Visited here for a festive evening tea. The entrance is manned by a doorman who asks why you're here. The entrance is grandiose with a Minton tiled floor and beautiful red carpeted ornate brass balaustraded sweeping staircase. This is a historic building with museum-like sculptures and huge oil paintings/artworks in every room. Antique furniture - fine artworks seem to be around every corner! The view from the upper windows down Castle Street is photograph worthy especially at night. Our food on the day was beautifully presented and the staff were extremely attentive, polite and knowledgeable. Oh the toilets are spot on too! πŸ‘πŸΌ

Mothers day afternoon tea was excellent from start to finish! Top class customer service from the very friendly and interpersonal staff, along with the actual afternoon tea being lovely! In addition, very surprised but delighted to be given a full tour of the beautiful building by the fantastic Andrew, who is a credit to the city and really made our day memorable. Thank you Andrew!

One of the most beautiful buildings in a city of beautiful buildings. Frequently open to the public it's also a wonderful venue for business functions, weddings, parties etc

If you get the chance to visit and see inside, its, well worth it, amasing place, You can also get married there to, stand on the balcony where many Royals have stood before, That in itself is worth the visit.

One of the nicest places you can have your wedding service. Parked outside is one of our Daimler limousines waiting for the bride and groom so we can take them to their reception. #liverpooltownhall #dalestreet #weddingcarhireliverpool #wedding #liverpool #vintageweddingcars #bride #groom #barringtonsweddingcars

I used to go there for a job interview in the past. It is such an old building. I prefer looking at modern buildings and the taller the better just like the skyscrapers in Asia. Good if you like looking at historic buildings, but not for me.

We recently got married at Liverpool Town Hall. What an incredible venue! A huge thank you to Cait for all her help organising on the run up to our special day. All our guests commented on the stunning building and helpful staff. We are so grateful and honoured to have got married in such an iconic building!

Such an amazing building. Very humbling being in a building, where decisions were made about Liverpool, before the USA existed..... some wonderfully historic pieces on display and the decor is, just, wow. The staff were exceptional in their customer service and I felt extremely privileged to have been asked to attend there.

Had a chance to have a good wander round a couple of years ago at Lightnight, beautiful building with some striking architecture, its a shame it's not open to the public more often

Luna Cinema experience. Lovely & festive ambience, cosy bean bags if you chose the option and classical movies (in my experience "Die Hard"). It could have been a bit more cosier, but I would still recommend if you get a chance.

Couldn't get the birth certificate as the finance side wasn't available.. and my partner needed the toilet and they only had female available and wouldn't allow him to use.

Didn't realise they did tours here & as I pass it most days have always wanted to see inside. Fascinating tour just over an hour long. It is a beautiful building steeped in Liverpools history & Sean was a knowledgeable & interesting guide. I'd recommend booking onto this as a local or a visitor

Beautiful interior with the most amazing chandeliers and mirrors in the ballroom. The silverware is extraordinary and we were so lucky to be given a guided tour by a very friendly and knowledgeable man, we learned a great deal about our own city that we didn't know 😁

A fantastic place to visit. Check out the stunning chandeliers each having 20k crystals, each valued at 400k!! Staircase replicated by Harland and Wolfe for the Titanic. My treat was to stand on the famous balcony, where The Beatles stood in July 1964, a few months after their first successful visit to USA

As authentic in architectural terms as you can wish to imagine. The grandure has been carefully looked after and preserved for posterity and historical artifacts from history to the most contemporary achievements of this magnificent city, adorn the cabinets. The Council Chamber and the Grand Ballroom are just two of the wonderful things that you can witness if you are lucky enough to be invited inside.

We had our wedding ceremony in the small ballroom. All the team were amazing from start to finish and nothing was too much trouble. We had the most amazing day, the team were so lovely and made sure everything went perfectly. Clearing the ceremony room to allow us to get some pictures in there was really special and we’re so grateful.

Aa stunning venue, a real gem on the map of Liverpool. I would also like to express my gratitude to Aaron, a staff member, who was extremely polite and helpful. He definitely deserves a payrise for his exceptional service.

I've been living in Liverpool for the past ten month but this is the first time I see this fabulous place. Why do you hide it! It's like you need to go through a secret passage to discover it
