We went to watch an amazing show last week. The venue is one of my favourite places in New Brighton. The staff are always very helpful, food and drink not too badly priced. All in all, a great place to watch a great show.

We had never been to the Floral Pavilion before. I'm a fan of classic architecture, so the building itself didn't do much for me, but that aside - it was a great space. There are places to eat and a bar where the staff were helpful and friendly. The staff and volunteers helping seat people were really lovely. The theatre is spacious and we had a great view. The show was well staged and we were really impressed overall. There are loads of places to park - there's a free car park across the road from the theatre. Excellent night!

Enjoyed the afternoon tea with my mum today (21 Jan), a belated Christmas present from my nephew. Nice atmosphere and lovely food, served by a very helpful and friendly waiter (sorry, we didn't get his name) who provided us with a couple of boxes so we could take home the remaining food! Would definitely recommend if you want to treat yourself!

What a horrible experience, theatre is nice enough & show good but ruined by an ignorant uninformed rude volunteer called Judith A member of my party has advanced cancer causing them a great deal of pain making it impossible for them to climb stairs , because this person doesn’t wear a hat. telling everyone of their condition this stupid woman called Judith scowled at them to use the stairs she was a volunteer who guides people to their seats etc , she made this person feel so upset by her stupid uniformed judgmental comment it ruined our evening, aren’t these volunteers trained or given the knowledge that not all disabilities are visible , I’m astonished to think this would happen in 2023 ! I’ve contacted the theatre and been told I would receive a reply by 15 working days and I’ve heard nothing back beyond those promised timeframes Shame on you floral pavilion for allowing such discrimination and down right dictator like people to work for you Avoid this place if you’re not fully able bodied they’re awful

Could have been an amazing venue with such potential had it have been planned and organised and executed properly. There was one queue for everyone (even for the ones who already had tickets). After queuing for an hour the first thing I wanted was a cup of coffee or tea. Only to find out that if you go down to the cafe you have to go back to the end of the queue to get back in again! There are no provisions for any refreshments not even a temporary table with urns. No access to water or the toilets without getting back in the queue. The fancy dress system was a shambles. More like cattle herding. It's a good job everyone was well behaved because the Floral Pavilion crowd control was a joke. When you finally get to the cafe you find that it cost 5p shy of £3 for a latte in a take out cup that is more like half a mug in reality. £2.95 for a piece of toast. You'd need to take out a mortgage if you want/need to have anything more substantial. So we left hungrier and thurstier than when we went in. Desperate for the toilet. There were no warnings that you could only pay by cash to get in either so, some people who had been queuing for over an hour were turned away if they had planned on using a card payment and had no cash on them. We were there when it opened so, not like it was the end of the day or anything, and the tombola had already finished. One of the TVs that was wheeled out just played film trailers until it ran out and was then just left on the desk top screen. The other movie room was in a room flooded with daylight onto the screen so you couldn't see it properly. The easy fix would have been to draw the curtains. No announcements were made for film starts and you were only given one leaflet for the group with the plans of were everything was on it. I can't believe how badly the Floral Pavillion hosted this event. The staff were tired and badly prepared for this and cannot be expected to shoulder the blame as they were only carrying out what they were instructed to do by the management. All in all a massive disappointment for all of us.

The staff are always friendly and welcoming. Shows are always of a high standard. Just needs more bar staff to cope with demand and maybe a pre order service for the intervals.

Great location looking out on to the Mersey with what feels like plenty of parking around (although it was the evening when I visited). We saw a comedy show there. All in all, it was great, so why 4 stars.... Well, if you're going attend a show here, you're going to be sat down for a couple of hours - and those seats best be comfy!, Sadly they were not. I'm not a 'large' person but feared for anyone that was as the seats were just not great. Also, the choice of drinks and snacks weren't great considering the kind of venue. Staff were great and overall the place was nice. Finally, for those with EVs, there are no charge points in that area.

First ever visit. Great show, lovely venue but parking can be an issue so get there in plenty of time.

Only went in the cafe with the grandchildren. The staff were absolutely brilliant. The man gave my grandchildren free hot chocolate. They loved it. 😁👍

Lovely theatre, easy to negotiate the stairs & there is a lift. Disabled spaces available in the auditorium. Staff helpful & the view from the Panoramic lounge is great.

Part of the perfect evening out. Seeing my favourite guitar player, Tommy Emmanuel, after a delightful dinner at a local cal restaurant which I'm not going to be stupid enough to name ( VERY busy, booked till Easter, and we were lucky enough to catch a cancellation!) A few beers around the wonderful local pubs, and a load of giggles with a couple of local lasses out on a birthday lash. The Floral has been my preferred venue for guitar pickers for some time. Try it, especially during the late autumn guitar week. You won't be disappointed

I've been to a few shows here all brilliant. Great theatre with a cafe on ground floor and two bars up the stairs. Went last night to see "that'll be the day" it was fantastic well worth going if you get a chance next time that they perform there.

I visited for the 2022 Panto, driving over from Liverpool. Lovely venue, fantastic production, affordable refreshments and free parking. What's not to love?

Lovely little theatre with a good size auditorium. All seats have a good view of the stage. The chairs themselves are a good size, not cramped like some theatres, and are generally quite comfy but need updating. There's an odd musty odour that rubbed off on the hands! We went to watch Tiger who came to Tea with the kids and it was a lot of fun. Good value for money all around!

Fantastic show. Took two pensioners who thought the whole place was brilliant and a 10yr old who has never been to a panto before. And 3 adults. All loved the show and experience. Planning another to Floral.

The Floral Pavilion is a great place. My family and I called in for hot drinks on New Year's Eve after a lovely walk along the front. We sat up stairs and enjoy the view. People were having food which looked lovely, we all said we would call again to eat another day.

Beautiful intimate venue to see great shows. Been many times over the years and its a beautiful place to see live shows. Only downside is only one set of toilets which makes for some mean queues in the intervals. So bear that in mind! Other than that, a brilliantly clean, well maintained building that display some real quality shows! Love going here!

Adorable theatre, have seen a panto and a gig here now. I'm a visibly plus size woman and the seats are very comfortable for me! Easily accessible, I've known lots of people with visible and invisible disabilities visiting and enjoying the floral pavilion. Staff have always been very friendly and helpful.

Went there last Saturday for the Fawlty Towers Fine Dining Experience which was hilarious 😂. From walking through the main foyer we were greeted by smiling friendly staff. Who directed us to the area we needed. The bar was well staffed and the food was outstanding. Can't wait for my next visit.

I love this little theatre, seen many a show here. Perfect size and every seat have a great view, as it seats just over 800 people ( I think ). Food & drink can also be purchased here, I think you have to book in for food, I'm not entirely sure, but if you contact them they will clear this up.

Went to watch Fireman Sam show with 6 year old. It was well organised, worth the money and we had great time. Merchandise on the steep side, could do with some more affordable Included. The facilities are always really clean and staff really made the experience :)
