Love Victoria park, we walk our dog in it every day.lots of squirrels to throw nuts too and birds to see. Nice paths to walk on as well as a play area, tennis courts and foot ball pitches. Great for the family.

Brilliant park! It has everything really. Good for dog walking on the big field. Beautiful flower gardens and tress. Little hidden areas. Really good childrens playground. The football pitch needs some work to even out the ground near goalposts and fence needs repairing too. Little path right way round with exercise stations. Could do with a few more maybe. Has concrete football pitches and basketball courts and tennis courts which are great for summertime.

"Vicky Park" ?? I know Vicky very well, it's clean, it's green, and a place to be seen. There's footy pitches if your into it, there's a nice stroll to have for the young lovers hand-in-hand, it is fortunately 'aired', the Mersey estuary two short streets away . It's Free. Boasting some of finest Crown green bowling anywhere. The trees nicely matured showing some skilful husbandry is an arboreal delight and offers shady shadows to play hide and seek. The children's play area needs only the sunshine to lift it to another dimension the older children - things for them too - Tennis Courts, there are around four of them. All in all, ",Vicky Park" is a Pleasure Treasure, and good for a picnic too.

Lovely park, something for everyone, lots to offer but could do with more community gardening space. Personally I'd expand it up to the marine gardens, rebuild all the houses and plant many more trees. Would prefer 24 hour access with appropriate security. Ideally relocate Crosby portal underground x

Great place for a stroll on a sunny day. Loads of different types of birds and quite a few squirrels. Bats at the right time of the evening too. Decent kids playground and some open fields. Lovely place.

A bit ragged and bland in places. Grass not cut regularly and shrubs not well tended. Very few flowers or flowering shrubs. Lots of borders are full of weeds and brambles ( in addition to the area which has been purposely left overgrown to attract insects) Large area which used to be bowling greens is fenced off and locked and inaccessible . Ok for walking dogs and the childrens play area is good. There are also beautiful trees .Shame the effort spent on Victoria park / Rotten Row in Southport is not mirrored here. It's ok but could be a lovely park.

Victoria park is a lovely park to walk round. Take a picnic. People always pass the time of day. Great if a dog owner. Dogs must be kept on lead unless in designated dog park which is fenced and gated so secure.

It's a really nice park with a well used and very useful dog cage for off lead exercise and play.

A really lovely park, though with a seemingly odd obsession with fenced off areas. Lol. It’s open and large enough for a number of different activities, making it a great spot for the whole community. We sat and enjoyed lunch, and even in Winter it was a great space to sit and enjoy

  • 3/5 Mark P. 3 years ago on Google
Needs looking after. It could be beautiful if the council could be bothered to keep it up.

  • 3/5 Lesley L. 3 years ago on Google
Only one area safe for dogs which was occupied by a family with children who had chained the gates shut behind them, so nowhere for any other dogs to run free.

👍 It's just a small pond where you can feed the ducks from the pavemnet through the railings but it's enjoyable and the ducks are usually there. We also spotted some terrapins there.
