The recently opened McDonald's is an unnecessary addition which is causing queues of traffic across the retail park which now feels claustrophobic and over developed. Do we really need so many fast food outlets?

i use Marks and Spencer food outlet here-but now have trouble getting a taxi there and back (I am disabled). the taxi drivers say they have been fined (via camera) for dropping passengers off and picking them up. Even though this only takes around 3 minutes and the taxis are pre ordered. They used to stop by the side of M and S but apparently this is no longer allowed-and there is no other safe place. The carpark itself would be too confusing as to where the taxi would find you? Why is this happening? There also needs to be a coffee shop in this retail park-over Christmas the M and S cafe was shut as they wanted the space to sell Christmas things-this meant there was absolutely no where to meet anyone, or have a rest. The only two toilets are within Aldi and M and S-one day BOTH were shut. This is ridiculous in a huge retail park!!! It is making it very difficult for anyone using taxis, elderly or with an illness, or children i assume to shop there.

Please all be very careful about the parking restrictions in place. SmartPark will still fine you £100 if you stay for 3hrs+ even if you are a legitimate gym user or shopper.

Descent shopping experience but parking is a nightmare and it takes about 3 days to get out of the car park. Going to be worse now with the addition of a drive through Maccies

Retail park has wonderful stores, such as M & S, B & Q, Halford’s etc. Parking facilities are quite good for the visitors. Location is also quite good.

Getting on to the park is easy getting off a different story needs another exit

  • 4/5 Sandra j. 1 year ago on Google
Great for free parking. Decent size Home Bargain, M&S foodhall, Aldi, 2 carpet shops and pets at home. Largest retailer is very large B&Q warehouse. 24 hour gym at end of row with large car park at rear

Shops are good but trying to leave is a nightmare, taking at least 30 minutes to leave the carpark. Needs a good look at the parking situation.

This is ideal when coming off the motorway, you have Aldi, M&S, Home Bargains and Pet Store. So got all I wanted and only had to walk a short way to each shop.

In serious need of, and long overdue a one way system and better traffic control. Despite wanting to shop at many of the great stores here the traffic issues on the poorly thought out car park make it somewhere to avoid.

This place is very busy on the weekend and needs another Access or exit for vehicles. The additional McDonald's will only make the area more likely to be congested. Crossing points need improvement and In appropriate places.

Plenty of shops here, although there is a few empty units. You've got flooring, DIY, Aldi, M&S food, Home bargains and a gym. Free parking for a limited time. Presently far end of B&Q carpark been dug up and renewed or built on, not sure which.

A great variety of shops but its on a cramped site, parking wise and could be much better planned. Often queues at the exit. It's pretty clean though. No litter.

  • 3/5 Alison K. 9 months ago on Google
Parking is atrocious. Road surface is terrible. Will be worse once McDonald's opend. Accidents will happen regularly. Great choice of shops though

  • 2/5 Kev J. 10 months ago on Google
The shops here are fine no problems. The problem is getting in and out of the car park! You can spend anything from 10mins to 30mins just trying to navigate your way around. There is even more bad news on the way. Soon a new burger place will be built and the chaos will ten fold.

Car park a bit of a disaster area. Speed bumps are too agressive and the whole site has clearly not been designed for ease of entry and egress. Some good shops here so a shame. Update: carpark has been improved!

Local retail park with Aldi, M&S, B&Q and other stores building a new McDonald's in the car park. Only problem is the security cameras dont work as i asked for footage as someone crashed into my car and left and got told there not working by security guard

Got everything that one needs from curtain rings to brake pads and everything in-between ...you are certainly not Up the Junction here !! It is a veritable oasis and never fails to amaze with its diversity ...another thing that never fails to amaze me is the fact that people still pay 20 quid for a bottle of Rioja in M+S but Aldi sells superior wine at a fraction of that ...its nice to know that snobbery is alive and kicking in the North End but like a wise old seagull the Big Issue seller knows which shop to stand outside 😉

Retail Park is very well located. Housed with major stores such as B & Q, Halfords, Home Bargains, M & S Food, etc. Ample parking spaces are always available. Had experience of shopping some cleaning goods for vehicle from Halfords and some plants from B & Q. It was wonderful.👍🏻

Very busy place sometimes hard to find a parking space but it does have a good selection of shops in a small area definitely worth a visit.

Since the Ronnie's has been built this place is absolute chaos. The car park designer needs jailing. Used to be a handy place with MaS BQ home bargains all etc. Now it's just a traffic jam nightmare

  • 2/5 Rob Q. 3 months ago on Google New
There are a great choice of shops here but it's just too busy, bordering on dangerous. I can't believe they have built a McDonald's here without improving traffic entrances and exits. It was busy enough before.

Lots of free parking. I never have difficulty finding somewhere to park. Great for food shopping, pet shopping, DIY and bike/car repair

Good retail park. Not very big, but good selection of shops.

Plenty of parking and a great variety of shops! M&S foodhall is very good and closer for me than Cheshire Oaks one!

Great selection of shops , car park layout is annoying though nightmare to get in and out when it's busy

  • 5/5 Doe 2 years ago on Google
Good choice of shops for such a small retail park. M & S, Aldi, Home Bargains, Pets at home are just a few. You could get everything you need here and free parking.

  • 5/5 John M. 1 year ago on Google
Ample parking , wide and varied range of shops offering excellent service.

Always friendly people, no matter which store we go in. Today, it was B&Q. Plenty of parking space outside, not at all crowded, although not many people were wearing masks. Ever such a helpful guy served us on the Valspar counter to get my paint. Friendly, chatty and efficient. Great to see the B & Q charities on the go ... we caved and bought cake, but all in a good cause! Then coffees would have been easy to grab n go from right outside the door too. Good experience all round 🤗

Good range of shops. Always busy, can be a bit of a pain to navigate the car park. There is only one entrance/exit to the carpark so it can get quite congested.

An Oasis for Shoppers and Shopping 🛍. The M&S Food Hall is absolutely 💯 % perfect. It's a must return for me and my wife! Can't wait for Christmas!

  • 3/5 Sophia B. 1 year ago on Google
Like most retail parks, it's fairly comprehensive but without clothing stores. However this has to be the worst configuration of exit/entrance and parking I have ever encountered (with the exception of a Tesco store in Chelmsford, Essex). It's bordering on dangerous in my opinion, and for that reason we only go there when we absolutely have to.

Bidston Moss retail Park is pretty decent with a reasonable variety of food/homeware/carpet/Halfords and DIY places. No entertainment for kids mind and no electricals, although you have a 24 hrs Tesco nearby

Halfords store is a must for all your motoring needs, always call here for my car polish and the odd parts and spares, good trade prices also.

Best avoided. They employ an over zealous parking company. Beware. Land owners need to be more responsible with who they contract for parking enforcement. Have a look at the reviews for Smart Parking in Birmingham. Shocking.

Fab. Great shops, lots of parking. Easy access to Motorway, close to giant Tesco Extra. Love the Home Bargains and M&S Food especially.

This is a excellent retail park has everything you need , only bug Bear is the parking and layout of lanes , especially near the sports direct ,you need eyes in back of head

  • 1/5 Alan M. 1 year ago on Google
Good/useful shops but nothing special. Is a group of retailers that happen to located next to each other a retail 'park'?

  • 5/5 Paul J. 1 year ago on Google
Proper get what you need shop pay a bit more but like to support local businesses great shop

  • 4/5 Kevin M. 1 year ago on Google
Ample parking varied business's but mainly B&Q, ALDI, M&S AND CARPETRIGHT and more.

  • 4/5 Jabbra 1 year ago on Google
Nice selection of shops, decent amount of parking spaces. Could possibly do with a place to eat besides the little breakfast van parked outside of B&Q (which is fine, but could do with a family restaurant, preferably not a McDonald's)

  • 3/5 Steve K. 1 year ago on Google
Some good shops available but facilities are a bit of a hazard. No toilets are here. Parking at the outside laundry will get you a parking ticket. You'll get an expensive parking ticket if you are there over 3 hours. Hurry up around the shops and go to the toilet before you visit.

I never wondered that a retail park would be ingrained in memory as being nonsensical - but a 1hr traffic jam with disgruntled old women with deathstares says otherwise. It is scarred in my memory that I had been stuck in this car park for at least a hour queueing with many others to get out. It is truly the British way to queue, and Christmas peak shopping taught me that. Many thanks J1 retail park for the experience.

This centre has something for everyone. From car enthusiast, home builders or contractors. Especially those busy ladies needing to keep the homes on the move. All shops seem to gave very helpful staff so it is a pleasure to spend an afternoon here ending with some tea at M & S.
