The view from the tables outside of the bar. A Stena line boat came up the Mersey.

Really good place for entertainment and food! Would definitely recommend it for a night out or to bring kids! It is an ideal location as it is a neighbouring area to places dedicated to entertainment

This is a great place, Right on the corner and embankment or promenade of "New Brighton"!! At the entrance to the "Mersey" river, wonderfull views of Liverpool!! Easy "FREE" parking, easy access to all amenities, (especially for families, prams, wheelchairs, the disabled and elderly)!! Lots of restaurants, "Burger King, Prezzo, etc," also a big "Morrisons" supermarket store and a "Travelodge" hotel!! Great promenade walk and for cycling from Seacombe Ferry to West Kirby"!! Easy access to a great beach!! Easy access to public transport, buses, taxi's etc, (and "New Brighton" train station is approximately 200 metres away)!!! Highly Recommended!!

I am Ukrainian, I have been in England for almost a month. This is the second time in the Marino Lounge restaurant. Everything is delicious. Good service. The view from the window is magnificent.

Lovely place to sit and plenty of resteraunts to tempt your palette. Once you have eaten you can then walk around the lake or down the Ian Fraser Walk. Plenty of room to cycle or skate. Plus free parking!!!! Watch out for the waves splashing over the wall, when the sea is rough.

Has plenty of eateries and restaurants right by the port. Was waiting for a taxi and needed the toilet but had a coke and sat inside. The deals on food and drinks on the menu looked really good and had good value

Great place to meet friends, always enjoy my coffee, toast and a biscuit. Ice cream available and plenty to choose from.

Great day out plenty for the kids like the fair, arcades, beach and fort, also lifeguards on the beaches so very safety conscious there's a marina, shops and plenty of places to eat if you don't fancy sandwiches

Actually came to visit the Floral Pavilion, not to visit the retail park. We parked on King's Parade, which is free, and walked down to Prezzo for a great Italian meal before the show.

Hate it we were a seaside town for years with lots of things to do, beautiful baths, pier, tower ( larger than Blackpool) and tower ball room. Lots of things for families to do. Instead we have empty buildings our council do nothing to help bring day trippers back. Business are pulley out right left and center.

Nice retail area right on the sea front, some empty units but still plenty of restaurants to choose from.

Various eateries, cinema and supermarket. Marino Lounge is a lovely café that allows dogs, has cheerful staff and nice food.

For £3. as a set meal deal, Morrison offers a really good choice of sandwiches, drinks and snacks. There is a Travel Lodge that faces the sea front and one of this days may try out. The place is literally a great hub with franchise eateries to try out. It has a club nearby, a movie house so entertainment and amusement centers are available for the lively spirited crowd. Me, my choice is to walk endlessly on the beach and coast.

Pretty much what you would expect from a sea side resort type place there is a turkish restaurant Ayla which was very good

A pleasant place to while away some spare moments in the sunshine on the wide promenade, and watch the world pass by. I arrived by train (a couple of minutes walk away), but there is also a large car park serving the big Morrison's supermarket, a Costa and a B&M.

Nice place. Not too busy. We used the coffee shop, then had a good walk round. The grandchildren took their hover boards and had a whale of a time.

Had a lovely time with my 2 year old daughter today. She loved the smaller play areas and the big play area also. The food here is really good too. I had the pepperoni pizza and my daughter had sausage, chips and beans. We will definitely be back

Great shopping and eating all set handy to each other, bus stop outside and train station just up road. Beach right next too, park up the road with regular concerts and events also great theatre, over the road. Silly Wetherspoons pulled out!

That's just for the location and breathtaking walks you can have from here. After your walk, head to Morrison's Cafe's for a snack or Costa Coffee, next door. Before you head home try Home Bargains and Iceland or Morrison's for your shopping. It makes a great change to your normal shopping nearer to home; wherever you travel from and it's a mini holiday all in one day. Bring your plastic and spend.

We were not happy that thete were so many dogs allowed In. Who wants to eat their meal, surrounded by dogs Also it must be a health and hygiene problem. Dogs scratching, etc. Aaaggghhh HATED IT. Ruined a beautiful restaurant. We won't recommend it.

Just spent the afternoon at New Brighton a great place for a stroll along the promenade with fantastic views of the Liverpool water front. Plenty of little café s etc to tempt you in.

Good little selection of shops if I just need to run down for something. The cafes and restaurants are nice too, been in a few of them, my favourite being the Marine Lounge. If you're here for a day out and leave something behind there's more than enough shops to get what you're looking for.

Everything you would need in a few strides, nice Travelodge with free parking too !

  • 3/5 Kirsty M. 2 years ago on Google
Helpful staff and nice menu, however strange set up to give order with one person taking order, payment and pouring drinks therefore bit of a wait to order food. This may have been covid related/staff shortage though. All in all nice night.

If you're visiting New Brighton this is where to go for food, take out, Costa or Starbucks. Being so close to the front is great to get food for the beach. Don't park here tho as it's always really busy and you could spend more time looking for a space and walking in from outside.

Highly recommend the new Batman film. Patterson excels were we thought he would bomb. He totally nails it and shows his versatility as an actor. The 3 hours are warranted and if you are luck you will receive a free poster and witness the arrival of one of the films actual police cars on site. The girl that served us was awesome with her bat/cat ears and very helpful. My Son really deserved a good night out and he wasn't disappointed.

Was lovely meal but 2 of the orders were wrong but other than that was nice for a meal after the arcades for a few hours with the kids

We were here for a 3 day break from Stafford and they have so many places to eat round there. We chose the seahorse twice. Both times it was very busy but the service was excellent and the food was delicious.

Went to try The Opera beamed up live from London. Cinema was phenomenal. Staff were amazing. Helped all the way, carried my Oxygen to my seat. Fabulous. Auntie was in 7th Heaven. I decided, I'm sorry, but I don't like Opera! Yuk!

Visited here just after the refurb (slightly delayed review) the refurbishment has really opened the areas up and looks really good. The place was packed when we went (glad we booked) even though it was busy the wait for our large table was more then reasonable. The food was great, also the added bonus the kids meals come out first which really is appreciated as a parent.

Very slow service. Fish tasted like it had been under heat lamps too long. Barman fantastic service and very good allergen menu to help you choose if you download Greene King app

A nice place for a visit' lots of shops to look around and nice long promenade to stroll along with various street food from all corners of the world to sample' very cosmopolitan well worth a day out there' lots of free parking but very crowded I think it's new in the area' recommend it.

Took a trip to the light recently, it's our go too cinema 🎥 The area definitely needs a restaurant like TGI Fridays or Nandos... so many have laid routes there and made a successful business which is great but there's still a few units that for what ever reason the business don't last and they lay there empty. Other than that great place to be in the summer or winter really. Nice to visit... busy in the summer but things like the toilets and areas are still kept clean.. keep a look out for any events in the area like car shows or food huts etc

A very good collection of shops. Can get all types of products from groceries to trinkets and a coffee shop . All reasonably priced. I would recommend for shopping and as a place to launch days out. Various amenities including a fun fair locally.

Visited Marine Cafe bar. Excellent tapas menu, including separate gluten free menu, friendly staff. Tables cleared and sanitised as soon as they became empty. Good value.
