It's nice to have a walk here. Plenty of open space for walking, picnic and running. Saw lots of people walking their dogs there. Also saw some squirrels, ducks and swans. Free parking at the entrance.

Fantastic spot to take a walk. Taylor perfect for dogs as there are lots of places to go and rummage and plenty of space to run and play. Several play areas for younger children and a cafe for refreshments. The park was very tidy with bins a plenty to dispose of your rubbish.

Lovely park with 2 kids play areas, large field, large lake, cafe, and even what used to be a massive paddling pool that small children now ride they're bikes/scooters/skateboards in. Lovely in the summer with all the flowers too.

First time visiting, good facilities and lovely pond with live fish. Saw a couple of people fishing and relaxing by the water. Park was clean with lots of families and dog walkers about, loved this cheeky squirrel ๐Ÿฟ๏ธ that came right up to me on the bench, wow! Parked outside the park, would visit again.

The blue lake is absolutely gorgeous and lovely to walk around. Itโ€™s not every day you see an actual blue lake! The childrenโ€™s parks (2 of them) are well equipped for the children to enjoy, plus thereโ€™s an outdoor gym for all ages. Thereโ€™s also a big field behind the lake for a sit down field picnic, or gymnastics session if you fancy it like we did (no bones broken). There are also lots of baby ducklings and cygnets if you visit in the right months (April/May). AND, LOTS of squirrels. Which weโ€™ve fed nuts to in the past - super cute! Overall, highly recommend for the family on a sunny day & winter walks! (Ice cream van there year round. I believe there is a cafรฉ which Iโ€™ve heard good things of, but Iโ€™ve never been in).

Absolutely Fantastic Views And A Lovely Walkโ€ฆ Although The Lake Next To The Main One Was Infected With Blue-Green Algae Which Is Unfortunate Since I Had A Childhood Fishing Here But Aside From That It Was Beautifulโ€ฆ

First time back for many years, still a wonderful park for families young and old. It is looking very tired and in need of some T L C but still a tremendous facility.

Very pleasent park. Lovely trees, lake to walk round, reasonably priced cafe, big field for you dog owners. Playground looks good but I don't have kids that age. Ice cream van on site. Plenty of parking if you turn right on entering the park. Lots of ducks for the little ones to feed.

Taylor park is great place to take the kids for some fresh air, a kids play area, a lake, with many types of birds. Squirrels in the woods surrounding, nice walk ways. A large field, skate area (albeit only for youngsters, it isn't adequate for proper skaters). Ice-cream van, basic food/pop shop. A good afternoon can be had here. But there are some areas that st Helens council could improve to make this more attractive to visitors. Improve the shop area, open the closed units, use the builds on the water for cafe's and viewing areas. Add more fluctuation to the skate area,

Good paths to walk around, dog friendly, fenced children's playground away from the lake, good cafe, plenty of bins so no excuse to leave litter to blow around the park or leave dog mess on the grass or pathways.

Great park for the kids, nice walk with plenty of wildlife and special place of memories for me as I played there during my happy childhood and my now husband proposed to me on the hill overlooking the lake. Nice little cafe. Go early for parking close by but many side streets to park in if it's busy. X

Good place for walks and good to take dogs for walks. Pity some dog owners do not clean up after there dogs and throw dog bags in trees. Also some owners of large dogs do not muzzle were required and keep under control especially when small dogs are nearby

Seems very wasteful that the opportunity is missed for Taylor Park to have what could be an exciting, up to date cafe/restaurant in the now mainly obsolete building (with lovely wide views over the lake). Instead the present cafe is in a very small 'hut' with extremely ltd seating inside. It has nice homemade cakes etc but the chances to progress are thwarted. I've overheard the excuses such as, that St Helens council have severely ltd who is able to hire or own this Rangers building with their local laws and rules. Taylor Park is an extremely popular

Wide, well paved paths make this an ideal place for the whole family to go for a walk/wheel. Play equipment looked good and was busy. Car parks, although bigger than they used to be haven't really kept up with the modern family's needs to drive everywhere but you can find parking on the street outside. The big hill is always good in the snow

Plenty of parking. Very busy. Only little cafe open, but seemed to be managing. Seed can be bought from here to feed the ducks. Outside gym. Lovely play areas.

Lovely place to take the kids. Lovely walks, 2 really good parks and a lake. Also an ice cream van and a little tuk shop. Ice cream van only accepts cash and there isn't much parking, just a small car park so difficult if it's busy.
