Lovely old style pub, friendly staff, lovely outside seating to enjoy on sunny days. It's very dog friendly with treat to give your furbabies.

Great little, olde worlde pub, nice beers, reasonably priced. The only downside is the lack of space especially when there's live music on a Sunday evening

Newly refurbed traditional pub in Greasby. Decent real ale but sadly no stout apart from Guinness. Nice atmo. Friendly staff.

I drop in from time to time . It's a very welcoming pub with a great atmosphere . The beer is always well kept and the bar staff friendly and attentive . Only one very minor thing that I noticed only today ... the little bird in the cage out in the beer garden . I couldn't help noticing that the cage wasn't very big and the poor thing didn't seem to have much inside of it to stimulate it . I wish it could at least have a bigger cage .. more toys to play with and perches .. and room possibly to at least flap around a little bit . It looked very lonely on its own .

My go to pub! A proper, well run local with friendly staff/owners. Great selection of beers in a relaxing atmosphere with live music on some evenings (whether arranged or locals bringing in instruments for a quiet singalong). Also on offer is darts and a very well organised outside area for those 2 days of sunshine each year 😉

Daniel and Ian have taken over the pub recently, and have really made a mark. I went with some friends on a Monday evening to enjoy the almost-house band of musicians, and left with my spirits lifted. Everyone is so friendly and approachable, dogs are (mostly) welcome, and folks are encouraged to enjoy the music. They've got a decent selection of beers for a traditional little cubby style pub, although don't expect the range you'd get at generic Wetherspoons mega-bars. Definitely a shiny little jewel in the Greasby community.

When I ordered tea, a cup (not mug) was brought without saucer with a tea bag and teaspoon standing up in it. I asked for milk and a full 2 pint packet was brought, straight from the freezer - still frozen. I pointed this out and it was taken away to unfreeze. Fearing the whole packet would be shoved in a microwave, I got up and left - no tea. Avoid this dull and dreary place like the plague

1st time visit here even though I only live 10 minutes away. Wish I’d come to this pub sooner . Had a lovely pint of ghost ship and Theakstons mild. Friendly barman, Jamie couldn’t be more friendly and polite. Will be back in this pub asap.

👍 Great local pub. Large with variety of seating areas. Good food and a selection of real ales. Live entertainment as well as sky TV for sports in some sections of pub but can be avoided by sitting in other areas if that's not your thing.

🫤 Good food, we enjoyed the singer, and we actually stayed longer than we had planned because it was so enjoyable. At the end of the night a member of staff came outside and berated the singer in front of us. She was aggressive and so rude and even when we prompted her that this was inappropriate, she...
