So
Wimpy
located
in
the
high
street
in
Birkenhead.
The
space
is
rough-hewn,
with
80s
tables
and
floors,
very
typical
80s
decore,
an
open
kitchen
which
isn't
producing
hardly
any
haze
.
The
restaurant
is
clean
and
there
arn't
no
smells
deeply
rendering
beef
fat.
The
food
is
served
once
again
using
80s
dinner
wear.
It’s
all
good
old
proper
Wimpy
as
how
I
remember
my
last
visit
to
one
in
the
early
90s.
The
restaurant
is
located
in
a
rather
rough
area
but
this
is
forgivable
because
the
burgers
are
fairly
good.
Indeed,
I’d
mark
them,
with
the
five
gold
stars.
The
wimpy
beef
isn’t
overly
minced
still,
and
they
prefer
to
serve
them
medium-rare,
which
is
quite
laudable,
I
had
there
new
chili
burger
today
at
a
price
of
£6.50.
topped
with
bacon,
onions,
ginger
and
chili
sauce
mayo,
ketchup
and
fresh,
crisp
leaves
of
baby
gem,
and
sliced
tomatoes,
which
are
there
to
give
the
impression
that
this
might
be
healthy
eating
lol
On
the
side:
I
had
a
portion
of
there
fries
which
were
nothing
remarkable
but
filled
a
hole
Thankfully
there
is
not
a
brioche
bun
within
site,
but
a
proper
white
burger
bun
which
holds
the
burger
together
for
about
half
the
eating
time,
but
that’s
OK.
By
that
point
you
already
have
half
the
sauce
down
your
shirt
and
your
forearms,
and
our
desperately
looking
for
more
napkins
as
the
one
they
give
you
is
my
only
negative
as
it's
pitiful
