On payday I had a perfectly cooked and presented 'Full English Breakfast' and a superb Hawaiian coffee from their great range of 25+ beans for less than a tenner and loved it! I think this place shall have to be my payday treat to me!

Went to the Vegan pudding club tonight and I'm as happy as I am full! Absolutely beautiful cakes and shakes, which are rare finds for a vegan! Staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly, service is second to none, and met some lovely folk! Cannot wait for the next one, but I have no doubt I'll be back sooner to try the eggless Benedict and vegan breakfast! The coffee roast is the most accomodating place for vegans on the wirral by far, and a must for coffee connoisseurs too! Thank you so much for a wonderful evening, and for showing people that a cruelty free diet is both easy and delicious! Highly recommended!

Great family run business. Food was lovely and priced well. Will be returning and would recommend. We had the cooked breakfast and pancakes. Everything was hot and freshly cooked and the range of drinks is pretty extensive.

Went here on a whim, wasn’t disappointed. Great tasty breakfast and tea served in a mug. Lovely and clean too. Would definitely recommend and be frequenting again

Small bistro-style eatery, which is usually really busy. Do a great selection of food, all of which is cooked fresh to order. Nice selection of fresh teas and coffees, too, which you can also purchase as gifts to take away with you

Great choice of coffees. The staff were very friendly and helpful and explained the difference between the coffees. My friend and I stayed longer than expected and as we were hungry we ordered some snacks. The food arrived quickly and was very tasty. The Coffee Roast is opening another cafe in Vale Park in the near future and my friend and I plan to visit as soon as it is open.

My new favourite cafe in liscard. Small English breakfast is delisious. It is quite small, service is excellent and staff very friendly.

Wow staff were really nice and helpful. I carnt rate all the food as I only had a burger and fries and a chicken bit or two from the kidds but what i did eat was amazing. Spot on definitely recommend to anyone

Really love The Coffee Roast especially as it caters so well to Vegans, unlike most other cafes. Super friendly staff & always some awesome music playing in the background! Only complaint is is a little squashed? But who cares when the food is so lush?

This has always been a great place (been visiting off and on 35 years). First time here for a while, run by new people since I was last here. I only have positives to report; welcomimg, staff are lovely, nicely decorated and very pleasant fellow diners. We had gone in wanting an all day breakfast, unfortunately, the main foods were finished. As we left the chef (owner) asked what we had wanted and offered to make it regardless ☺. So glad he did, the food was hot, well presented and very tasty!! We will be back for pancakes and to drink through their large selectionof ground coffees.
