Great day out with or without the kids. Only slight change would be a bit more advanced notice (via website or social media) if sections are closed off. Big features such as the lion enclosure being closed or lions put away can be a bit of a disappointment when you only find out half way through the safari drive. Other than that, great to see lots of different animals up close and great shows / demonstrations.

Fantastic day out, love the seal lion & the birds of prey shows. It's a good value family day out. The boys fully enjoyed the rides and the safari, the wolves are a favourite as are the lions and baboons (alas heed the warnings its all true they eat cars 🀣)

Worth a visit. Can enjoy a whole day with a drive through the forest with many activities. Especially good for kids. Many rides to enjoy. Good coffee shop and restaurant inside the park for refreshments. The Sea lion show is the one not to miss.

We visit this place for first time and we where very happy with this place. This is was for first time ever we went to safari park. We very enjoy our ride. First we went to safari park it took as probably around hour and half go around with car ones with stopping and looking for animals. And after we finish with safari we went to foot walk safari to see some birds and tigers and giraffes. We enjoyed both safari. We also had some food. We had slices of pizza and this pizza was very surprising. Very good tasting pizza. Give just 4 stars because is very unfair to pay for person when you have just one car at the safari park ride. They should charge you by car not person. For 2 people and 3pm slot we pay Β£25.

What a lovely experience. Seeing the lions literally 1 foot away was just amazing!!! Perfect place for families as there are tons of activities for kids and you can drive round the safari as many times as you like. Keep in mind before entering the monkey enclosure, they are smart and try and go for wipers, and may scratch your car.

Great range of animals to see especially as you drive around. The walking area is also great. Good amenities and places to sit and eat. Playground and sandpit area are a good extra as well as the fairground rides. There was the added bonus of an endangered animal Lego exhibition. Would definitely recommend it.

Travelled today with my family 2 young boys and OH and it was amazing. Boys laughed throughout the trip around and we braved it in the baboon area in my new car( that stressed me out) but actually surprisingly not any damage done but clearly do like having a free taxi around the place. Nice little groups of cars taking equal measures of viewing and photos so wasn't sat either waiting impatiently or bored. The animals are very much free to roam and do so without any disruption to cars. Great ample parking and a lovely little walk round zoo too. We watched a sealion show and a falconry one and they were both awesome and proved to the audience that they were very much loved members of a team not just show pieces. Definitely recommend it to anyone. Great toilet facilities and lots of little coffee stops/ice cream stops. Looks like they have regular face painting and fair rides but there is also a park which is free. The staff were all very smiley and seemed to really know their topics too. Book and go!!!!😊

The animals are well kept and it really is a great day out for the family. The baboons did remove parts from our car so be warned (as well as 3 out of the 5 cars we saw that parked around our car at the recreation center). It’s a problem that this is encouraged as we found out when later seeing a bus with ropes on it that allows guests the β€œJurassic park” experience without any liability for their own vehicle. We didn’t like this because it’s not normal behaviour for baboons, and hence the description and 4 star rating.

Only issue we had was lion enclosure was shut and we weren't warned about our top box going into the baboon bit until we were actually about to drive in so we couldn't risk going in. So don't go until top box is removed. And the giraffe section is now closed to public. Other than that the sea lion experience was absolutely incredible, and the animals were great fun to see. Lovely to see the tigers and the rhinos

First time we went round it was midday and most of the animals were sleeping in the shade, but after lunch and a visit to the seal lions, we went round again and the animals were up and about, much better. Watching the lions being put to bed was hilarious, 1 female just didn't want to go and lead the keepers a merry dance.

An amazing experience. The staff are so friendly and the animals on show are spectacular. You can drive around as much as you like. Shout out to the baboons! They are hilarious but beware, they WILL break your wipers amongst other car parts! You can drive around the enclosure and watch on at other cars going through.

We love coming here with our adult children and grandkids. So much so we joined the yearly pass which is well worth the money with discounts at the restaurant and shop. The safari is fabulous seeing the animals in their natural environment is amazing. We come often and each time we see something different. The fair is great value and fun for the kids, the sea lion show is brilliant and the safari walk is lovely and relaxing, we have seen the bird show which I highly recommend. This is a fun packed day excursion you won't forget. And highly recommend

Fantastic day out! We haven't been here for years and we were most impressed with all the attractions. The site is split into two sections, a foot safari and a drive safari. The drive safari reaches about 45 minutes but you could take a long as you like really. We went through twice during our visit. The foot safari has rides, play area, sealion show, falcon display, giraffes, tigers etc. Definitely recommend.

Excellent day out with my family for the grand daughters birthday. A cold damp day but wow so great to get on the baboon bus and tour all the various regions and see many and varied animals; rhinos, wolves, deer and amazing lions feeding. Special mention of Nick the driver/guide great job...then to see the birds of prey display. Brilliant and finally the sea lions display, not a fan of captive animals performing but these two sea lions were great. Well done to all at Knowlsley Safari park...

A fantastic day out for all ages. We went on an extremely rainy day which would normally ruin any day at any other outdoor zoo but not Knowsley. The Safari Drive allows you to observe and get really up close with the animals all from the comfort of your car which means, rain or shine, you have a fantastic experience. We spent about an hour and a half in total driving round because we were just so drawn in to the animals (especially the monkeys). Ohhhh the monkeys!!! What can I say about the monkeys? They do not lie when they say that they WILL break bits of your car. But that's the risk you knowingly take if you opt to take the route through the enclosure instead of the car friendly route. Luckily we escaped unscathed apart from a sliver or car trim sticking up on the bonnet. If you prefer to not risk your car then the car friendly route is just as entertaining as you get to laugh at the other car having their parts ripped off haha. We were a bit disappointed that we couldn't see the sea lions with the covid restrictions in place but we understood the reasons for that decision. All in all a very entertaining and worth while trip.

Such a great day we've had! Definitely recommend. The only down side was that the giraffes were inside and I love them and that the train was not currently is use due to pending maintenance but it was great fun! Aaand we've definitely enjoyed the sea lions show!

We visited during summer holidays with family. It was a wonderful experience. I will recommend this place for family and kids. Please don't miss Baboons and Lions section drive through πŸ™‚ It was raining and Baboon was drinking water from wind screen.😁 My son is still asking about Baboons because it was his 1st safari drive through experience.

A really great family day out. Firstly the safari tour which you take in your vehicle and then go on foot to enjoy the rest of the park. Lots of animals, a couple of small play areas for younger children plus seating throughout the park for a sit down. You can bring your own food and there is also food and drink for sale. There are shows and talks throughout the day including sea lion show, birds of prey display and giraffe and tiger talks. There are also rides for the kids (and big kids) which are an additional cost.

Taken 2 stars away cause we weren’t able to see all animals listed on the foot map. No updates whatsoever on website that there was ongoing work and most animal been moved to the drive. Experience was cool, they have a restaurant and cadet, playground for kids and gift shops. Would recommend

The Safari Park have gone to tremendous lengths to make sure they're ahereing to the new measures, whilst still allowing families to enjoy and have a great day out. The restaurant worked like clockwork, we were told exactly what to expect right away and were dealt with so well by polite, helpful and jolly members of staff. The food was delicious. Crispy chips, crispy fresh chicken nuggets for our little girl. She also got a free giraffe mask which she loves. The park as a whole operates on a one way system and staff are dotted about to remind people, and signs are up to explain not to touch the glass. Hand gel dispensers are also placed around so everyone can access these without touching them. The gift shop again runs so well, staff there to remind you of everything and gel available on coming in. We also had a train ride. Staff were so calm and happy to help, made sure all rules were being followed. So glad we bought 2x gold memberships. Will definitely renew next year and get one for our little girl once she turns 3.

Really fun, enjoyable family day out. The driving safari part is great (and you can view the baboons from afar if you don't want your car trashed!) The foot safari is also fun and the sealion show is gorgeous! The kids loved the fair rides and Β£10 buys you a pass to unlimited rides. Food is pricey but good. All in all, a great day out.

No more elephants. It’s the first time I’ve been to Knowsley Safari Park in a good 10 years I’d say and it’s the same as I remember for the most part. They did remove the elephants from the safari so you won’t be able to see any elephants here. The tickets for adults cost Β£18.50 each. I went by car on a Monday afternoon and it wasn’t busy at all. I went around the car route twice to get more value out of the trip (avoiding the monkey area). The tiger/s were very hard to see and the enclosure is quite big so you literally have the hunt them to get any view of them. But I enjoyed the hunt and it added to the experience in some way. Overall, as the only Safari Park in the Liverpool area it’s still pretty good with there being mainly mammals. A good day out with the family.

Very nice place to visit. We returned for the second time here. The weather was very nice to visit the animals. There aren't many people as we were in a holiday term, so we enjoyed everything. The safari was wonderful because all animals were out to enjoy the sun. We chose to use the bus for safari as it is safer for the baboons part ,as they can cause damages on your car. The bus driver gives us a lot of information about all the animals viewed. The cost of the bus for safari was Β£ 6.50 per person. If you don't want to go through Drive Safari Park , you can spend your day on safari walking and see the other animals, rides, or play in the playground area. It is a lovely place to spend with children. There are lots of facilities ,a restaurant and picnic areas.

Love this place you basically drive and see animals like lions walked past our car! There’s a monkey exhibit which you can either go into the monkeys habitat DONT they go on your car sometimes take windshields you can go past it without going into the exhibit which is the same just not getting damages car by the way the park doesn’t pay for damages the foot safari was alright the car experience is better the rides were not the best.. but they had a live show of animals so cool i love this park I’d go again

Absolutely love this place. We visit Santa here every year and we are never disappointed! It’s the perfect place to bring a child under 8 as the rides and the perfect size for them. The safari its self is wonderful and we always come away with fantastic pictures of the animals. This year we tried the light show it was fairly expensive for what you got so we probably wouldn’t do this again but over all as a one time thing it’s worth doing.

This was at Christmas the enhanced light show, took my grandchildren and daughter. There was something for everyone. Stunning views good food and brilliant fair rides for the young ones. Rides not really for older teenagers but still lots of fun, one slight negative the food is expensive. Brilliant visit at Christmas

Took our grandaughters for the day. Went round the park the car friendly way watching the baboon enclosure from a safe distance Later we took the baboon bus and were able to see them up close and very amusing as they clambered up the strategically placed ropes attached to the bus. The driver's commentary during the bus trip was also very interesting. The foot safari enabled us to see the tigers and giraffes up close too. The food outlets were limited owing to covid but although not cheap the food was certainly appreciated. A thoroughly enjoyable day out.

First of all, if you've come to the reviews section to find out whether to visit or not - I/we definitely recommend visiting here. You won't be disappointed. It's one of the best places I've visited with my children to date and we're definitely going to go again in the future. The drive-thru baboon experience was fantastic, absolutely amazing! However, they do get on the car, we went in twice and they stole the rear windscreen wipers and they bent one of the front ones and chewed our car aerial. But the experience was worth it and the kids found it hilarious. We got really close to the rhinos and the lions, we was in awe!!! The restaurant on site which I believe is called 'Oasis' restaurant wasn't the best at all. The food was pretty rubbish, I'd rate it a 2/10, but I'm a foodie so maybe I'm a little more fussy than others may be. I'd recommend going to the outdoor food court or taking a packed lunch and sitting at one of the benches, we wish we had done this. They also had a deli and a coffee house on site which both looked lovely.

Lovely time out with family and experience. A lot of animals to see and baboons, love to jump on car and are intrigued. Be careful as they love to take a car part with with. There is also another route, where you don't need to take your car through baboon section. Parking is really good and with picnic benches.

Fantastic family day out! We had a great time here - it was a 90 minute drive and Β£85 for a family of four, but it was well worth it. The safari drive was brilliant and it was nice to see the animals in a more natural habitat, not just locked up in small cages. You can go around the safari drive as many times as you like and we went twice, once when we got there and then again at the end before we left. After the first drive we did the for safari and went on some of the rides. These were mainly aimed at younger kids but mine at age 10 and 11 still enjoyed it. Overall it was one of the best family days out we’ve ever had and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone considering going.

Really good for kids. Jurassic shows were going on because of the summer holiday. Play area for kids. Lots of rides but you have to pay separately. The Safari area could take 1 hour in the car. You can choose a car safe route as well. You can get off if you book in advance. Love it.

Take a picnic or get food and drink, ice creams there prices are bit that bad to be fair. Can't recommend highly enough. Fantastic family day out

Pre-booked for the first slot on a Sunday morning (10am) you are able to enter any time after, so thought best go for the first slot. 1 adult and 2 children (15 & 11) ticket cost was Β£45, we all had a great time despite the wet weather. We got to see all the animals, highlights being the lions, wolves and rhino whilst on the drive and then highlights on the walking part were the Tigers and sea lions and definitely go and see the sea lion show. We ate there at 12:30 with only a few people in front of us and tables available. 1 X kids meal and 2 X adult meals all with drinks Β£27 and served to our table in reasonable time. It was probably quieter than normal due to the weather but we had a great time.

Good fun. We did the safari drive and saw ostriches, rhinos, bulls, deer and the lions were impressive. Don't do the baboon drive unless you're willing to get your wipers ripped off. You can still see them from the safe drive. Went at 3pm when it's a fiver cheaper. Took an hour and a half.

Fantastic day out, great seal and birds of prey shows both interactive with the audience, the drive around was great with the animals feet from us, the baboons were great fun climbing all over the car, luckily no damage at all compared to others, food and drink prices were very reasonable and we would have paid double the entrance fee we had so much fun, highly recommended, all the staff were polite and helpful. It does get a little congested on the drive around when people are jostling for position to get the best view of some of the animals but generally cars keep moving. Our children couldn't contain their excitement when the baboons where climbing on the car and one camel that pressed up against the car. Highly recommended.

Great place even at this time of year. So many animals to see. Didn't try the footpath but I hear the tigers have moved to there so that will be worth it one day. Thankyou to the staff for keeping everyone safe and looking after these brilliant animals. I loved the baboons and the rhino's the most. This place is great the animals have so much room with large enclosures and room to roam didn't wait any time in the drive through safari went round twice, I would avoid the Baboons unless you want something ripped off your car lol but you can pay a bus to take you round instead wish we had as we now have parts missing 🀣 the lions were amazing, the walk round was lovely to so maintained and well looked after, all staff we saw were polite and friendly great few hours of you don't have children if you do probably a whole day out with rides and things, shop had some great novelty items and toilets were clean.

Lovely day out. A good variety of animals in a well maintained Park. We avoided the baboon enclosure after we saw a lot of cars with damaged windscreen wipers and wing mirrors coming out. They appear to have mastered the art of mischievous car dismantling. The cafe was good too. A nice play area for the children and plenty of outdoor seating. Just one thing to take note ; the price is high, particularly for a young child.

Thought it was a bit dear when we booked, but worth every penny. 2 seniors, an adult and a 7 year old. Went 10 mins early so first in the queue. Feet away from Rhino's, lions, giraffes. Great sea lion show included. Didn't see the tigers but it was very hot so they were probably asleep in the shade. Lots more to see. Small funfair a bit steep at Β£3.00 for some rides. Children's playground. Nice cafe/restaurant reasonably priced. There is a walking safari as well as the driving one. Recommended.

We got there at 9:50 so were the first to enter the drive through. Highly recommend doing multiple rounds. Our favourite parts of the safari were the baboons, lions, Sea-lions show and Birds of Prey show. The foot path part of the safari is quite small but easy to get around. Toilets located around the area were reasonably clean

Great place to take children or even a date! The park has a long path that takes you through each area for specific animals. Depending on what time you go, you can witness the animals being fed (the lions are cool!). At the car park, there is a restaurant and behind it is a fun park which is perfect to take children on. 5 year olds plus can get to go on the bigger rides and adults are allowed to go on free when accompanying a child.

Really enjoyed the day. Drive through safari was great. Did avoid monkeys as we had a roof box on the car. The park was busy, but not overly busy. Enjoyed the dinosaur show for the kids and the sea lions were awesome. We purchased ride wristbands which at first we thought expensive until we realised that majority adults can accompany child. Really clever way of charging which meant family of 4 needed just 2x wristbands for the kids. Best time for ride queues were later in the day. Specially the last hour as there were no queues. The walking zoo was a little disappointing as many exhibits seemed closed or animals missing. I think the park is undergoing some big changed so I can't wait to see them, but on our visit it felt like we had the drive thru and the rides mainly. Food was good. Had lunch and then dinner. Reasonable price.

Enchanted Forest Walk at Knowsley Safari Park is absolutely stunning. After walking the trail, the fun fair is open. On the trail you past through Winter wonderland and the rainbow road. You get to toast your own marshmallows on the hot coals after passing Santa's work shop. Then you walk in the forest, passing the Tigers very quietly 🀫. It's an extravaganza for your eyes, and it's for children and adults and only costs Β£10 each, which is a fantastic bargain. Thanks, Knowsley Safari Park you made our evening perfect πŸ₯°

This was out first visit to the safari and we all as a family thoroughly enjoyed it. Although most of the walking safari was closed and rides and attractions shut due to COVID we did manage to complete the 5 miles drive through safari twice and walk through safari once in 3 hours!

It is such a great place to go when it's a miserable but want to get the children out of the house. During the Covid the baboon bus wasn't running but risked going through and our car got no damage. It was amazing to see them looking the windows and trying to pull things off. Brilliant and the service during these times are brilliant!

Great day out for the family. We all enjoyed it. Dont be confused with people queuing really near the entrance to the park, as that is usually people who have turned up early for their slot. Baboons were mental! Not sure if people on the safe route were looking at us or the baboons though. Super. Will visit again

Lots of things to do for hours if you want, especially for kids. I look forward to returning in a warmer and drier season. Also I think COVID has limited a lot of the animal experiences one can have. Overall, nice experience.

Loved it here brought my little brother in law and my fiancee. He loved the baboon area and the ride section of the park. Over all a great experience

Fantastic place to visit. If you love your car do not go through the monkey enclosure. We took the other route and parked along side the fence of the enclosure, it was hilarious watching the monkeys, but very naughty damaging a lot of vehicles. There are signs warning drivers so take their advice. Would have loved to drive through but that would have been an expensive mistake. Beautiful place to visit though, definitely worth a visit.

  • 5/5 James H. 3 years ago on Google
Really good day out with the whole family. The best bit was the baboons. They have a car safe route if you are precious about getting the odd bit of car removed by an angry monkey. I think I got away pretty lightly. There was more than one car with a couple of metres of trim pulled out. We went through twice and they definitely seemed more inclined to tearing and biting the cars later in the day. That might just be coincidence though. Also the Lions got fed as the park closed so.if you want to see them tearing bits of flesh off a carcass rather than snoozing, aim for then. The fun fair was good value Β£10 for unlimited wrist band, which includes free adult rider with child, and lots of fun rides. Couple of height restrictions to bear in mind. 1.1m being the minimum for 1 or 2 rides. Everything was taking a bit longer due to extra cleaning between rides and a couple of things were closed. Boating lake Β£5 for 20 mins. Food and drink really not very expensive when compared to other theme parks etc.

Visit Knowsley Safari at least once a year with my kids. It’s always a great day out. Love that you have the driving part of the day and then you can enjoy a walk around, some fair rides and shops, feeding and more. Such a great place for the entire family and excellent value for money.

Great place to visit the kids loved every minute of it, it's a drive round and a walk round Safari, animals come really close to the cars especially the baboon's they jump all over the cars it's reasonably priced lots to see great fair rides for kids, plenty of parking and plenty of space for social distancing, would highly recommend.

Our membership has been a bit of a lifesaver during lockdown. The kids love the baboons jumping all over the car, but just a word of warning, take your rear windscreen wiper off before entering the park. Every time I've forgotten (twice so far) I've had to buy a replacement on the way home.

Took the kids (5 & 2) and they absolutly loved it. Me and the Mrs also had a fantastic time. Excellent variety of animals but some exhibits closed. Will absolutly be going back. But take your own food, very pricey for food.

Couldn't really see many animals in the drive area. Toilet facilities were very poor and tight so not good if you have to take your child. Did not serve halal food and told the oil for chips was mixed to cook non halal products. So social distancing practices once inside or waiting for rides

Visited Sep 2020. Nice day out but smaller and low profile as compared to WMSP. Unfair comparison, I guess. Drive through as well as foot safari- both separate. Most shows were not running, birds of prey show is like 10 mins- nothing. Some trails are just there. Only had one tiger, sitting away on foot trail. Appeared that they can do with some more animals. Lions on drive through appeared too lazy- may br due to cold. Loved the rhinoceros and bisons- drive through. Baboon stuff- you can avoid going through- take car safe if not feeling very adventurous to have your stuff broken. Took our windscreen splash nozzles :D Coffe shop was good. Seal stop was excellent as lower level show you underwater- however water was unclean. Toy train- nothing much, but kids enjoy anyway. Lot of rides- paid separately, looked fun but our kid wasn't interested :) Scope for lot of improvement but a great place to have a fun Day out.

Enchanted. This was much better than Chester Zoo walking with Lanterns. Very nice walk. The snow made it look picturesque.

  • 5/5 Hayley A. 3 years ago on Google
The drive through part of the safari was AMAZING. It gave us the chance to get up close with the animals as we had lions, rhino, deer, camels etc right next to the car windows and monkeys climbing on the car (and pinching the rear wiper).. there is a monkey safe drive for those who love their cars more than their kids but it's much more fun and entertaining going through their enclosure. The foot safari was nice but not a lot to it. They need to have a look at the Yorkshire wildlife park and upgrade a bit. More animals are needed and information boards but the rides and train were nice for little ones. The oasis had a nice range of food with a bbq outside which was lovely. It's nice how you get to go through the drive safari as many times as you like. We did the drive once, then ate and did the on foot part then drove through again which was perfect before getting dark. Thanks Knowsley. We all had an amazing time. (The pictures are only of the lion feeding as these are the only pics on my phone. I took the rest on the camera) x

Brilliant day out for the whole family. Very sensible ticket price for the family too. Plenty animals to see on the driving safari (which is kind of the point...) but there's also some rides and walk around areas to explore as well. Whilst the entry price is pretty sensible, though, beware the food prices!! If you're planning on eating there, best get another mortgage agreed before you go. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the park part where you're on foot was pretty clean compared to most places like this. Would very much recommend Knowsley Safari Park to younger families; with teens who aren't particularly into animals, there may not be enough to keep them interested the whole day, but with our ten year old, the whole day came and went in a flash: we all had a great time.

You can drive through the safari as often as you like, and then explore other sections on foot. Sadly some animals kept inside due to recent snow fall but you cant blame them as even I had the heaters on in the car πŸ˜‰

And she should be ashamed of herself as she should know better

Been a few times. Hit & miss with seeing all animals depending when you go but a nice few hours out at a decent price, usually have deals on a few times a year too! We went to enchanted lights, it was ok. Staff were lovely and covid rules kept. Lasted about 25 min walk with stopping to look at all lights & take pictures. Loved the lights just could have been a few more. For the price its good, under 3's go free Followed by a few rides, adults go free with paying child which is good, a few decent rides for even little toddlers.

Really good day out, our kids loved it, very reasonably priced. The Baboon bus was brilliant and saved getting my car pulled apart. A sealion show and a bird show in with the price. Also rides there to keep younger kids happy, but extra to ride on those.

The entire team at Knowsley made our day an unforgettable experience. Having emailed them the day before with a last-minute panic booking (due to my partner's illness), we were accommodated wonderfully, given a magnificent personalised insight into the park and the animals, and treated to some unbelievable moments that I'll remember forever. Plenty of room to wander, lots to see, and so much to be grateful for. Thank you. Definitely worth multiple visits, great for kids, and a beautiful reminder of the planet we share.

Was slightly disappointed with the number of animals on the actual safari and can't believe there's no elephant's.The best bits were the baboons and seeing the giraffes. For my kids, they enjoyed the rides more than the safari itself but all in all was a good day out.

Had a lovely afternoon, felt like we had the place to ourselves it was so quiet. The only downside was a lot of the animals on the safari drive seemed to be in hiding, probably too cold for them to be bothered to come out. But the monkeys didn't disappoint, my little granddaughter loved them, she's nearly two πŸ’

So Knowsley is an interesting day out the price for entry isn't to bad . I wish we had see more animals , you usually find they are all clumped together miles away from the road. If you have any common sense do not go in the baboon enclosure if you value your vehicle in any way. Luckily enough for me we we're in the works vehicle and nothing got damaged however we saw some cars that we're definitely devalued there.

Fantastic! We absolutely loved the safari park, the drive was great, with a varied bunch of animals. Be careful if you drive through the baboons though, they ripped a lot off our car!! We will defiantly be going back.

Animals look healthy and the staff seem first class. The site is aging a little and it would be good to have the zone numbers from the map on the actual zones as you go into them as its not always easy to understand where you are. Recommend going round twice or more as you can see different things. Oh and clean your car windows before you go, or your photos will look muddy like mine do!

Lovely place to visit to see some great animals! Really enjoyed it albeit apart from the monkeys pulling apart our car! Not so great signage in the actual walking zoo part - easy to get lost! Good enough to visit once, but don't think we would go back again. Great drive through the animal's enclosure, but just not enough of the bigger animals like lions, and hippos. Seems to b only 3 lions, and a few hippos and buffalo. The rest smaller prey animals. The sealion show is really good.

What an excellent day out! Worth every penny. Not something I'd do often as it would lose how special it is. The queue to get in was extremely quick, we got there just after opening. We drove straight in to start the safari, with a quick stop by the clean block of toilets at the side of the road. The road is split into 3 lanes, to allow you chance to stop and observe the animals whilst giving plenty of room for others to overtake you. We were brave enough to go through the baboons and were stopped before going in so that staff could check the security of our vehicle and give a quick brief about damage that will occur. Luckily my vehicle was baboon proof and it was all so worth the risk to see the joy of our little ones faces. If you don't go into the baboons, you are able to drive and stop along the fences to watch the chaos unfold. The safari took us around 90 minutes. We then went into the main site to explore, there were animal shows, foot safari to see animals not seen on the drive thru. We chose not to go on any of the token rides. The gift shoo had a lovely selection of toys etc..and we purchased some of those. Once our littlest was asleep we went on the drive thru again so our 7 year old could fully enjoy it without his little brother in the way, this time it took 45 minutes to drive through. So so glad we came here! We will return in a few years when our children have aged further and developed new curiosities about animals so it all feels new and exciting like it did on our first visit.

It was great, we did the drive safari first, we got off lucky in the baboon area, although they were all over the car, they did pull a back light off, but easily fixed back in place. Then we went round the foot safari, to meet the dinosaurs that were there. I really enjoyed the show they did with Loki the raptor, Bruce the T rex and Sarah the triceratops.

Went to Knowsley safari park to do the sea lion experience and had the most wonderful time. 2 hours spent learning about these magnificent animals and getting to spend time with them behind the scenes. What an amazing experience! I highly recommend doing this. The sea lions are clever and gentle, and very funny. They reminded me of my labrador. Full access to the safari park was included so I spent the entire day there after my morning experience and had a really great day.

New experience on self driving in the Safari park. Really love the Sea Lions show, the MC trainer was excellent as he taught us a lot of knowledge about Sea Lions, where the talented Arthur and Roger (the Sea Lions names), their performance were so so great and surprised us, MUST WATCH show in the park. The other show Birds of Prey, we love it too, the MC trainer was very knowledgeable and taught us a lot about the birds nature, MUST WATCH too. Had no enough time to watch the other shows but will try to come again to watch.

We enjoyed the safari, if you value your car take the safe route through the Monkeys as we took the old banger, we wasn't worried as its part of the fun was seeing them up close, our favourite part for sure. We enjoyed that it's at your own pace, if you park next to a lion you can stay as long as you please before you make your way to the next area, the animals looked healthy, I would definitely visit again.

Visited here on valentines day. Drive through safari was good, had good viewings of the animals. Spacious enclosures for majority of them. Just the wolves that didn't have much space, however this may be because of an upgrade on their enclosure. The walk around safari was disappointing. No giraffes at all, or Bush dogs. Seal enclosure was incredibly small and saddening to see such intelligent animals kept in such awful conditions. Didn't watch the show as it is cruel to have animals performing. Toilets were unclean and smelled.
