I spent a long time on Tripadvisor looking for an Indian Restaurant with a good review that I hadn't tried before. I decided on Upton Curry Mahal. The takeaway was quick and the food was hot. We had the usual pappadoms and pickles, only two of us had starters and then we had four different mains. The food was superb, all of us thoroughly enjoyed it and we will definitely go back. I would recommend the Achari Chicken

Lovely dinner tonight. Lovely staff and very helpful. The Tika and Bhuna were amazing 👍 we would highly recommend the food and look forward to eating from here regularly in future. Keep up the great work 👍

Great staff and super food. The chicken madras with mushroom pilau was very tasty. The portion sizes are very generous. I have been there 7 or 8 times now and couldn't fault it. Wed and sundays they do 2 for 1 on eat in main courses.

The staff are always polite , humble and professional. The food is always excellent. We have tried all of the different starters. Our favorite is the Chicken Bindas. The restaurant is clean when we walk past. Cannot wait until the lockdown is over and to eat in again.

Ordered at 7.00pm, delivery due at 8.15 pm, phoned at 8.30 pm, told it would be 10 minutes, food arrived at 10.15pm. The truth would have been nicer than the excuse we where given. Got to say the food was excellent, or was it that being 2 hours late we where ravenous. No it was great. Changing from 1 star to 3 as food was great.

1st time order..polite mannered man on the phone took order no hassle.....food arrived on time....hot and loverly, good pricing also as I think Indian can be expensive .......reality tasty, think we have found are new local 😋 thank you

We have just moved here and have been looking to eat somewhere with authentic food. The food here is fabulous. The prices are fair, and you get a lot of food. We will definitely be returning. The staff is very friendly and makes sure you get the food you want with the amount of spicy you want.

one star for the price, food was terrible,very bland and watery, absolutely no spices of any kind completely tasteless. response to manager. sorry was having issues with the uber app. fixed now left a one star review for you there also

Brilliant authentic Indian food. Would recommend to anyone who loves a nice curry with delicious mix grill. Can't wait to come back.

Food took 3 hours 15 mins to arrive!!!! But eventually when it did it was super tasty. The delivery guy said their chef had burnt his hand 🤚 pretty badly and went off to A & E which obviously caused a lot of unrest for delivery’s and people in the restaurant too! Wish they had just told us on the phone there was an issue in the kitchen rather than telling us from 8:05 our food was on the way and stuck in traffic 😆😆 haha

Food looked disgusting was greasey, doesn't look like what I ordered this is meant to be tandoori mixed grill. Tastes rubbish don't recommend. Thought I'd be getting nice quality meat not a chicken leg that it doesn't even mention in the description.

Lovely fresh hot food. Very friendly and professional staff member who took my order face to face. Wait was not too long and we will definitely be returning, highly recommended.

My only place to go to get authentic Indian meal. Always 5 star service.

I wasn't sure about here as it always has a closed look about it and I could not get through on the phone so I visited the take away. I am glad I did. The food was excellent and the gentleman taking the order was very helpful. I chose a curry I had not tried before so we discussed how hot and spicy I wanted the curry and it was spot on with generous portions and fresh ingredients.

Food was nice but it took two hours to get to us. Used to be reliable but now will not use. Tried calling for an update but the line was constantly engaged.
