Absolutely loved this place . First visit here , immaculately clean , lovely spaced out tables . Staff were very attentive but not over the top , bar service to the table , we had 3 course meal for a table of 4 . All meals brought out at the same time , food presented lovely. My steak was cooked exactly how I asked and it was the nicest steak I've actually ever had. Lovely relaxed atmosphere, we will 100% return when we are next in the area. Many thanks .

Nice pub. Good food. Decent prices. Only thing is that I ordered the feta and grilled vegetable chibatta and there was a vegan option so I asked for that. All they did was take the feta off and charge me the same price. There is some decent feta options now. Maybe advertise a separate vegan sandwich if its just vegetables.

My son and I went to the Gravesberie last week. We both shared the Tomahawk steak. OMG it was amazing. The staff very friendly especially Adelle. Will definitely be returning.

A good local pub & restruant with a Premier Inn attached, classed as a Pub & Grill, under the Green King chain of pubs. Loads off off road parking right outside & all in the flat, for those less mobile. Pub has a nice atmosphere, not crowded with loads & chairs/tables, with three main areas. I ate from the Lunchtime menu, which I felt was good value for money & had a mini mixed grill which was well cooked, tasty & arrived pipping hot. Seems a good place to bring friends & family for decent food at a fair price.

Gorgeous roast dinner here, with veggie and vegan options alongside the more traditional Sunday fayre. Lovely, ambient atmosphere in the dining room. The staff squeezed us in at very short notice (thank you Sarah) and accommodated my slightly finicky veggie/vegan tinkering when ordering (thank you Sandra). All in all a very pleasant first visit and we'll definitely be back.

Staff really good zd attentive at all times . Party of 5 , all had fish and chips, was the worst fish I have ever had. Was so dry and hardly any fish . Didn't want to complain as my cousin had travelled here and was their treat to us . To be honest was embarrassed at how bad it was . My cousin and her husband stay in the hotel usually every couple of months to meet up with my dad and family. Never had such an awful fish before . Hope after reading this you improve the meal . Service was really good , unfortunately meal was not .

Whether you want just a drink and snack in the bar area, or a meal in the restaurant, this venue is great, and much improved! Lovely today sitting in the extended beer garden out front. Friendly, efficient service. Good selection of food. I especially like the lunch menu which is amazing value. Good selection of beers, wine and spirits.

Visiting family on the Wirral so first visit to the Gravesberie Inn. Seated right away and staff were pleasant enough. We ordered our meals, and they came out almost immediately , very tepid almost as if the food was kept warm under heat lamps rather than cooked to order. A lot of food was left, and even the lass who collected all the plates and bowls would have been aware of this. Took 15+ minutes to get a couple of scoops of ice cream which was amazing as 7 cooked orders came out with 10 minutes of us being seated. Shame really as we don't get up this way very often so what was meant to be a family meal turned out to be somewhat of a disappointment. Drinks and Staff were fine , just the food was lacking .

Laurence and Vicky run a cracking pub/restaurant for the Greasby/Upton locals and for visitors who stay in the adjacent Premier Inn. Well handled beer and good quality food all within a contemporary and well kept interior. The best option for food/drinks out of all the places within walking distance of Greasby!

Disappointed with food unfortunately, We ordered the chicken skewer. This was 4 unseasoned small cubes of chicken breast on a skewer mainly loaded with peppers all of which was undercooked. We also ordered the jack Daniels burger, with burnt tips. Came with one single burnt tip on the burger and the jackdaniels sauce on the burger was tasteless. Sorry but restaurant prices with poor quality pub food.

Was so glad we tried this restaurant out today. It was really great in every way. The staff are lovely and you get the feeling that they actually like working there. The venue is beautifully decorated, clean and comfortable. And the food was fantastic- everything was fresh, really tasty and beautifully presented. I had the salmon fillet and it was delicious. I could not say one negative thing about the whole experience. I will definitely be returning.

Fairly quiet afternoon yet we still had to clean our own table before we sat down... The menu is steak heavy... Which is great... Until you realise they can't cook and the majority of their menu is being sent out wrong. My well under steak (ordered medium arrived with white raw fat still present) was sub par but beef dripping decent. They came and took orders for dessert.. AGAIN didn't clear table. Leading to them sitting out desserts on the table opposite us when they arrived while they removed enough dishes to put our desserts down. Not quite all the dishes, just enough to fit the puddings. It's a nice enough place I can only presume they're staffing levels are low or training is required

My cousin (from Colorado) stayed at this hotel with her husband recently (October). The reservation was booked in my name, so she has told me what to write! She said that absolutely NOTHING was too much trouble for the staff during their stay; they ALL went above and beyond what was required of them in terms of service and friendliness! Everything was done with a welcoming smile! Any requests made were fulfilled quickly and efficiently. The staff in both the hotel and restaurant were very helpful. The dishes in the restaurant are reasonably priced and the choice is wide; roast dinners were very much enjoyed as were the vegetarian options. In terms of location, my visitors were impressed with the transport links to Liverpool and Chester and they loved the local area; complimenting it's history, short walks and the cafés. Well done team Premier Inn Greasby - you did us proud 😊 (ps the weather was incredible for October too!)

Lovely meal at a reasonable price. Everywhere very clean & tidy, steady flow of customers. Server's were attentive, but seemed to be lacking in personality. Running short on roasts as it was early evening, my roasties and a stuffing ball looked like frozen ones but overall a nice meal.

We arrived without a booking on Saturday afternoon and were lucky enough to be shown to a table. The service was first class as was the food. Everything about the Gravesberie was excellent.

Five stars! Just had an email from them with a voucher for a free drink. I love this pub. By the way, the food is actually great and so are the people who work there. But a free drink? Bring it on 😁

We had a very nice family meal here. One of our party has bad mobility and the staff placed us in one proximity to the toilets and provided a chair with armrests. The food was hot, fresh and tasty. Definitely recommended.

Lovely staff and very tasty food, daughter and I stopped off here before getting back on the motorway, she ate all her food and dessert and said she loved it, if shes eaten ( she things everything looks or taste weird at the moment 🙄😂) and happy, mommy is happy, was a lovely atmosphere and very beautifully decorated, we sat by the fire place with back door open, we went out there to be nosey and everywhere including the toilets was fresh and clean and very well looked after, and very inexpensive . If we're ever back in the area we will definitely be back to visit

Pate was nicely presented but not very tasty. Hangar steak medium was as tough as old boots, got a bit fed up chewing it, it was easier to swallow to get through it all. Jam Roly pudding was nice but not much jam. Triple cooked chips were nice. Don't normally moan but on a positive note it all helps to improve.

We booked a table by phone , however on arrival told not on list. Not a problem tables were available. Albeit it was early doors. Drinks first at the bar, then to the restaurant. Only 1 member of staff at bar so a little bit of a wait. Once seated at the table in the dining area. Our orders were taken. Photos attached of the meals above. I personally had the Mixed Grill. Overall verdict. Staff very friendly and helpful. Service a little bit slow , especially as not too busy. Food / meals excellent , nicely presented , cooked to perfection and thoroughly enjoyed by all of us. Price was very reasonable indeed. We were advised to buy a bottle of wine as opposed to glasses, good advice. No problems recommending here , but be prepared for a wait , if our experience was the norm. Value for money very good Will definitely return .

Been here on a few occasions for lunch in the week always great service when served by the lads. On this occasion ,Sunday afternoon served by a blonde manager I think. Found a table that was reserved in 3 hours,spoke to 2 servers which agreed to let us have the table until 630 half an hour before booking was arriving. Wonderful we had 2.5 hours which was plenty of time. Unfortunately for us the table arrived an hour early. Which resulted in us being kicked off the table ,left standing in the bar with a 5 year old a dog and drinks. Only realising later we should of stood our ground as we had essentially booked the table until 630 but got kicked off it at 530ish. Anyway we ordered 2 roast dinners that were inedible, burnt ends ,fatty, something that should never of left the kitchen. We did get them knocked off the bill but no apology just kicked off the table. It's a shame because we are regulars but think we will hive Sundays and blonde managers a miss.

Visited on a Sunday in a group of 5. Lovely staff and food was really good. I deducted 1 star as the roast dinners although lovely were only luke warm. The others that had meals said they were lovely and hot. I will definitely visit again as we enjoyed it. Thank you.

Had a lovely Christmas Day meal, food was fantastic and the tables were decorated beautifully with crackers and gifts. I was really impressed with the attention to detail that was made, the staff were lovely and the atmosphere was great. For pub food, this was lovely. Although the puddings where awful and definitely felt like I was eating a frozen aunt Bessie's apple pie. Not good for the price. Main meals amazing though. 👏service great and super friendly

Fantastic customer service but the food was a let-down. Frozen chips need to be cooked for longer and the steak was obviously on the hot plate for too long so it was dry when it got to the table. I ordered breaded mushrooms for the starter and was expecting nice cute little button mushrooms but got large slices instead which are not as tasty. The dessert was amazing though (Eton mess sundae). I can't fault their customer service - they were very attentive and super courteous and friendly. If the food was better (the breakfast was not much better either - nuked tinned mushrooms and bland sausage - although the helpings were generous), I would have scored higher....

Nice place and decent food but no poppadoms arrived with the curry and the butterfly prawns were just a couple of basic frozen ones.
