Easily the best bar in Oxton, choice of excellent beers, served in a really relaxed environment.

Great place to go for a quiet pint

Bit of a local for me, small with not a lot of seating. Minimisical decor, but friendly with good staff. Good selection of continental beers some are expensive. As a real ale drinker I would like more than one cask on the hand pull, but that is just me.

First time visit, nice beer selection. Barman very helpful in recommendations for beer. Very busy at 3pm on a Saturday afternoon. Will visit again.

This is a well run, friendly venue. Often packed due to it being a different local bar.

A great little craft pub right in the middle of Oxton. Pride themselves on the quality of beer. Will visit again.

Great bar with a very large selection of beers. Great service from bar man Sam. Short walk to Prenton Park so perfect place to go before a Tranmere Rovers game.

At the time of my visit they didn't have any real ale on sale but they did have two German lagers on offer and some craft beers. The beer that I chose turned out to be a wheat beer which might confuse some customers as it is naturally and quite rightly cloudy.

Barmaid is really friendly and they have a good choice of beers. It's a bustling place, but we managed to get a table. We only stayed for 1 round as there were a group of blokes at the end of the bar that were being really noisy. Such a shame as I'd have liked to have gone through the beer menu but we couldn't hear each other speak (from across our table) due the hideous noise coming from the opposite end of the pub.

Love this place, Mike and Alex are excellent bartenders and very knowledgeable. If you find something in their bottle shop over the road they will get them for you to drink in the bar too.

Nice little bar.Been here a while now and feels more settled and part of the fabric of the village. Staff great.Different to all the other pubs around 👍
