A great little hill walk for history enthusiasts! It's a short and easy-enough climb. Some websites over-sell the views from the top, in my opinion, but they're still good, and the walk around the neighbouring woodland is really nice, too. The most exciting reason to visit though, I think, is to see the caves underneath; inside which have been found several generations' worth of remains of prehistoric people living in the caves. Have a quick read up before you go (I recommend using coflein.gov.uk)

Bit steep to start but not awful, some paths in the woods closed off so will have to return with better footwear. Worth the walk for the lovely views.

Land owner's don't mind us walking the dogs there. There are horse's and sheep at times but they are used to people and dog's. Following the footpath takes you to a nice woodland area

A wonderful tranquil place and was lucky to visit mid week and find the place to myself for contemplation and inner peace together with lovely woods to explore close to the cairn with abundant wild fauna to appreciate and panoramic views of North Wales. I was lucky to park on road close to the footpath up to the cairn, so it saved a little bit of effort although there is a car park in the village to cater for visitors further down the hill.
