One of the most unprofessionally run McDonalds outlet in the whole of Liverpool. McDonald's staff managing the kitchen stares and shouts; when you request for clarification on orders at the Customer counter. I have gotten fierce stares for asking why the dine-in system does not work properly. I had to wait for a takeaway service (when I actually ordered for a dine-in). The machine did not produce a table numbering interface, which I believe, is a bug in the ordering system/machine. To McDonald staff: If you find the work highly stressful, please don't do it. Everyone has a tough time around the world (which includes your customers). Don't be unprofessional. You are working in a customer service industry. Customers come first, not your stress. Learn to manage it better and learn to manage your patience.

I love McDonald's, I wish if they serve Halal I always have to order filet o fish. I also wish if they make the filet fish bigger. I will add the missing star 🌠 if they fulfill at least one of my wishes 😏

Half of the order was missing and the wrap was wet, cold and ripped. Disgusting, quite frankly. Took a really long time as well. Do not recommend. Very unhappy with my experience.

It's very dirty, you literally walk on leftover food. Our order took a long time to prepare, we did not get the entire order...

We didn't know the toilets would be closed before 9:30pm, and the ordering booth just shut down on us in the middle of our order. Impossible to eat there, but the food was OK and plentiful. The people at the counter did their best, so it's not a person problem, but a policy issue.

Dirty, chips over the floor food in the toilets no lock on toilet doors. Ordering terminal nit working. Told to pay at counter. Had to wait ages for food which was warm. Only six stools to sit on. Upstairs seating closed. Mens toilets closed. A complete disgrace.

Another makkies.... But you feel less like a customer in here and more like cattle, the way you go in get your food and leave. Staff always seem rude and abrupt..... Food is often cold too. Me friend ordered a latte and had to ask for it to be redone because it was cold and looked like coffee... Worst tho is. This place says it's open 24/7... I did go one time and the doors was locked... I knocked and this woman behind the counter shot me this look and rudely gestured they was closed... No customer service at all... Was just rude! This place obviously only keeps its doors open because it feeds the drunks of a night... But it seems to treat it's day customer just the same.

The food was okay (bar the fries) but the thing that deserved the 1 star was the attitude of the upstairs workers today. Swearing in front of customers, ridiculous amount of nasty glares from one young female worker in particular, eye rolls and raising their voices at confused customers? No call for it at all and the overall atmosphere was one of the most uncomfortable experiences ever, it’s a very **serious hospitality issue. No explanations from the staff as to why the PAYING customers were treated that way and it was just so unprofessional, I was genuinely appalled. If there was issues with the upstairs area due to cleaning or the weather, it should’ve been explained CLEARLY to everyone rather than the immature behaviour presented. Will not be coming back if you paid me.

The new Tiramisu is just a disappointment... looks nothing like the one from the pic which is normal. But it just looks like the staff who made it just wanna get off work and tossed the things in carelessly...

What a Total Let Down...... went to this McDonald's & I'm so disappointed. The Food was Stone Cold with Both sides on the Quarter Pounder with Cheese well done on Both Sides plus Cheese on both sides aswell (Like it's been Heated up & Done again & Also the atmosphere in here wasn't Great. Plus the Male toilets was in a Right mess & Not cleaned.

What an amazing team, my friend collapsed upstairs and needed help, the team were amazing helping my friend till the ambulance arrived, bringing defibrillator and taking care of the 5 children aged 10-13 who were all crying 2 of the children are autistic and very upset. The team found a quiet area just for the kids, brought them food colouring in, balloons and huged and comforted them as I was still in shock myself. They checked on me gave me a coffee and I just can not thank you all enough! You all went above and beyond and the situation could have been even worse if the children hadn't settled. I didn't get everyone's name only Jess but everyone including the security guard who was the first to respond and stayed with us throughout were absolutely amazing. Well done 👏

Pretty poor bog standard Mcdonalds I'm afraid. Fast food served even faster by having coffees lined up ready to serve... going colder by the minute. There's not much thought to customer satisfaction, just pile em high and serve em quick.

It states they are open 24hours yes this is correct- but there is no seating or toilet facilities available my partner was needing this service. Everything was blocked off. This is terrible when it specifically says its a restaurant to "dine in" You need to have a certain dedicated area for customers needing to dine in. Hope this matter gets solved in the future, or you change information informing members of the public your rules have changed.

Had lunch here with my 6 year old granddaughter. It was half term and absolutely packed. We ordered at the counter as all the machines were being used and there were queues at them. They had no milkshakes at all which was a big disappointment to my granddaughter and it was really hard to find somewhere to sit. I only go to McDonalds if I'm with the grandchildren as they enjoy it.

Massively packed out and busy, lots of queue jumping, staff very shouty with order calls, unpleasantly busy and couldn't find anywhere over the 3 floors to sit. But food ok and hot.

Tried to grab a quick cofee. Ordered from the app, had to wait 15 minutes and then order number just disappeared. Cofee was on the counter for last 5 minutes. They didn't have any sugar, gave me sweetener, caused me stomachache. 😢 I don't think I should rate 1 star just because of sugar.

We ordered big meals for two to take home, the big Mc + fries but the fries were missing. We tried to call several times without answers. I went there to Mcdonald I got abuse by the manager even though I showed them the receipt but they were rude and we feel that is bad practice the way we were treated.We will definitely not go to any Mcdonald in Liverpool area.😒😭

I really don't think they check the orders here. Fries are never salted and cold.. we always ask for no ice in our drinks and we always get ice. Sauces are never included despite us paying for them. Visited a couple of times now and both times had the same issues.

The burger was much better then the ones we have in Tenerife. The service was fast considering how crowded the place was. We wanted to go to Burger King but ordering from the screen was too complicated. That was a good thing cos we have been satisfied by Mc Donald's. Great job guys. Keep it up.

Visited this branch of maccies on Friday morning. I ordered a flat white coffee ☕ and a ham and cheese 🧀 flat bread 🥪. The coffee was good however the flat bread tasted stale. First time I've order a flat bread and won't again. The branch itself was clean as was the toilets 🚻. It's a typical Macdonalds 🤷🏾‍♂️

Staff not friendly. Food not hot enough fries cold chicken select warm .quarter pounder meal ok. After walking up 2 flights off stairs cannot be bothered to walk back down to complain. And sorry to say rough looking staff with love bits on her neck. Don't expect 5* but would like it hot.

One of the worst experiences I ever had in my life. First, I tried to place my order using the machines with human interfaces, the security man came and informed me and the others to leave the machines and go to the front counter to place the orders!! I asked him why? Is the restaurant going to close? He said no we are opening 24 hours, but just do that! He was ordering me!!! Then at the front counter, the casher girl asked my about my order, I told her so clearly twice I want 3 vegan burger on of them without tomato or onion or even cheese and she charged me accordingly. The surprise was when I went back to home I found that the sandwiches all are with chicken nuggets!! That was the famous McDonald’s

Stopped in to get out of the rain and grab a snack about 7:45 pm today (Friday 22nd). Ordered food to sit-in and upon going upstairs to the only seating area was met with visibly frustrated staff, no explanation that the seating area was closing, male staff member swearing in front of customers including children. Female staff member glaring and rolling her eyes. I understand not liking your job but the behaviour displayed by the two staff upstairs was beyond acceptable. I work in hospitality as well and it's apparent that there isn't effective communication between staff or management. In addition, when coming down in the lift the exit downstairs was blocked, which removes accessibility for prams and wheelchair users which is ridiculous

Okay service speed and plenty of order points. As some other reviewers have commented it's a bit grubby inside. Can't comment on food quality as I was just picking up an order for someone else.

What a lovely team they have! Just visited for breakfast with my baby girl in pram. 3 different people offered me help to carry the tray/bag my order and the place was clean and tidy. Food was the usual McDonald's; served quick and as ordered.

A busy Macdonald's in Liverpool city centre. It's ok for a visit for a quick drink and bite, but don't expect corden bleu. However can't criticise too much as it serves the community and has been there a long time.

If I could put zero stars I absolutely would, the manager Nikki is an absolute bully. Throwing a drink over a homeless man and throwing his blanket outside for what? It’s Christmas time it was absolutely lashing it down with rain alls he wanted was warmth. If you wanted warmth you have a home to go to for that. He doesn’t his only opportunity was McDonald’s which I know I wouldn’t choose that first. Absolutely disgusting this needs to be investigated further.

Ordered a hot drink (caramel latte) and less than half the cup was filled. Previously had ordered this drink at other mcdonalds where it was done much better. Too crowded to hear order numbers, collection process needs an upgrade. Crowd partially caused by security not allowing family/friend members to sit on any seats until they had their food at hand. So families were all waiting at collection areas.

Just thrown together and served cold, meat tasted like it had been cooked and warmed so dry, it's seems to be the norm each time I take the kids these days, I will not be participating in future, but picking up a real steak and chips from the supermarket at less cost

Friendly staff with generally quick service but it's always packed, a lot of seats upstairs and downstairs with many self service machines available too. Perfect for a quick stop off during a shopping trip on the high street or for a bite to eat. Accessibility isn't great as upstairs seating is only accessible by the stairs but on site toilets and baby changing rooms available too.

Ordering (at the kiosk) went fine but.. There was no printout for the receipt. So we were lucky to remember our order number. Then it was very messy in front of the counter. Display of the ordering number could not be seen, then found that it was in the far corner of the room. Numbers were very small. Not great experience in this location.

For the size of this establishment and the amount of people using the restaurant and the ones that just use the toilets the only toilets that was open was the ones on the ground floor i do not think this is exccepable when we was there the place was packed we could really move and nearlly dropped my tray of food fighting through the people and i dont think mcdonalds can call themselves a fast food restaurant any more as it is not the staff are ran off there feet and i feel sorry for them.

The McDonald's was clean and tidy with well kept tables and little to no mess on the floors. The service was a bit slower than other stores I have been to however this is a very large one in the centre of the city so it is to be expected. The only downfall I would say is the ordering/queuing system. They have these self serve kiosks that you place your order then have to wait in another line to pick up from a hatch. During a busy period this is just utter chaos and has no form or order.

It's your bog standard McDonald's restaurant sat in the city centre high street. Lots of space to sit and eat upstairs. Front entrance is plagued by the homeless and local scummy weirdos coming in and out of the restaurant, sitting around the main entrance, acting dodgy to use the toilets, doesn't make for a pleasant experience. This aside it is what it is. Standard maccys where you order your box of nugz and the staff don't give you your sauce... standard.

I was ordered online a and It was missing my chips and my Coca-Cola. They don't refund money and they didn't send me what was missing. So be carefully ordering from them you will pay but you will not receive your food

What a terrible experience. We went for dinner before a concert and were not impressed by this particular mcdonalds. My sister has been previously and said that the staff weren't very polite or willing to redo her order as they had done it wrong. There was no soap in the females bathroom which was not hygienic at all. The people at the till were ok but they messed up the order and for some reason there was an excessive amount of lettuce on the burgers. Also the security guard would not let us up unless we were 18/ with an adult, yet my sister proved she was 18 with ID but the woman gave some bad excuse saying she didn't look 18. The other security man was laughing, not sure whether he was laughing at us, and if so then it is rather unprofessional. Not happy with this experience at all. Will not be returning.

Sat down only to be told very rudely by the elderly female cleaner to move because she wanted to clean that area , so i asked another member of staff if we could remain sitting there until we,d finished eating and they said we could ..so the old Woman cleaner with the black hair in a top bun style was annoyed that the other staff had said we could remain there until finished eating , so she continued to moan at us to move although I'd explained to her that other staff had said we could sit there , so i said to her you can't talk rude to me im the customer to which she kept replying very childishly " and what " so I said again you're rude and you can't keep talking rude to me just to try and make me move table im the customer and i kept saying the other staff said I can continue to sit here ,to which she again replied " and what , I can do what I want ". That older woman cleaner with the black hair in a top bun style is out of order very rude and childish talking to customers like that she obviously doesn't follow work boundaries and needs to be fired , Absolutely appalling disgusting behaviour from the older female cleaner , really needs to be fired as she has no respect for the customers

The food we got was cold, I was given my order without chips that I ordered when I went to ask to get them I got ignored and treated like I wasn’t there. When I did get given my chips they were a pale white and cold. As well as this I ordered a quarter pound cheese burger and it had random pieces of lettuce in it (not meant to be included in my burger). I would not recommend eating here the staff are also miserable. :(

Went with wife and 3 kids, out of 5 meals, four were wrong. Daughter no food at all and wrong flavour milkshake, other daughter no toy in happy meal, wrong burger for me, made worse by having to go back to the till 3 times from the upper floor. Burger cold when everything sorted! Dreadful.

Food is pretty hit or miss, like most stores. My main issue is the last few times I’ve been there’s this one member of staff that uses their phone whilst preparing food. Surely when working in a kitchen setting you get training about these things but your phone holds so much bacteria and there’s risk of cross contamination. Not to mention being on your phone while your colleagues are working hard to complete orders.

Not many seats on ground floor. Plenty upstairs but a bit of a trek with a tray full of food. No use waiting for the lift, it gets busy and very limited. Food as you'd expect. Great service. Friendly staff.

For a mcdonald’s in the centre of Liverpool it’s good. Never had an issue with the food or service. Friendly staff and a mostly clean interior in the day. The store boasts in advertising 400 seats however the upstairs level never seemed to be open. In the evenings the downstairs is the only open area so it is unlikely you will be eating in. All in all, it’s alright.

Usually decent but can't recommend lately. I appreciate the restrictions are putting staff under pressure and I honestly don't blame them. To be 100% truthful though, you'll be waiting a long time for your food if you're sitting in and from my past 4 experiences there the food is consistently stone cold.

Update : gave McDonald's another go, 6th Oct 21- worse than ever ( see triple cheeseburger, ) served by minimum wage teenagers whose food hygiene training involves being shown a certificate on the staffroom wall. Cold stale looking food not clinically safe to serve to rats let alone people. Avoid like the plague we are living through and eat elsewhere.

Lost a mask there by the lift and ran down to find it’s not there bad staff were useless about it said oh erm not seen it so we lost a mask and they were not the most proficient took a while to serve us waited 25 minutes before we got our food .

Same for all. Dated food. Not been to one in over 3 year. On hoilday. Children asked to go. Note: children said makes you feel ill and now they had it again, will not eat again. Dated and overrated. Staff lovely.
