Beautiful building. Opened in 1854, it is a Neoclassical building which contains concert halls and law courts, and is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade I listed building. It's impressive footprint and height make it stand out from other buildings in the area.

I visited the Christmas markets at the Great George's Hall this year, I have to say this has been the best location yet. It was set out really well, everything was spaced out to allow for the amounts of people expected. Everyone with the stalls/big wheel ride (took some great pics from high-up) that we spoke with were lovely and really helpful. We had a great time outside one of the bars. All in all, everyone there had a great time singing and dancing. A great reminder of how amazing us scousers are♥️

Looks absolutely amazing. St George's Hall is located opposite of the Liverpool lime street railway station. This was built in 1854 used as a concert hall and law court. It is a heritage building and has been maintained well. It is a famous photo point for the local tourists.

Went on a tour of the Minton Tiles and what an amazing experience! I didn’t expect a full tour of the building just a tour of the tiles. It was a wonderful day out.

Great guided tour of an historic building. Originally an arts centre combined with cells and law courts. Now a conference wedding and tourist centre with organ recitals etc. Fabulous architecture and often used for filming everything from Batman to Peaky Blinders.

The hall has an interesting history and the external aesthetics are lovely. But the current history whisperer exhibit is too cheesy for my taste. It was also a bit annoying to be shadowed constantly by a docent, as kindly as she was. I take a while to read through placards and other history and felt I was being rushed. The court is worth a look.

Went to St George's Hall concert room on Saturday 18th December to watch Gerald Dickens (3× Great grandson of Charles Dickens) perform "A Christmas Carol". Gerald's performance was amazing and this beautiful venue certainly added to the victorian atmosphere with it's stunning architecture, plus the acoustics were excellent. I was seated in the balcony and had an excellent view of the stage- however due to the intimacy of the venue I think you would have good views no matter were you sat. Staff were all very nice and helpful. Would certainly recommend.

You must go and see the Minton tiles while you can. Unbelievable. Stunning. We did the guided tour, which I highly recommend. The guide was so passionate, which really draws you in, and was so knowledgeable. But the main hall is just beautiful. Just go

Lovely architectural building. Came here to see a string quartet the building is lovely to look at and I enjoyed looking around as I walked to my seat for the show. The bench seats on the first floor balcony were slightly uncomfortable the back rest felt very straight and ridged, the staff were friendly and helpful. I would definitely like to go again to see more shows at this venue.

Beautiful building, now you can see the Hall’s Minton floor, consisting of 30000 hand-crafted tiles. The cheapest ticket costs £5 and doesn’t entitle you to enter the balcony, it’s a shame that you have to pay £20 for the tour to do it.

A one of a kind historic site in Liverpool, used by celebrities, the public for a while bunch of different purposes. Plus the history it has as being the centre of rallies, demonstrations, exhibits and many other parades as such cannot be understated.

Stunning neoclassical architecture on the outside and the inside. Had a enjoyable experience looking at all the fascinating, intricate details scattered throughout the walls, floors and roof of the building! 5 stars! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

What a beautiful piece of history. Well worth going just to take in the exterior but if you can get inside for a concert or tour then absolutely would recommend this as well.

Lucky to go & see the Minton floor at St George's Hall. Stunning original floor that is covered to protect it & only very rarely revealed to the public. Really good to see and appreciate a historical building in this way. We've been into the hall on many occasions but you definitely saw it in a different light Well worth going to see

A wonderful concert hall and also used for exhibitions. Beautiful architecture and detailing and lovely Minton tiles. It is a majestic and magnificent building. There are organised tours which take you underneath the building I believe.

As a Liverpool based wedding photographer i juts love this place. It’s grandeur speaks for itself but it’s so characteristic and makes for amazing wedding photos.

Took my Sister as part of her Birthday Gift. We saw the fabulous string quartet playing the songs of Pink Floyd. They were amazing and the whole experience was awesome!! Will definitely book more of these concerts in the future! Brilliant experience!

21:42 My friend & I thoroughly enjoyed our Candlelight tribute to Pink Floyd at St George's Hall, Liverpool. The musicians were superb, the atmosphere magical & whole experience touched me to tears! The FEVER staff were really friendly & helpful, especially sensitive to my individual needs as a disabled concert goer. I am in the process of booking another 2 experiences & would strongly recommend these amazing events to everyone. I took a star away for the sheer lack of consideration of a tiny few audience members, who were unnecessarily noisy, stomping around & disrespectful, which isn’t really anyone else’s fault. (FRIENDLY NOTE: the booking process is all online so it helps to read the frequently asked Q&As on the website before using the online service for the first time).

Beautiful building and it was amazing to see it as close up as I could as a massive Batman fan knowing they filmed there. Couldn’t get as close as I wanted to though as it was all fenced off due to them filming something else there.

I don't know the interior of St George's Hall very well. However, the external grandeur of this historic building is very impressive. We were shown to an interior upper mini hall, with a modest low stage and a pleasant seating arrangement in arc, all positioned below an impressive chandelier and dome. Statues encompassed the balcony pillars, so I did sense that I had gone back in time. This visit was for a brilliant string quartet, arranged by the company called Fever, who were playing Hans Zimmer movie music on this occasion. Hundreds of candles had been tastefully poised around the room by Fever, so it was a memorable sensory occasion. We went up to this side hall by a quite nice staircase. I presume that there are lifts, but I am not sure. We had tickets for the older ground floor seats, which were fixed, and didn't have much leg room for a six foot man, like myself. The free standing chairs below looked more comfortable, as did the more expensive balcony boxes above (I presume). Nice bar at the entrance. A lot of people took a drink with them to the music upstairs. In all, a great place to visit.

Opening hours stated are wrong. These should be amended go accurately tell People when they can and can’t access the hall. Very disappointed in the misinformation having saved a visit until last day of my trip to Liverpool.

We had our wedding at St George’s Hall and we were so amazed by how organised and lovely the staff were. They absolutely made the day so much better and provided and outstanding service. The building itself is beautiful. We couldn’t be more happy with the entire time we were there. 100% recommended!!!

Great history tour following the experience of a 12 year old victoriana girl and her family. Very interactive experience using latest digital technologies. The hall is stunning overall very worthwhile visit. The two tour guides we spent time with were passionate about the building and about Liverpools history, genuinely engaging...
