Absolutely shocking, disgusting behaviour from the reception staff tonight 7.4.2023. Our car broke down middle of the night and our home is 3 hours away. Myself and my female friend went to ask at midnight from the reception if they would have any rooms available, as we can't get home. The two men behind the reception didn't even open the door for us and just told through the door that they are fully booked and we should "just go somewhere else". As we had to wait for the road side assistance we waited in the car park. Once the mechanic came and advised us that we have to wait longer, he went to speak to the reception guys asking if we could just come inside so that we are warm. It was +2 outside. They asked him to go away also. We ended up waiting outside in the cold for 4 hours. We asked at 4am if the reception men could hold the car keys so that we can jump in taxi and leave the car there for collection tomorrow morning - they of course said no again, so we ended up getting help from the petrol station guy. This is not even about customer service, this is about humanity. Bare in mind that we were respectful, sober and not causing any issues, just needed little help in a very bad situation. Shocking.

Tried to come early, ten minutes before booking in time, she told me it will cost me ten pounds ,I said if I come at two minutes to, she said it will cost me ten pounds, I have never happened to me before in any hotel, it a disgusting. If the rooms have been cleaned why not.

Premier Inn with the Beefeater next door. The bed is comfortable as you would expect from a Premier Inn. Staff friendly enough. Some of the rooms look like they could do with a refresh, which I'm sure HQ will be looking into.

Stayed here for 9 nights while working at the Open Championship. Coming from the US the room was a bit on the small side, but it was clean and comfortable. That's why I give it 4 stars. Staff was amazing, with Debbie and Jill helping me out when I need items because my luggage didn't make. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Location was very convenient to where I needed to be for work, and if I am back in the area, I will most definitely stay here.

We stayed in this Premier Inn as we were going to see Tommy Scott in the next village. Olwyn and Jill were very interested in our trip and even asked for an update the following day! They were very helpful about how to get to the venue and offered us advice about taxis ๐Ÿ˜Š Overall the two ladiesโ€™ enthusiasm was outstanding. We often stay at different Premier Inns around the country but the attention from these two ladies made this one stand out. Thank you x

Great location with very welcoming kind and helpful staff Killian, Jill, Deena and Libbey. House keeping staff Vickey and all the team very high standards , helpful and friendly. Excellent restaurant and pub across the way through a sunny beer garden . The room is quiet ,immaculate and spacious over looking a park. Everything you need for a very relaxing break.

Fantastic service from Deana and Libby, organised a car wash for me and took delivery for my new tools. I work away from home often but these two are the most efficient receptionists Iโ€™ve come across!

Pleasant, helpful staff. Good sized rooms. Comfy bed. There are never enough towels in PI rooms. The two eateries adjoining this PI are basically burger joints but perfectly good enough for what we needed. The location was great for us.

Great location, great hotel and pub next for. Sadly, though, the evening meal service let us right down. Cold food served, and a replacement was given, but after 3 calls to the waiters to get this. Apart from that everything was great.

We just returned from a brilliant 4 night stay at the Premier Inn. We were consistently greeted with really friendly, kind and refreshingly helpful service by all staff on the front desk and by those servicing the rooms. It was so refreshing. Consistently greeted with big smiles and huge helpfulness for all our requests throughout our stay. Facilities were great. Very clean and such comfortable sleeps. Highly recommend. It was a refreshingly good stay and good value for money.

Having a great stay, Libby and Deana have been amazing. Couldnโ€™t do enough for us, and very accommodating for organising a large group of guest.

Where to begin, the rooms are fantastic and the hotel side of things are excellent, the restaurant is the very worst of British, you get your order taken... you wait, nothing happens, you wait 35 minutes... No food arrives... After perhaps an hour, some.microwaved and sauce covered flesh arrived...you eat it and thank hour lucky stars.

Jill and Debbie are warm and kind at reception, helping with details and information, they greet you with enthusiasm and friendly smiles. They make sure to check on room clean up, if you need meals, or directions to local sites.

Stayed at this Premier Inn for the weekend. Lovely welcoming staff that were helpful when needed items for the room. Bed was comfy and rooms were of a good size. Restaurant was shut that weekend so breakfast was at the other Premier Inn down the road. Best thing was also the mass parking which is always quite welcoming.

Deceptively enormous Premier Inn. Better on the inside than out. I was allocated room 131: very quiet despite being close to a busy roundabout. No creaks, noise from neighbours and very little footfall. All staff were lovely ๐Ÿ˜. If you don't need your room servicing they'll empty your bin if you leave it outside.

Friendly and helpful staff make this a nice place to stay. Room was clean and although full, the guests were quiet and respectful in the nights.

Very much dissatisfied. Bathroom was lacking every thing. 2 times requested toilet paper.. was given 1 towel. Short on hand soap. Toilet smelled of urine. This should been done before we came. Curtain rail fell down on the side of my head. All this was reported at the time. Bed uncomfortable. Over all not a happy customer. As this was for my birthday as you can see really not good

We loved it here, staff were lovely, room was comfy and well supplied. Was a great situation for us, we visited Liverpool and Chester easily from here but out of the Hubbub!

Arrived with a very late check in. Gentleman on reception was kind and helpful. Room was just what you expected, nice big bath and shower. Bed was very comfortable, pillows were comfortable too, plus there were 2 spares. The hotel was rather nice as well it was very busy lots of cars in the car park but from the room heard no one and was very quiet inside. Could not hear the road outside at all. Only problem we had was when calling at around 10.30pm to 11.30pm to inform them we would be arriving late (booked last minute online at 10.30pm) it took us 4 attempts at calling the hotel before someone answered. Other than that very good service. If we go that way again we would definitely stay there again. Good value for money as well.

The staff at this Premier Inn were outstanding. Very friendly and helpful in every way. We have a young baby and the staff went out of their way to help us in any way they could. This made the visit so much more relaxing. Highly recommend.

Comfortable beds, good shower. Cooked Breakfast was excellent. I didn't receive receipts for my payments via email. That's was only part I was let down. That's a small niggle, should opt for printed copy next time around.

We stayed here for two nights whilst dealing with a challenging family issue in the area. The rooms were large, well appointed , clean and comfortable. The restaurant was a delight! All the staff we encountered were exemplary, particularly Dan who tuned in very quickly to the pressure we were under; we could not have been staying in a better place. Sincere thanks to all there.

We booked 15+ people into this hotel, paid premium prices for the โ€œluxuryโ€. For new year we wanted to cheers the new year, however, the staff refused to let us, as a group of family we expect this to be a standard allowance of the hotel. The staff we unreasonably rude, and unreasonably uncompromising considering the price paid. We would not stay again, and would not recommend anyone else to stay either.

Great for a one night stay as we were attending a wedding nearby. Room was clean and staff were pleasant. Also handy to have a big car park and a pub on site for breakfast the next day saved trying to find somewhere.

I wish I could give it 0 stars. Very noisy, we barely had any sleep in 2 days. No phone signal in the rooms and the wifi is unusable. Its actually dangerous as u have no way to contact someone in an emergency. Staff not interested.

Very helpful and pleasant staff. The chap at the front desk claimed he was no good at upselling, but that must have been a ruse as he managed to convince us to go for a very enjoyable breakfast for the following morning!

Really pleased on entery to hotel pleasant receptionist to greet you on your arrival. Family room perfect very clean and well maintained. Bed extremely comfortable slept well. Breakfast was spot on. The only issue is that there cooked sausage on the breakfast plate was far to over powering with to much herbs in the sausages.

Have stayed previously - lovely then. Not now: Dirty room. Could not check in at 3pm ....or even 3:15pm and we had a wedding breakfast to attend. 3 sets of guests arrived after us, and could check in with ease. Promised by staff our suitcases would be in our room when we arrived back.....they were not and the handover hadn't been communicated.

The room was exactly what you would expect from a Premier Inn. Clean and comfortable but basic. The thing that absolutely sets them apart is their amazing staff. Everyone we came across in reception and at the beefeater next door were so friendly and accommodating, they all made our stay. We look forward to coming again.

The ground floor rooms are subject to all the traffic noises from the nearby road and the car park. We were woken several times in the night due to noise through the walls of other rooms and from the carpark. Then at 6:30am the staff were making more noise on the carpark outside our room with their laundry bins with zero regard for their sleeping guests. We complained after our first night and the staff on duty didn't seem bothered about the disturbance. The rooms have no air conditioning so guests need to leave the windows open, impossible to get a decent night's sleep. Also the iron was very dirty and left big dark marks on our clothes. Overall a poor quality stay for โ‚ฌ156 a night!

I had a lot of work to do and needed somewhere quiet with Internet. When I booked, I spoke to a lovely lady called Corrina and she organised exactly what I needed. The place was spacious, very comfortable and immaculate. They were so nice. I could not recommend enough. Thank you so much

I was visiting north Wales and Liverpool and Cheshire for a few days. I had stayed in an airbnb for a couple of days and then moved here. I am sorry I did not use here the whole time. It was no more expensive than the airbnb with the added bonus of having a restaurant beside it. I was extremely handy as a location as it was no more than 30 mins drive to historic Chester for culture and shopping, Liverpool for the Beatles and the football, North Wales for its beauty and the Wirral for the golf. Nice welcoming and helpful staff. They pointed out some places of interest locally and were more than helpful in supplying extra pillows and assisting with central heating. While being a convenient location it was nonetheless quiet and peaceful allowing for a relaxed stay.

This night has to be hands down the worst premier Inn stay I've had in a total of 4 (different venues) in the last 2 months and to add insult to injury was the most expensive of the 4. We've had: Upon checking in and hoping to relax a few hours before an event. Some sort of loud sport shouting preventing a late rejuvenating afternoon nap, so exhausted before we went out. Loud voice noises outside window 11pm Loud party people across from us screeching at about 2 am A Hard to describe Loud scraping throaty sound 6.30am the closest I could get to describing it is a cockrel with its vocal chords ripped out. Bed, pillows uncomfortable, In particular the pillows hurting neck and back, as it feels like your neck has to climb them. And worst nights premier Inn sleep aside, (literally had about 25 minutes) The hand towel In bathroom heavily stained, I assume with makeup but I hate to think what else it may be, god I hope it's make-up either way, I'm not using it.
