My husband and myself have been a couple of times now and we really like it. The food is excellent, lots of it and very well priced. The staff are brilliant. Nothing is too much trouble for any of them. Yesterday we had Issy looking after us - what an absolute delight she was. Professional, courteous, helpful and never stopped smiling.

Ordered online, quick pick up. Collected on time. We were given additional pigs in blankets. However the meat was left off our order. I rang, lovely lady on till spoke to the kitchen who said the meat was put on.....This was inaccurate. There was no meat and I was given a full refund which was good. However, I was angry the chef disputed this but once the meal is home its difficult to prove. Due to packaging it is difficult to check before you leave. Would not order from here again. The veg and gravy was good, and I accept people make mistakes but the chef made me feel like a fraud.

Simply outstanding personal service from greeting through table service and payment... ALL the 7 or so staff I interacted with were absolutely professional. They explained the system after asking had we been here before... Food (meat free carvery) was hot, fresh and flavorful. A welcome change in the UK. Highly recommended..👍

Slow queue, our vegetarian dish came to the table then we had to queue up and get the rest while that went cold. Rest was lovely though and good value for money, especially during the week. Staff friendly but very busy on a Sunday as expected.

My first carvery in almost two years due to Covid, and this was my first visit to TC Arrowe. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the food was delicious. I had a king size carvery, and I put as much food on my plate as possible. We both enjoyed our meals, and my girlfriend had room for crumble and custard (I was too full). We'll be back

Went for a family meal, was appalled by all the staff being miserable and full of attitude, the food was not cooked properly and the mash was not mashed up properly with chunks, lumps and slices of potatoes in it. The whole experience was shocking and off putting. Could not finish our meals due to poor quality but still charged full price. Management really needs to sort issues out 😕

The food was exceptional. The meat from the Carvery was in abundance, was excellently cooked, presented and a fantastic choice. Roast potatoes were scrumptious and vegetables were cooked to perfection. The staff were so attentive, polite and efficient. The cost of the Carvery is such a brilliant deal considering the service and quality of the food. My wife and I have now become ‘Toby Carvery Regulars’. Excellent! Well done!!

Nice meal although despite our booking being at 7:00pm there was only Turkey available, I understood from the chef carving the breast, that it was the last one available. Maybe it was a particularly busy evening but I'm glad I hadn't made an 8:00pm booking otherwise I would have gone hungry.

The tables were dirty. There was only 2 meats on when we arrived. Pork and turkey. Not mine and my wife’s choice, so was very disappointed. No explanation why. Paid our money and had to make do. Carvery is all about choice of meat so no excuses there. If I known about the meat situation I would of went somewhere else waste of £30

Took my family as they wanted to go, but 100% know why I don't normally eat there. Cold mushy vegetables that all taste the same, fatty cuts of meat. Tables were sticky as was the floor, that also not only needed a hoover, but needed cleaning or replacing too. Grass area was unkempt. Needing cutting, was atheist 1ft high. I won't be going back. Went to the "Golden M' for desert.

Proper good portion of meat and they offered an extra roast potato at no extra charge because they were a little bit small. All the food was fresh 👍👍👍 and I used a £10 off when you spend £25 voucher🌞 the beer garden is huge and has lots of space in the Sun or under an umbrella.

The setting Ng was extremely busy which is to be expected for Sunday lunch time. We met up with other family who had also booked a table and instead of the two booth that were reserved for us we were offered two tables in closer proximity which we appreciated at the time. Our orders were taken at the table for both food and drinks, on arrival of the drinks we were advised we could go to the carvery when we were ready. The queue seemed long but the service was efficient. On returning to our table we had no cutlery or serviettes and had to go hunting for them. Family members on the other table had the same experience and asked a waitress for cutlery but she never returned with any and the hunt was on again. One drink was missing from the other tables delivery and when approached a waitress did supply it. However when checking the bill at home the second table was billed for a soft drink refreshment but there wasn't one. We can only assume they were charged twice for the forgotten drink on the original order. The meal was very good, the customer service left us feeling twice about returning.

Food was nice, service was rather slow but it was really busy so understandable. Asked for our table to be cleared as it was someone’s birthday and we wanted to bring a cake out for them so we asked an older man to who then advised us it’s not his “section” but there was no one there to do this for us so we asked him to anyway, he clearly wasn’t happy and didn’t give us the best service which is a shame. Ordered desert for our daughter which took half an hour to come out which again, not the best but we can appreciate it was busy but definitely more staff needed.

Choice of four meats, freshly prepared vegetables but I think I remember more vegetable options before. Peas and cauliflower had a cheese sauce. I'd have liked plain options but that's just down to taste. Generous meat portions for adults and kids. All tasty. Restaurant was clean and tidy and serving and waiting staff were helpful and friendly. Very good value with kids eating for £1.

On arrival, settled very quickly. Table was set and ready. Made very welcome and was introduced to the gentleman who would be looking after us. Very busy and had to wait. But worth it. Always makes me think is people are queuing then food must be great ❤️

Visited this restaurant a number of times and I have never been disappointed. Even at it's busiest you are served promptly. The food is lovely and the service is great. It is also very reasonably priced. I would advise to book in advance as it is very popular

I had the Sunday carvery which unfortunately I couldn't eat the beef was that rubbery you couldn't chew it and it was full of fat. All the veg was luke warm and raw the sprouts and parsnips had clearly been left to cook under the hot lamp along with the cabbage and cauliflower they were completely raw. With only a drink left to finish after returning my meal I can only say avoid this place it's not worth the drive

Food was very nice well cooked meat all served nice and hot very enjoyable. Dessert came nice and fresh and hot all worth the money staff very polite and helpful all in all very good experience would definitely come again

Considering how busy they were they served everybody very quickly and efficiently The choice of meat was excellent, the beef was a little tough and the vegetables had very little taste and needed some seasoning. The staff were very helpful and attentive. They cleared and cleaned the tables with great speed but still thorough, they need high praise for making a visit at a busy time very enjoyable.

A bit of confusion when we arrived. We weren’t told that it was table service, so I made my way to the bar to be informed that I need to go back to my seat and wait for the waitress. We weren’t told that we just had to go straight to the carvery to be served. Besides this, we had an enjoyable time. The food was delicious and plentiful, obviously, and the waitress was lovely and saw to our needs. The initial problems could have been avoided if the gentleman on the front desk had asked us whether we’d been there before. Obviously, now that we know the etiquette, we’ll be like seasoned professionals, but a bit of prying by the front desk may have avoided the confusion. We’ll definitely be visiting again.

We were a walk in of 5. Although no tables in restaurant, we were seated in the bar area. Staff were efficient, friendly and very accommodating. Excellent customer service and food was good. Thank you. We had a great night.

Food was nice even tho was not quite hot enough, Yorkshire puds seemed like microwave puds? Fast service with very good staff to service you, found seats even tho we didn't book would vist again

Gorgeous as always 4 adults and child portion including the vegetarian option which was lovely. No problem with parking. The service was friendly and supportive. Will be going again

Brilliant venue, lovely staff. Only downside was there was no breakfast gravy (been to a few for breakfast and they never seem to have it no more). Food was on point and the coffee was piping hot as usual!

For a Carvery, this place can be so up and down. However not been since before lockdown of 2020 and now in Oct 2021 it was really delicious. The food was really nice and the staff welcoming.

Gets very busy on a Sunday so if the option to book is there definitely do it. Other than that the staff are very friendly with decent value for food.

4 stars for the food been here many times no complaints very nice carvery and good to see the menu getting a bit bigger with sea bass etc only suggestion would be a steak or 2 on a Saturday couldn't see it. Drinks review I'm afraid isn't so good I would give 2 stars for drinks . Never seem to have much in the way or real ale and on today's visit the choice was John Smith's or 1 remaining bottle of doom bar, no Guinness and no real ales at all. Some people actually love real ale instead of the chemical garbage lagers the local football zombies seem to be Addicted to. Great pub and staff and girls are lovely though.

Visited on Friday Evening about 5:30 pm with my 3 children. Was met at the door and seated straight away (as we booked). We had a male waiter who was extremely pleasant and professional and engaging. Didn't seem to want to rush us and nothing seemed a bother for him, despite the place being busy. This is a very hard thing to do in hospitality and I take my hat off to him. Food was excellent and service was fast. We had had Yorkshire pudding turkey and gammon wraps which are incredibly cheap and very filling. The place is calm and relaxed and homely. It's exceptionally well priced if you are on a budget and vert family friendly. Couldn't recommend highly enough.

Great for breakfast. Selection of food was good and everything was reasonably priced.

We travelled up from mid wales to my brothers funeral staff were lovely.. Cleanliness was fab.. Good was amazing.. Worthy of more than 5 stars.

Going to a carvery as a vegan isn’t always a great experience but from start to finish it was great. The menu was good, the staff were really friendly and knowledgeable and Callum who was behind the carvery was excellent, sorted my food separately, got me some cauliflower without cheese and told me exactly what I could and couldn’t have. A brilliant experience 10/10

Requested a table for a special birthday and already told them there were 3 children and a disabled person. They allocated us seating upstairs, so when we said we couldn't have the disabled guest upstairs they put in on 3 separate tables on the other side of the bar which you had a pay up front for. In total it was for 13 people, we won't be rushing back again. *the food was nice and fresh,they were clearly understaffed but polite but it was poor execution.

Went to breakfast with Santa. Got there at 10.30 and there was very limited choice of food available. One of our party was a 3 week old baby, we just wanted to take a photo of him with Santa but we had to pay for a full breakfast for him, shame they didn't have cow and gate on the menu

Food was OK, not very hot , staff standing around talking , there glasses outside and plates , but they didn't bother to collect them. No atmosphere due to very few people around , really needs a face lift ..and some sort of air-conditioning ue to now windows being able to be opened , it was absolutely roasting in there

Visited today, quiet busy and long waits in line for carvery deck. Servers rushed and often felt forgotten mean only got asked if everything was OK once not the usual 50 millions times. To be fair they were many 50% off vouchers which increased the footfall for the business but felt it was slightly mismanaged. Carver often disappeared leaving many to wait till he turns. Apologies were given by all and thier advertising for kitchen staff may explain why carver was possibly doing many jobs at once.

Excellent service from start to finish. Greeted and welcomed us, explained the process. Helpful table staff and at the carvery. Lovely choice for a meat free roast. Great value for quality food. Many thanks.

Service from all staff was great. All carvery meals couldn't be faulted, however, myself and my mum ordered a mushroom n ale pie which arrived stone cold in the centre. Staff replaces it with fresh hot pies and issue was resolved

Booked on-line for a Buffet breakfast for 5 off us. On arriving staff were friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was great with an all you can eat menu, fresh food topped up regularly with free refills on the americano coffee. Thank you for an enjoyable morning.

The food here was very very good! Got loads of meat on the carvery, m6 plate was full and it was all delicious! The staff where also very friendly and helpful! Thank you to all the staff your service is excellent!

Amazing food and staff. Even when very busy, staff didn't miss a beat and where always attentive and polite. There is nothing I can fault about the whole experience. We where greated at the door by a amazing young lady, who seated us straight away. She came back not long later to take our orders( the place was packed full and we only waited 2/3 minutes to order, she and the other staff hardly stopped, but kept the place running clockwork). She(I forgot her name sorry) was very polite and friendly and somebody the owner should be proud to have working for them. We got the carvery, and the food was perfect. Better than some of the more expensive restaurants. If you want to have some amazing food,somewhere you can relax and enjoy a evening come here.

Fantastic! Great choice of meats and brilliant veg. I struggle with food but everything about this was superb 👌. Terrific value too. Friendly, helpful service. I will defo be returning and very highly recommended!

Amazing! The food was cooked beautifully and it was hot. Plenty of choice at the carvery and we didn’t have to wait long before being served. Lots of seating and very well organised. The staff were friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely be going back.

Although it was a really busy the service was excellent and the food was excellent . It is a number of years since we've been there but we will be going again. It was a very good experience. The only downside was the closeness of the tables.
