Needs some work, damp, leaking bathrooms, loose taps, peeling wallpaper, extension leads everywhere, numerous bulbs gone, dribbling showers, blocked shower, dodgy electrics, broken taped up windows, windows poorly maintained, an air of neglect about the grounds, and you have to bring your own toilet paper! Otherwise a lovely stay with some great, strong women

Stayed here 3 nights last August as part of our best friends wedding Anniversary celebrations, was an absolutely stunning location topped off by glorious weather! The castle house itself is immaculate and in excellent condition, so many rooms nooks and crannies to investigate, well equipped kitchen, a kitchenette and another kitchen in the extended part upstairs. All the rooms were beautiful and big enough for purpose. Cant fault the place for the price to hire, would definitely do it all again.

What a fabulous place to celebrate my sisters 60th birthday. We LOVED it. Janet, Wayne and the staff were fantastic. Yes it’s a castle so some things are aged but that just adds to its appeal. We wanted for nothing. Janet, Wayne allowed us to visit prior to our event. We used the castle’s suggested caterers Peninsula Catering the food was superb. Nice venue but getting a little tatty. Wasn't impressed with our bedroom. Had to pass through another bedroom to get out. The doors were definitely homemade and not very well made. The kitchen dishwasher was really small and no where up to coping with a large number of guests

I cannot fault my stay here. The service I received here was outstanding. I was recommended a stay here, so me along with a bunch of my friends took the trip and boy was it worth it! What a spectacular sight in the heart of Wales. The effort put into the service and support with our stay was superb and there was no hesitation to help with anything during the stay. The whole team here deserve a medal with their efforts in maintaining such a beautiful castle. Highly recommend to anyone!

Had a wedding here at the beginning of the year and cannot praise Janet enough! Having to organise a wedding from the other side of the country was difficult but Janet put me at ease. Nothing was too much trouble and even replying to emails and inquired at all hours. The whole wedding weekend was amazing. Everyone enjoyed and the whole weekend was incredible, from the venue, the food and the grounds. Thank you again for such a wonderful weekend, shall be visiting again!

Awesome place to walk around and explore, paranormal activity in those caves. Creepy.

Westbury Castle was the perfect venue for our wedding, facilitated by Janet throughout. From our first visit to the wedding day itself Janet was very helpful, allowing us to visit on a few occasions to take measurements and figure out sleeping arrangements! We had a most wonderful wedding weekend, thank you Janet!

Janet has been lovely so far and very amenable with our arrangements and allowing us to visit before our big day. Can't wait to spend my wedding weekend here in October!

We have stayed at Westbury castle a few years ago and had a fabulous time with my friends and family. We booked again to stay this December but due to the local restrictions we had to cancel. We found Janet really easy to communicate with and very helpful. We received our deposit back without any issues and within a few hours of requesting it. I would not hesitate to book and stay with Janet and Westbury castle in the future. Steve.

Our friend booked the castle for his wife's birthday. What a fantastic weekend. The castle was great, as a former convent it has been converted into a really nice space. The room are huge and comfortable. You basically look after yourselves. There were 37 of us so some stayed elsewhere but all the activities that were booked (separately) and food (external caterers) took place at the castle. Lovely, lovely weekend away.
