We had a great day out here, so clean and the staff were very helpful. Plenty of activities to keep the kids occupied, high ropes, minature golf, great play area, plenty of benches for us older ones, lovely pond with lots of ducks and the fish joined in as well. The cherry blossom was lovely to admire and plenty of walking trails. We will be back for a longer visit next time.

Excellent grounds for a family picnic. There are rides, but it's not necessary to pay for those as the park is free. There is delicious soft serve ice cream, but the queue is long on a hot day, as you might expect. However, that queue is nothing compared to the queue inside at the Courtyard Cafe. Getting a coffee was a no go. Take your own.

Great place for a walk, lots of activities available for kids, you can extend your walk along the canal nearby as well. Car Park £1.50 for the day which is reasonable.

What a lovely place to spend the day! A really nice park with stunning scenery and plenty to do with the kids. There are some lovely gardens to enjoy & a crazy golf course as well as a climbing site. I Was very impressed with the courtyard food court which had a good sized seating area and lots of options of food choice at a reasonable price. I also very much enjoyed my pint of San Miguel later in the day as the kids had an ice-cream, possibly the first time I've ever had a pint in a park in the UK but it won't be the last.

Great facilities with cheap car parking. Our 4 yr. old grandson loved it. The adventure playground was well equipped and very safe. We also had a go at crazy golf, only £1 each for 18 holes. Very good day out.

First time visit and really impressed with the park. There are lots of things for children to do, a great playground and 2 crazy /mini golf courses. There is a large car park which costs only £3 for 4 hours. Its definitely worth a visit and we will most definitely return.

Awesome hidden gem of a place. Set in a beautiful rural countryside setting there is something for everyone. From tree top climbing to a stately home, we'll worth a visit I'm sure you won't be disappointed. The only downside I found was irresponsible dog owners who don't pick up after their dogs.

Great site for family outings. Good golf course + Mini golf, sprawling walking trails, mini steam engine, Haigh hall itself (finally being restored as of 8sep 2021). Stables courtyard with several lite bite and drink eateries. Cons: can get VERY busy... VERY busy... Lots of of events take place at site, so always loads of dogs and kids absolutely everywhere which can ruin the tranquility of the place. Still worth visiting for a good walk and coffee at the snack bars.

Lovely spot for a walk and some head space this time of year. Unfortunately a lot of untrained dogs off lead which isn't great when owners can't recall or don't know where their dogs are half the time but that's more an issue with people than Haigh hall.

This is a lovely place to visit, massive, good for families, presence of play ground for kids, golf, allow pets. Paid parking, presence of kitchen for meal if you want to eat out, stores to buy crafted items. It's good place to go if you love nature view.

Beautiful park and play are for an afternoon of leisure. Great walking routes with gorgeous views, one part allows you to see for some miles near the, what appeared, unused mansion on the grounds. There clearly was a train track that ran around the park once upon a time and its a shame it has now stopped as I could if imaged it being a great little adventure for the little ones heading through the forest. The play area is fantastic! Suitable for all ages, lovely views, and it's great to see the little ones enjoying themselves. Parking was quite cheap, you pay after you leave the park, but it can get busy so be prepared to either wait for a space or find one in and around the surrounding area. Cafe is on site as well as a crazy gold area, honestly it's a fabulous place to visit even on the wintery days that are becoming on us. Have a lovely day! 😍

A wonderful day out with lots of little play areas and beautiful walks. The train ride charges a donation and is lots of fun. Brilliant play park for both older and younger ones with a sand pit play area.

Great place for walks and a bite to eat. Alot of nature and miles to walk with or without your dog. The forests are kept in perfect condition. Many very nice views to just look at for hours must be visited to be truly appreciated plan to have many more happy walks here.

Haigh Hall is almost back!! I could wax lyrically- but just go ! Loads to do for all ages take a picnic the kids the dog, and grandma. 4 or 5 hrs on a nice day will fly by. Just get the hall and miniature railway finished, and it'll be back to the premier attraction it always was and should be - Well done 👏

Geeat park with nice play area for kids. It has nice walking trails too and a great view of city from high up. food options aew great in the Haigh Hall, and the cafes. When we lived in the area, it was a regular place for us to go for walks and to take our kid there. They also have ourdoor adventure/mini golf. In summers they have small rides too for youn kids. Overall I am very impressed how they have maintained the park.

A lovely spot for a day out with kids. A great playground, a nice simple orienteering course, and a decent quality mini golf course with fun water features and informative facts about the place. Lots of picnic benches dotted around including a few wheelchair accessible ones.

Went there for golf and at £35 for 2 we thought it was great value. A bit hilly towards the end but a lovely course. Could do with some work on the greens to speed them up

Lots to do for the family! 2 lots of golf , play area, high ropes, crafts and a butchers!!! There are places to eat and drink and a couple that allow well behaved dogs. The parking is reasonable and I think it was £1.50 for a few hours. The cafes in the square close at 4 . I liked all you kneed very friendly and nice cakes. It's a huge place so if you just fancy a nice walk it's also good for that!

Loads of different paths, wooded areas, mini golf, park & gardens. Family/dog friendly. Just a shame all the shops in the court yard weren't open and the one shop that was, only had Soya milk as a dairy free alternative. Pretty poor

Probably my favourite place to be. Been going regularly my whole life. Lucky to have it on our doorstep. Love that it's had an overhaul in the past few years, better than it ever was now. Really enjoy all the event planning throughout the year.

Lovely Country Park & great for kids. It's not just a fun fair & play area, but great country walks, cafe, shops & even a pub. The fun fair is only open at weekends now the kids are back at school.

Not been to haigh hall since my daughter's where young, couldn't believe how much it's changed. We took our grandson and he loved it, he even went into the wooded area with some other children and built a den. We took a picnic and sat at the tables. We didn't go into the cafés but they they looked really nice, the courtyard area looked lovely. Would definitely go again, it's a pity the miniature railway only runs on a Sunday though.

Beautiful park, I really loved! Excellent access, very clean, lots of beautiful places to walk, take pictures and a large play area for children. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a quiet place to meditate, picnic or escape from the madness of the big city. Car park: £3

Well worth a 40 minute drive. If you have kids, you want them entertained and you don't want to spend a couple of hundred quid doing it... this place is for you. Small fairground for little ones, very cheap, like 2 pounds a ride cheap. Fantastic courtyard with local craft and farm type shops, a nice cafe or 2 and a swing/slide type park to boot. All in the grounds of this fantastic Hall.

Great for a long walk. There are lots of squirrels. There is a market on every 3rd Sunday of the month and some of the stuff was lovely. The farm shop had some great produce too. There is lots for kids to do, with some rides and a playground. Only down side is there are no short trails from one side to the other- you have to take the long route which is 35-40 mins long. Good if you know ahead of time.

We always love coming here, just a few gripes from me, the only toilets are in the courtyard area which is miles away if you have toddlers new to being out of a nappy. We went to ride the train, half term so expected it to be running, apparently it only runs at weekends, so had 2 disappointed 3 year old. Other than that we love the food on offer, the drinks, and always plenty of space to park

So iddilic and peaceful listening to the birds and not the sound of traffic dog walkers, runners, families and people who have just finished work strolling...a fabulous place and to top it off at Haigh Hall there are amazing shops and places to eat...coffees to beers n gin and a cracking ice cream parlour that served the BEST coffee

Excellent park with great facilities including places to eat, toilets, a farm shop, a fun fair for young children, high ropes, woodland trails, an adventure play area, crazy golf and normal golf, and railway and probably more that I didn't see. Parking is pretty cheap at £3.50 for the day. No negatives. Something for everyone here.

Good sized park. Gets very busy at weekends and holidays. We visit during the week when it's a bit quieter. Nice area/woods for a walk and picnic, duck pond (needs a general clean up), ride-on trains (not seen these active for a number of years), good sized play ground for children, a number of other paid activities available should you like crazy golf, high ropes, etc. The walled gardens are nice for picnics and ball games (being respectful of others seated nearby and keeping fingers crossed dogs are controlled and called off when bounding up to young children). Kitchen gardens are pleasant to walk through when open. Parking is paid on exit. Toilets located need the food court; there are usually clean however, the soap dispenser in the ladies was broken on our previous visit. A number of options for coffee, cakes, ice cream and lunch. We have eaten at the cafe supplied by All You Knead. Nice variety of cakes, pies and drinks. Reasonably priced. The cakes were very big and staff were happy to provide additional cakes so children could share the brownie. Ice cream shop has lots of variety. Lots of dogs and, as with most public parks, there is the constant need to check grass when walking through so you don't tread in dog mess which hasn't been cleared away. Not sure when dogs became more important than people however, this is generally not a dog problem, this is an entitled, lazy dog owner problem.

So much to do which makes it a great day out with the kids! We played in the park, went for a walk around the woods, fed the ducks and played mini golf! Really enjoyed the day and would definitely recommend.
