Great place for a meal, a quick pint or a skinfull😂 Lovely staff who cant do enough for you. Everyone very friendly and a really nice atmosphere. We had the house burgers, amazing. We had our 2 year old with us and staff were brilliant with him. Definitely be coming back👍💙

Attended a wake here on one of the hottest days of the year. Roasting inside but plenty of outside seating is available. Nice clean bright interior. The bar staff were kept very busy.

I've not been here since I was a younger with my mum. 6 of us came for lunch yesterday and it was lovely. Roast was delicious, only thing missing was maybe some cauliflower cheese. Staff lovely and helpful, I had a really good day. I've not been out in a couple of years so I was very anxious, but I was very pleased coming to your place. Thanks x

Decides to pop by on my way past and was it was a rather great experience, food wise everything was really nice and brought out by the chef herself which was unusually but very touching at the same time, really enjoy my visit. Would recommend the food and friendly staff.

The landlady is a very lovely lady, she's very attentive to her customers and makes your visit really welcoming..her staff are very hard working and also very attentive..great to have such a nice local pub..

Called in here with 2 of my lads (& a friend) for Sunday lunch. Beef & turkey, veg, pots & yorkies. 4 big piles of food arrived, duly scoffed. 8½ out of 10. Would be more if Yorkshire puds not overdone. Lovely staff, young girl that greeted me after I phoned very polite & profesh. We'll be back. May go again "soon" when I get 🏍 out for spring. 😊

Handy for refreshments 🍺🍷☕& replenishment 🥪🍔🥗 as The Johnny Pie is situated right in the center of the town behind/next to the Bus Station. There's also outdoor seating for when the weather is good & to keep an eye out for when your bus is about to leave 🚌...😅

The pye pub has been a wonderful place very help customers. I had some wonderful boxing night.also football as well. Kind people. And the manager first class. They give the place the good name.

Staying at Son s for a while called in as my husband had been to watch the football last week and said it was a very friendly pub so he had a pint of Guinness for st Patrick's day and I had Irish coffee both lovely staff and customer s very friendly will Defiantly be back

We held my partners Dad’s wake here on Saturday. All of the staff were absolutely fantastic! They went out of their way to accommodate absolutely everything we asked for. They couldn’t have been more professional, friendly and welcoming. The food was absolutely spot on and there was plenty to go around. Thanks so much to Vickie, Gary and staff for giving Karl the best send off! We will definitely be back to visit xx

Attended a wake being held here and from start to finish it was excellent . Vickie gary and all the staff were amazing. Nothing was too much trouble . Really friendly local pub . We enjoyed it that much we returned the next day and had food which was exceptional . Highly recommend A*****

Enjoyed a good beer ( Wainwright's) until I departed from the bar Was subjected to verbal abuse from 12 males, who seriously need to get a life. I don't need this hassle and will inform the police. This really put a downer on my evening.

Very quiet at time of visit. Clean modern pub. Friendly host. Good clean seating. Tv's. Range of beers lagers wines and spirits. Outside seating. Clean modern toilets. Wheelchair access. Only downside pay and display car park free after 1830

Just nipped in for a pint and a quick bar snack. Pub was pretty busy for late Sunday afternoon. Very friendly bar staff. Clean and tidy.

We only popped in for drinks but service and atmosphere was good.

Pleasant small town pub. Under new management with a new chef so I haven't eaten there yet but staff & regulars are a pleasant crowd of people & I will be revisiting shortly to try the food.

Brilliant experience. A bit of confusion over booking but staff could not of been more helpful. Had the Christmas dinner, starter and main, quality of food spot on. I would recommend this pub and food.

You will always get a warm welcome here. Between the staff and locals, you'll never be short of a laugh and good company. The food is spot on and it's lovely and clean. They do a lot of work to support local charities too. Highly recommended!

Visited this afternoon 19th fathers day with five others for a roast dinner. We had pre booked a table as two people were over from Australia. I have to say, superb dinner. But 10 out of 10 for the one male and one female barstaff this afternoon,as they were one member short. They worked relentlessly and really both deserve a large pat on the back as the pub was extremely busy. Delighted with our visit
