little maze for the kids to do and some nice well maintained footpaths for walks.

Great park, always seems to be kept clean for the children to play and has picnic benches as well as benches to sit on. Has lots of equipment to play on and offers a lovely walk round the rose gardens also

Lovely park, interesting buildings and history. Good for train spotters, dog walkers and shroom aficionados in the Autumn months.

Nice park, could do with a tidy up in places bit neglected. Lots of kids hurting themselves on the roundabout very busy

This Park has a very active Friends Group who are restoring the Knott Garden, they also look after all the flower beds. They were responsible for the refurbishment of the Kid's Play Area and some of the paths. Mayer Park started life as The Library Walks in 1870 over time it became known as Mayer Park after Joseph Mayer who built the park on what was farm land belonging to a building built in 1716 on the site that he converted into a Free Library hence its name Library Walks. He gave the park to the Community via the Mayer Trust on his death in 1886.

Quiet of an evening time so ideal for letting your dog off the lead and letting it run round and chase its ball and do what dogs do. Nice well kept park
