One of my favourite places. Lovely riverside walk. The River and the view of the Welsh hills. Looks different every time as the weather and the tides vary.

One of my favourite little woods and parks in Liverpool especially in the Autumn. Interesting walk no matter what the weather and some great little finds if you know where to look.

A lovely place to have a walk. Can park up (free) and walk along the front. Plenty of space to walk, cycle or run. Also a park for kids to play which looked pretty good. Good views

Absolutely beautiful walk alone the Otterspool Promenade from Festival Village all the way to Pier Head Docks. I think it's about 4.2 miles or so and it's stunning views the whole way along. We got to see a bird of prey hunting, lots of other little birds and wildlife along the way too. It was really nice seeing the old Mersey Locks along the way too.

Took the kids to Otterspool Promenade last week. It was a hot day in town but as we were near the coast there was a fresh breeze that made the heat bearable. Great place for kids with an adventure park , playground, promenade and also park spaces to run around. There is also a cafe with hot food and ice creams and toilet facilities. Ample parking when we went.

Lovely place with large out door play park, with wild flower fields as well, some of the paths can be a bit steep going down to the actual promenade, however if you park closer to the tea room ( attached to adventure place) open to everyone though. And walk towards Speke/ Ellesmere port side, there is a more gradual descent perfect for prams and older people with walkers etc You can literally walk for miles. On a clear day you can see the Wirral side, a lovely wide promenade too.

Nice place to walk and not too crowded. Theres a few tables and chairs for a picnic. There's a play area for kids, a skateboarding area and nature trails. Walking down the promenade there is a statue of a sitting cow. There is also a cafe with outdoor seating and just before the promenade a Miller and Carter restaurant which isn't open at the moment. Please note that at half term or kids holidays it's difficult to get a parking space and the tables go quickly.

Beautiful long promenade along Mersey river, one of my favourite places in Liverpool. Quite crowded during weekends near the city centre. It might be too long to walk the whole length, but on bicycle is a great ride.

Great place to go to blow away the cobwebs. If you like a pleasant, long walk/cycle/run alongside the water in a safe traffic free location. Well laid out with plenty of adjacent parking with various amenities never far away. We found a super cafe with play area close by which was great fun. You really should go!!!

Great promenade to go on a walk along, especially at sunset, you can get some great views over the Wirral. Can become busy, especially with bikes and electric scooters (and on occasion people fishing) but well worth the visit. Easy to access from public transport using Aigbuth and St Michaels (through the festival gardens) train stations although neither currently offer step free access. You can also use Brunswick station with a 10-15 minute walk along the main rain (this station has some step free access but still not accessible to all). There are also carparks but they get very busy even in colder months.

Lovely area of Liverpool. Nice pub/restaurant for friendly food and drink with good free parking. Lots of disabled parking spaces to use and good for disabled use ramp options not many stairs. Great for dog walking which is what I use the prom for taking my dog and son along the prom ending up at the little park for a quick play before a quick walk through the wooded area which the kids love to explore and climb about not to mention the dog loves all the scents, sounds and sights. Lots of friendly people about and even a skate park ramp tucked to one side for the teens to use but also be out the way of anyone wanting a quiet walk. Lots of people use the grassy field areas (lots of different sections facing the water front) for picnics, resting and kids playing around on the grass with balls etc. area is always lovely and clean I tend to visit times when the kids are in school or early in the day time so I can always guarantee lots of parking spaces and a nice quiet walk which is so beautiful on sunny days. Make it your mission to find the ‘why don’t you’ filming building, the little tunnel up high and the massive red cow for something different

A great place to take a stroll along the river Mersey and visit the Festival Gardens. Easy to access from the free car park this promenade is perfect for cycling, running or walking.

It's a pretty decent place for walking your dog by the sea and spending time with family. The open grass fields, the promenade and the activities and restaurant all mix together pretty well for a nice little family outing. 👍🏼

I walk or run here every day. Good kids' play area, great for dogs, great for cycling. Flat but iften breezy. Walking along the river is fantastic as it is always different, with changing tides and weather. Highly recommended Otters Café at the adventure centre. Very dog friendly with lots of indoor and outdoor seating.

Sunny afternoon and a river to walk along, what could be better for your mental and physical health. Otterspool is an easily accessible place on the banks of the River Mersey. Plenty of places to park and plenty of things to do. There's an activity centre, swings and climbing frames for children, a skate park and lots of grass to walk or relax on. Go there, you won't be disappointed.

Nice relaxing walk but shame that the garden festival walk area is closed to the public at present whilst they are working on the old tip site 😞

Love Otterspool Prom been going there for years. Sit in your car and take in the view any weather . Great play ground with climbing equipment for kids, or older kids can go to skate park. Very dog friendly can even get a drink for them at cafe. Cafe has a good selection of food, drink and delicious ice cream 🍦 There is a clean restroom in the cafe. Plenty of out side picnic area's or sit on grass. Always lots to see kites on windy days, or there are other fun things if you have spare cash for the kids, an adventure park. Enjoy 😉
