A mixed experience, but on the whole not a good one. First of all, you're reminded as you walk in, (providing you see the sign), it's card only payment. Service was poor, long wait between courses and 2 of the 5 main meals were delayed by 15 minutes! I'd almost finished mine by the time they arrived. It's basically fresh and salty food. No other way to explain it. So it tastes fine, but i like salty food. One of the four different waiters that served us tried hard and was very pleasant, the others just got things wrong. It's also quite annoying to have a bigger party arrive 20 minutes after you and you see they get served first.

We ate lunch 🍝 here today. Although it was busy and we didn't book in advance, Chris who greeted 😊 us at reception seated us right away. Our party of 6 included children. We ordered starters and mains for the adults and stuff from the children's menu 🍕 for the kids. Our drinks🍹and food arrived within a reasonable amount of time. Chris and Kieran were very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. Over the years we've eaten 🍨 here so many times and have thoroughly enjoyed every visit. The food 😋 is always tasty, the views are scenic 🏖️ and we love the relaxed atmosphere.

Called in for food and drinks on the hottest day of the year with my partner and our toddler, and the service was shocking. After 10 minutes of waiting for our drinks we had to ask the waitress to get them off the bar, mains came out quick but we ended up just paying the bill and leaving after waiting 20 minutes for dessert,that was nowhere to be seen. The place wasn’t even full. Won’t be returning again.

Visited on 27th December for a Sunday lunch. Booked a 'Set Menu ' lunch online. Arrived early but that was no problem as only one table was occupied. Served with drinks quite quickly and orders taken. Garlic bread with caramelised onions and balsamic vinegar, and breaded Mozzarella bites for starters. Both very chewy . We shared both plates as one person eating 4 of those bites on their own you would be chewing forever! Spaghetti Carbonara and Calbrase burger. Both of the mains were very nice. The burger with the smoked prosciutto bacon added was beautiful. Both had Tiramasu for dessert . Tasted very dry and needed maybe a little bit of vanilla ice cream as an accompaniment. All in all not a bad lunch. Service was good and covid regulations adhered to as in toilet access and exit /entrance procedure also.

First meal out since lockdown was eased. Staff went out if their way to explain new 'normal'. Friendly staff. Excellent service and gorgeous food.

Called in for a meal with my wife in October 2021. Greeted with a very warm welcome from the staff, and especially Chris our waiter who was friendly and very helpful with the menu making some excellent recommendations. The restaurant was clean and safely laid out with a good amount of space between tables; with staff wearing masks and lots of sanitizer available. We didn’t feel rushed at any point, and the atmosphere was relaxed and really made for a good dining experience. The menu offered a good choice and was priced as you’d expect. I went for the calzone (my go-to when in Italian styled venues) and it was one of the best I’ve had – very flavoursome, a good size with lots of filling, and all the ingredients well prepared. We couldn’t fit in pudding, but several items looked very appealing. Also thanks to the above-and-beyond service from Chris, I’m also looking to hold my work’s Christmas party there! Would highly recommend, and we will be visiting again.

Visited the new brighton restaurant today. Had a lovely afternoon sat outside with my Dog. All the Staff where lovely and friendly, the food was tasty, I ordered lasagna and garlic bread, and meatballs for Mollie 😂.... Their tiramisu is gorgeous if you can make room.

Very nice restaurant!!! Great menu, (just as you would expect, see pictures), very well laid out, great views across to Liverpool with outside seating and dining area's!!! Easy access, especially for disabled, elderly etc, and there are "disabled toilets" (apologies, easy access toilets now)!!!🤣🤣🤣🤣!!! Staff are very friendly, welcoming, professional and nothing is to much trouble (they do not rush you)!!!!! We went for lunch, we had the "2 main course lasagne", with side order of garlic bread and green salad" to share, "Excellent"!! (One thing stands out, that I noticed, Excellent - "cleanliness"!!! It is very clean, (especially the toilets) and tables/chairs are cleared and cleaned very quickly)!!! Highly Recommended!!

I used to come here as a first choice before Covid, it was then outstanding. However the menu has degraded since then. One of my favourites was the belly pork which was superb, that's not been on menu for ages. Another was the chicken, bacon & avocado salad. It used to be tossed in an amazing mustard dressing & the bacon was small chunks freshly cooked. The one I had the other day was awful, a dry salad, with thin strips of dry wispy Italian style bacon, like wood shavings. I opted for a new sweet being a cherry/chocolate Sunday which was a disgrace, I expected a tall glass with ice-cream, cherries & cream (a proper Sunday), what I got were two scoops of chocolate ice-cream topped with spray cream & one cherry in a horrible SMALL metal dish. On asking the waitress where the cherries were she went away & came back with another SMALL metal dish with four cherries (tinned) in it. One of my friends had the same desert, he didn't get any extra cherries! I won't be going back for a very long time.

We've been here numerous times and we're never disappointed with the food, always lovely and great choices. Daughter is coeliac and this has great options, even a garlic bread which is normally hard to find for her. Lovely meals all round. Good atmosphere. Only downside that continues to bug me is they don't accept cash. If the food wasn't that nice, I'd give my business elsewhere.

Absolutely outstanding food and service. Penne Arrabbiata paired with a pint of peroni was excellent. Honeycomb smash cheesecake was delicious too. Staff incredibly friendly. Definitely coming back!

Look at these mozzerella bites! Aren’t they beautiful? I don’t normally leave reviews for big chain restaurants but this was a most pleasant experience. The quality of the food was of course top class, as it usually is at Prezzo. I only had snack items, but my friends found the spaghetti bolognaise simply delightful. A lovely, personable man called Josh greeted my friends and me at the door and his exquisite service throughout was most agreeable. One of us had a specific adjustment that needed to be made and he did so with no quarrel or gripe. His attractive face was as equally matched as his attractive manner. There was another charming lady who came over at one point, but one can’t remember what she said, as we were rather enamoured by Josh.

Food was excellent and the servers were very friendly and engaging particularly with my 9yr old boy. Reasonably busy for a lunch time but it didn't detract from the experience. Also been to Cheshire Oaks, unfortunately the staff there weren't as accomodating although the food was still good

Visited on a Sunday evening and it wasn't very busy. I have a food allergy and I found the staff to be really helpful and knowledgeable about the food they served. The service was a little slow but our party wasn't in a hurry. The food was delicious and all our party enjoyed it. Would definitely recommend.

Took my grandsons for lunch. The children's menu is excellent for £6.95. I had the carbonara which was dry and salty. I definitely needed more sauce. Otherwise OK.

Absolutely appalling service. We waited an hour and a half for our main meal after asking twice when it would be coming. The response was just a few minutes. Then one of the meals never arrived as it hadn't even been ordered but no apology received. In the end I refused the main meal as it had been 1 hour and 45 minutes without our main. The manager is an absolute joke to say the least. After 45 minutes of the starter plates just sitting on the table she asked did we want our bill...we hadn't had any mains. When I paid I said to the 'manager' this service has been appalling to which she stared at me blankly and answered with a sorry. No offer of a discount. Clearly the staff need some training on interpersonal skills either that or they're all just dimwits. The management definitely needs looking at as with her attitude they won't be getting any returning customers. You get better table service in a play centre.

Had a lovely meal with family and we all enjoyed our meals. I will We were served by Chris who was very professional and helpful and took our meal and drinks order. Drinks arrived very quickly followed by meals that were hot and delicious. On leaving it was pouring with rain and they offered us a poncho each that was much appreciated.

First visit. Great location. Parked in the Morrisons car park. After a stroll along the promenade, we decided to grab a bite. Staff were polite and friendly. With the Taste card, its 2 for 1 on all dishes, starters, mains and desserts but not sides. We ordered a lasagne, king prawn linguine, chicken, bacon avocado salad and a carbonara shared between the three of us. We also shared a large bottle of Perrier. Food tasted ok, we liked the lasagne the best. It was Friday lunch time, not too busy. Only downside is, there's no seating outside. Unisex toilets, accessible disabled toilets.

Great to arrive as a walk in guest to be seated for 3 of us at a peak time, friendly welcome and fast to provide drinks of your choice, word of advice, the kids portions from the 3 course are alot ( spaghetti Bolognese) for a 5 year old. Could easily split between 2kids. Will visit again when in the area.

Yesterday. Ate there, eventually, after over 90 minute wait. Not told anything about wait or lack of staff in kitchen when shown to table. We were group of 6 with 2 young children. The food when it came, was good except one pasta dish nearly cold. It's owner still ate it because not want to wait any longer. Told staff and cost of meal removed from bill. We had no starters and lost the will to order desserts. Suggest if dining there ASK IF STAFFING ISSUES AND SERVICE TIME FOR MEALS ARRIVING

The waiter working outside said that they accept bookings only and didn’t offer us to make a reservation online, or any other options. So when we were about to go to another place, we decided to check online for the availability and it was available(: we came back, and the waiters inside were really friendly, and gave us a table even though we came in a little bit earlier. The restaurant wasn’t busy(even after 2 hours of us being there it’s still wasn’t busy), so that’s why we were surprised by the waiter from outside saying that they accept bookings only. When me and my friend the same ordered a pasta with smoked salmon, mine looked and tasted completely different from hers, and was disgusting…however the waiter was really nice and offered to make a new one, but I had a dessert instead which was really delicious, as well as the garlic bread and burgers! Thank you Richard and a guy who gave us a table and was really friendly for your amazing service 🫶🏼 10 stars for you!!!

With the allowance of the hot weather and the expectation of a wait; staff service was poor today. We waited 5 minutes to be seated, a further 30 minutes for our prdwr to be taken and another 30 minutes for the food to arrive. The food was what has earned the one star review as this cannot be faulted. Again the waiting started....we had to ask after 15 - 20 minutes before I asked the plates to be cleared, at which point the restaurant had quietened down. Again, once desserts were finished we had to ask for the plates to be cleared and the waiter decided that an empty table being cleaned was more important than customers. A poor experience and even when trying to give an exception for the weather the service and experience was less than desirable.

A lovely restaurant we were a party of 5 adults and two exceptionally well-behaved little ones aged 2 and 3. The waiters were attentive, and the food was excellent. It was freshly cooked and brought to the table straight away.

Great staff; friendly efficient welcome. The place was busy, but our drinks order was taken and delivered quickly. Pizza is always good here - even the gluten free version. Service with a smile!....

We stopped here for dinner at the weekend after visiting other areas on the Wirral. Although it was busy and we didn't book in advance, we were greeted and seated right away. Our party of four included two children. We ordered starters, mains and desserts for the adults, and items from the children's menu. Our drinks and food arrived quickly. Our waitress was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. The food was delicious, the waterfront views scenic, and we enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere - however, the noise levels rose to unbearable levels to hold a civilised conversation when the restaurant was at capacity. Perhaps some soft furnishings or other acoustic treatments could be applied? All in all, it was a lovely dining experience.

Food and service were good although we had to wait 5 mins for a table that was already empty. They do have outside seating and nice view across the river. Still better than expected and nice cocktails mostly prosseco based.

We went here as a family to enjoy the offer of eat out to help out.. Unfortunately it was not the best experience we had had. 2 ordered to King prawn spaghetti which was at best 4/10.my starter was the cheese in breadcrumb 4 pieces with a tomato dip at best 4/10it was edible. If we had paid full price it would of been £33.00 which would of been a shocker because of portion size quality and taste. Later in the evening the King prawn decided it wanted to make an appearance in the way of vomiting and diarrhoea. We contacted the manager and are waiting for a reply to see if anyone else contracted it if not then its tough luck 😳

Very disappointed with both the service and quality of food. Service itself was very slow...and after being asked if we needed a few minutes to order our food, we were then ignored for around 15 minutes before we could actually order with someone else. The food itself was bland...the Bolognese was plain...I've had nicer tasting ready meals...and the portion size was laughable. There was the same amount in the child portion of Bolognese as there was in the adult portion. We then had to call someone over again to remind them to bring out our deserts. I was expecting so much more but definitely won't be going again.

Fantastic and delightful food, I like the atmosphere the spot has, and the workers were very nice. Will definitely visit here next time.

we booked our table over a week ago and when we arrived we were told that our table was not ready and there was a backlog of bookings, so we were asked to wait outside in the rain . l was very dissatisfied with the lack of empathy considering there was a thunderstorm imminent !!! thank you prezzo for making my first meal out as a family after lockdown a nightmare
