    We ordered our meal for table service, at the screen number 4 as of orders went through but did not get copies of my receipt as try 2 time for my receipt. Checked my bank payment was made at MC 11:35.am.. kept checking on the collection screen even that was not working..! Waited over 20 minutes and 3 tables over us got food and we been still waiting and our little one had too wait that long ..! I had my eye on the collection counter order has been not even out.. finally spoke to manager explained her everything as she went to the counter order just came make out. And she said members of staff was looking for tables service.. and did not even apologise I said No staff came out with food because I was right next to counter..! And my wife kept eyes from the table since we had to wait that long..! Special did not even apologise…we received our order at 11:50am from the time we ordered it

    What a joke of a visit ! !!!!!! AVAOID !!!!!!! Ordered a large caramel frappe. This came with no cream. At no point of the order where we informed they where out of cream, just handed a very sorry looking for itself drink. Upon mentioning that we where minus the cream I was was looked at as if I was speaking Latin. Eventually someone else explains they didn’t have any cream. No offer of a refund or exchange of drink or even apology. Upon opening our bags we then found we had no sauce for chicken nuggets and the burgers where just dropped in the bag not wrapped properly. All food was barely even warm. The manager was not interested in the slightest when I mentioned my concerns to her, muttering something about staff training and again no apology from her. It appears they need to train the management in customer service skills and quality control. The preparation area to the right when we walked in is extremely scruffy and does not ‘look’ hygienic. This is not the first time we have had similar issues with this McDonald’s missing items off the order and poor service. We will not be visiting again.

    Longest delivery in England, delivery drivers need to help staff pack the food or you don't have your delivery. As a courier for almost 4 years across England I have never seen anything like it.

    Good fast food restaurant. Polite and friendly staff. Clean and well maintained restaurant, constantly cleaned. Orders take a little long to take, and today we ordered Cafe Toffee with cream on top, but there was no cream( Very clean restrooms, everything is there (soap, dryers working, etc.). Good Wi-fi Huge parking with plenty of spaces around.

    Can't give 0 stars went with husband 3 idiots decide to come in sit down not order cursing and swearing with kids sitting nearby. Few families moved tables. After half hour our order still not brought to us so went to see where it was. During this a staff member told the 3 blokes to leave. I returned to my table asked husband to move as felt uncomfortable only to then be verbally abused and my husband was threatened to be stabbed thinking we had complained about them when they were told to leave. They then waited outside making threats and gestures. Management did absolutely nothing saying she was too busy sorting out a broken order screen so police were called with said manager hiding in the back. Turns out they were from Wrexham one had a warrant out for his arrest and another was arrested on site. All the time there were families and kids in the vicinity. God only knows what would have happened if we had just left on our own. Absolutely disgusted with staff behaviour and the manager needs to remember her customers are keeping her in a job

    Can’t do less than 1 star unfortunately. Ordered some food through McDonald’s app, only drinks showed up so phoned the restaurant and they said ‘oh yeah we forgot to send the food, is there any chance you can come and pick it up?’ Sort of defeating the object of a mcdelivery really, they couldn’t provide me a refund either so had to sit on the phone to Uber for an hour for them to only refund me the food and still charge me for the delivery I didn’t receive so now I’m a tenner down with no food - amazing.

    They close the tables and chairs off at about 9pm, I would of liked a couple more fries with my large order but I forgot what the standard amount is you can be the judge, the wrong wrap was ordered asked for grilled got crispy. Not a big issue I ate it anyway it was nice. I'm sure they would of changed it if I could of been bothered to ask.

    You kind of have to admire how little the staff care. It's amazing. If you have the temerity to ask for a modification to a menu item you can almost feel the rage building in the servers voice. Everyone seems like they are being held against their will. If the order is wrong I tend to just deal with it as I don't think the staff can handle the emotional pressure. I am fairly sure a couple were having an argument as they were serving me. At least it's entertaining.

    This McDonald’s has gone absolutely down the pan!! It seems like all they do recently is push as many orders through as they can but do not have the staff to facilitate so many at one time. Literally every time I go it’s always “can you park up” (lucky if you get a please!) last week I ordered a large mango and passion fruit smoothie, that was it, and was asked to park up! Then took 15 minutes to bring it out. They ALWAYS mess up on orders with changes not being right or items being missed, and then half the time when you park up you get forgotten about as there doesn’t seem to be the staff to run the orders out. All the Uber drivers are a pain too. The only reason I go is because it’s literally on the doorstep but seriously considering just going further afield because this branch is a joke these days. The owner should be disgusted with how it’s being run. Place needs either more staff and sort themselves out or just close down!

    I've just sat in the drive through a queue for 30 minutes. Useless staff, with no apology or response for the long wait. Considering its supposed to be a fast food chain. This is unacceptable. It was 3pm, so it's not like its a busy time for food orders.

    Never, ever, under any circumstance order food to be delivered from here. It’ll turn up with half the order missing every single time. It’s happened to us so many times that Uber Eats have refused to refund us because it’s showing as a pattern of behaviour. They are stealing and getting away with it.

    Be warned: this McDonalds is well known in the area for being NOTORIOUSLY bad at getting orders correct. There’s something wrong or missing with the orders EVERY single time. It’s so bad that it’s actually kind of impressive how consistently incompetent they are at giving people what they actually ordered.

    Absolutely shocking, hadn't finished order when told to go to next window, advised re incomplete order and told to request at next window. Did so but original order then deleted! didn't realise until I'd pulled away but couldn't get back as car behind me. Told to park up for order, cheeseburger meal 🙄 son went inside to complete order, told will be brought to car. Almost 10 mins later, not busy by a long stretch, meals brought out, no drink. Gave up. This site is absolutely abysmal, each time we've been we've been told to park up, thought it was a drive through?! Won't be going again To add insult to injury we got soggy half cooked chips and burgers that looked liked they were put together by someone with a visual impairment, never again

    This is the worst one in the area. Not sure if it's the same franchise. Telling everyone to park up and wait at the drive through for their order. Waited 15 mins for 2 basic meals. Midweek. Arrived stone cold.

    The lid was loose on the large coke. As i put this down in my car it inevitably went everywhere. Another lid was offered to me, but you clearly see that the cup was bent out of shape badly. No apology was made. They also forgot my daughter's fruit shoot, and it wasn't worth the cost in petrol to go back for it. To top it all off the food was cold and tasteless, like it had been sitting out for some time. Will travel a bit further next time, for better customer service and quality of food.

    I don’t expect gold service, it’s fast food I occasionally endure in, but the right order maybe. Time and time again, they don’t seem to get it. Dips are part of the select meal. Parked up, yes, no dips again. Apparently, my fault for not ensuring. Not the first time, but the last. I’m done. Oh, also, no towels or straw. Manager, try managing, I know their kids, but really, how hard hard can it be.

    I'd like to give zero stars. Order arrived with no dips, no straw for milkshake and 3/4 of the fries missing. I paid £3.99 for delivery but was so annoyed as this is the second time it's happened I drove to Upton to take it back. Absolute terrible mcdonalds. Worst ever branch. Use anywhere but there!!

    Came with a group of friends after a fun time at the beach. Ordered through the McDonald's app with table service. When receiving our order, there were several items missing from our initial order list, such as a wrap, fries and drinks. The wrap I ordered and received without any modifications had no lettuce, the sticker on the wrap even said no lettuce, it mentioned Just Eat on the same sticker, this simply shows that the wrap has been reserved after an unsuccessful Just Eat order, it seems that many items were reserved, including fries that were cold and hard. The iced drinks have a different design and look when compared to other franchises, I don't know the exact reason, but keeping consistency is important. Moral of this review? Don't reserve food.

    After visiting hospital with my child ordered some chicken nuggets through Drive through and upon returning home discovered completely wrong order! phoned up to complain managers unhelpful made feel like it was my fault I had wrong order will not be using again and will be in contact with customer services. Avoid at all cost as service is awful!!!

    Extremely disappointed to find a thick white curly hair on my hashbrowns. I wish I could return the 2 I ate before discovering this. 🤢🤮 It probably lost all its colour getting deep fried as the manager couldn't distinguish who it belong too. I requested a full refund, I wasn't offered any concessions or compensation other than a replacement, but I think this is enough to put me off for life from all McDonald's, not just this one. For the record, the manager was nice, she was apologetic, the initial staff was sincerely helpful but no amount of hollow apologies will allow me to ever forget or recover from this disgusting experience. I never want to see another deep fried pubic hair in my life. 🤮🤮

    Absolutely shocked by the lack of customer service from the restaurant and just eat. Ordered a deliver and 4 kids meals were missing and 1 adult burger. Called up to sort and spoke to the manager. He was a joke as well, not willing to help, just kept telling me they are not liable and to go to just eat. Can't speak to anyone at just eat, can only request a refund which is not instant. We are out of pocket with no food and no resolution. Had to scrape together food for 4 hungry kids which was also cold and to top it off, we were told 40 mins and the food turned up an hour and a half later. Such a joke and I won't be going back there again. #update: went to just eat and spent ages trying to sort it with then, only for them to initially offer us just eat vouchers only as a refund, despite us not receiving the food we ordered. After many phone calls and discussions with both providers we eventually got a refund for the missing food and a couple of vouchers for the inconvenience but this was after 3 days. It has been a shocking experience and example of customer service from both parties. The amount of time spent sorting this was ridiculous and we had to do all the leg work. Something that should be simple and sorted right away took days.

    Worst maccy's ever!! Such rude staff at drive through. All they do is 'park it' and have you waiting ages for a simple order! Poor floor/front staff have to to run in and out with these orders. Then once you have the order, there is always something missing or something wrong with it. Hopefully it will close soon, just go to prenton or Bidston!

    Ordered breakfast here this morning, one double sausage and egg breakfast meal and one double bacon and sausage meal ended up with two sausage and egg meals yet the wrappers they put them in said different. Staff need to wake up and do quality control before sending orders out. I went through the drive thru so didn't bother going back due to me being at a job.

    Every time I've ordered an uber eats there's been items missing every time!! Tonight was no different!! Missing a happy meal, no sauces i asked for and got 4 completely different drinks (asked for 3 too!!) And the food we did get was freezing, my daughter microwaved hers!! Tried ringing 3 times but got no answer so ended up having to drive there!! Won't be ordering again!! Its not that hard to read from a receipt surely?!!

    Stone cold food delivered, obviously sat in bag waiting for a driver, going against their own policy. Place has gone down hill over the last couple of years and that's saying something for a McDonald's

    Just been to the drive through and although my breakfast is lovely the customer service leaves a lot to be desired. The girl taking the order and the money I couldn’t complain about, she was efficient and polite . I could not say the same for the girl on the second window . Totally rude as no acknowledgement at any point . After a small wait and no acknowledgement I was handed orange juice with again no acknowledgement, then a wait for food again nothing to say your food is coming. Then handed the food with no thankyou or goodbye . What makes me more annoyed is that she caused me to not acknowledge her and that totally goes against the grain. Very disappointing!!!

    I've tended to avoid the chicken since the last 3 times in a row have all left me feeling very ill afterwards. Don't have that issue with any other items on the menu though. Seems to be a hit and miss here. Sometimes the staff are great, welcoming and helpful, and other times less so. Same with the food. Sometimes it's really good, tasty and fresh, and other times it can be less fresh and just lukewarm. I'm a bit strange and don't like sauces at all. They often get my order right when I ask no sauces, but not always. They're also prone to forgetting a side item in your order like a mcflurry or drink, but they don't even question you when informed and are happy to rectify. I do understand though that it can be very busy and some customers aren't always easy to please so I will cut them some slack and say they do quite well considering how many people they must serve each day. There are other stores though that set the bar much higher.

    Today I went to Upton Mcdonalds Wirral. We were told to "park up" and waited for 10 minutes. Usually it is longer but instead we got all of the food that we ordered but no drinks. We have come to this McDonalds many times and there is always something wrong. Do better, I really recommend Prenton or Bidston.

    I come here frequently with my boys after swimming; they like to go inside the restaurant to get our order. The service has always been a bit mixed. I think this is driven by them prioritising drive through and delivery orders. Today was disappointing. We made a relatively simple order (3* fries, 3 drinks, 2 McFlurries) at 11am. We didn't receive it until 11.20, despite it not appearing very busy The process for assembling orders is odd and a bit disorganised. As soon as we placed our order, I watched someone behind the counter make the drinks and the McFlurries. At 11.10, I saw someone deposit an open bag with the fries inside. The staff then worked on assembling different orders, many of which were made after us. At 11.20, someone assembled our order, the components of which had been ready for 10 minutes, and then handed them to us. At this point, the ice in the drinks had melted, the fries were lukewarm and the McFlurries were in the advanced stages of melting, to the point the boys no longer wanted them.

    Just visited Upton by pass 1/9/22 mc’s asked for a large meal on the drive through got a medium. Asked us to park up and wait which happens 90% of the times we visit. Passed our drinks to us park up waiting. Tried my chocolate milkshake tasted horrible warm took lid off it was well below the fill line looked like it had been standing there for a long time so took it back to the counter gave me another milkshake which was marginally better They brought our meals out we parked and started to eat our meals, they were cold I took back my cheese quarter pounder to the counter waited for a good while then went back to the car to eat the replaced slightly warmer quarter pounder then of course my fries were cold by the time I got back to eat them. This McDonald’s has lost its way the food is poor the service is average. They are putting quantity above quality. Disappointed.

    This is a pretty hit or miss McDonald's the food can be bad at times. We have ordered online a few times from here but have yet to have a completely correct order. Parking is always plentiful unless the carpark is flooded.

    Have been coming to this mcdonalds fro the past 6 years but wont go again ordered through the app and parked up and put the click and collect number in and after waiting 30 minutes i decided to go in and the workers said they didn't have my order and another time i was parked up and anther man had just pulled in opposite me and then the worker came out with my food and gave it to the man so i had to go in again to sort it out and they had to remake it. Also nearly every time i go and do click and serve it always takes about 30 minuets so i always end up having to go in and then they finally start making my food once i go in and ask.

    Ordered via the McDonalds app, arrived at location and chose to get my order via a pick up point, so it was brought to my car. Waited approx 5 minutes and order was with us all in order. The lad who brought the order to the car was polite and the food has been great! Spot on!

    Monday 5th June 2023. Ordered a 'pick up order' on the app. We took the order home and opened the happy meal box. There was only ten fries in the small paper bag. No other fries had fallen out, inside the box. Whoever packed the small bag of fries into the happy meal box doesn't seem to care. Clearly this person can not SEE 👀 the amount of fries IN THE PAPER BAG or feel the lack of weight in it. Surely this person is not fit for the job. Just a reminder to everyone going to Upton McDonald's, please make sure you check all your items are correct and not messed up because it is a waste of petrol to drive back for a simple small portion fries. Terrible service.

    Very slow service - it took us 30min through Drive Tru. The food wasn’t to their usual standards. Horrible soggy chips tastes like they were done in oil that wasn’t fresh and even the coffee had a weird taste. We didn’t enjoy it at all. We definitely won’t be coming back there.
