I have been living here for the past 4 weeks and will be here for the next 2. Unfortunately I don't get time to eat at breakfast or lunch but the food I have eaten in the evening has been spectacular. Each room I have been in is also clean and big (so far I have had 4 different rooms) all are at the same standard. The staff are very accomidating, friendly and approachable if you need anything. Defiantly recommend staying at this hotel if visiting Liverpool. I have been to others in the area, and they do not mach up to here. Big thumbs up from me.

We stayed here for 2 nights (Saturday to Monday). We were hoping to check in early at 2pm but unfortunately there were no rooms ready so we couldn’t (which tbf check in is meant to be 4pm but thought we’d chance it). They did allow us to leave our bags which was handy. The room itself was clean and the bed was comfy. Lighting in the room (for makeup) was better than a lot of hotels but still not amazing. The shower was really nice and they provide you with shower gel too. It was a little loud at points as you could hear people on the corridor and the slamming of doors but unless they completely sound proof the room this probably can’t be avoided. The air con also wasn’t the best but it did the job. We didn’t have the breakfast so can’t comment on that but would say that all of the staff we met were really friendly and super helpful too

We chose a different location for our second Premier Inn stay in Liverpool, as we originally planned on taking the metro to Chester so it was handy for the station. But the rail strike made it difficult to plan for. Our room (232) was on the second floor at the coldest time during this recent bad weather. The 28 degrees heat setting just couldn't be attained although our friends just 2 doors away said their room (202) was very warm. On our last evening as we arrived back in the late afternoon there were many guests checking in and several were allocated in the rooms just around the corner from ours. That evening was the only time the thermostat worked properly and our room was warm when we went to bed and when we awoke this morning. So, I must assume the rooms which ran behind ours on the same corridor had been empty before and no heat was passing through them. It made the stay a little uncomfortable, to say the least. We had to keep the curtains closed all the time to keep the cold from the window bouncing right back at us in the room. Everything else was as we were expecting. The bathroom and shower was good, extra towels and tea making stuff supplied by the reception staff when requested. A good choice for breakfast and food served on the buffet was hot. A break for 3 nights midweek for 2 people at under £200 with breakfast in the lead up to Christmas wasn't to be sniffed at. We made our reservation towards the end of August. EDIT to add: I was contacted by Premier Inn for more information to investigate the room temperature issue. I was advised later that under their sleep guarantee rule, they are refunding 2 nights of our room rate. I wasn't aware of the guarantee so this came as a surprise. Thank you!

Room was clean and tidy and the bed was very comfortable. Great location to walk into the centre with the shops so close by. Have to say we were disappointed to be turned away 15 minutes before check in which was 3pm, only to arrive at 3:20 to a long queue out the door. Took us 35 minutes to check in and for a member of staff to barge past clearly in a fluster with apologising was disappointing. You would think for the sake of 15 minutes and quite a few annoyed customers, they would have been abit flexible.

As always the staff downstairs were excellent and the breakfast was good. But we found the room to be very poor. No towels no toilet rolls. Didn't see much staff going about due to shortages.

Stopped for 1 night. It was immaculately clean. Great service from staff. Polite and friendly. Position of the Inn was great for what we needed. It was really quiet. Good that the Inn has a nice bar/restaurant too. Nice hot breakfasts the next morning.

Pleasantly surprised with this hotel. Absolute bargain rooms in the city centre. Very close to everything in town and quiet enough at night. Didn't use the bar or restaurant but would stay again.

Good location in the centre. In the evening a little edgy and would not be safe for a lone female traveller. Check in smooth. Unhelpful at other times. Rooms: Comfy bed, dirty bath with hairs, mugs both dirty, cold room, smell coming from the bathroom, curtain broken. The rooms need an upgrade. Generally unclean feeling throughout. Disappointing. WiFi is terrible!

The staff were excellent, the accommodation was clean, warm and inviting. The meal deal was excellent, and to top it off, getting a reduction on the NCP overnight car parking was a bonus. I'd recommend the hotel to friends. Just a word of warning the NCP is the 2nd car park, and don't park in the Q park by mistake it cost me £2.20 for around ten minutes before I moved my car.

Spent a night with friends. Location good for night life and train station. Rooms clean, love the idea you can get your own coffee and milk as needed still need to ask for decaf. Check in and out quick and easy

Decent hotel 10-11 minutes walk from Liverpool Lime Street station. Food was great. A bit understaffed as my key stopped working and I had to search to find someone to fix it. Heating took a while to kick in but eventually worked fine. Also had to pay an extra 5 pounds for decent Internet - this is a rip-off; it should be included. No toilet paper rolls, just small paper squares.

Room OK clean tidy. Breakfast not so good had to ask for spoons fir cereal. Cooked not so good, hard scrambled eggs very poor selection when I went for breakfast at 8.15, no cups for coffee had to ask, when checking in arrived a little early so when to bar and couldn't even buy a drink while waiting to check in, been to many premier inns and this was prob the worse one for breakfast

Despite the staff being obviously busy they were all happy to stop and help you with any queries, from the staff on reception to the house keeping team they were all really friendly. Great location for the transport links and stuff in Liverpool. Room was tidy. Would stay again.

This is my new regular hotel in Liverpool after my previous regular one was so bad it should have been shut down so I reported it to environmental health. The Premier Inn however is great. It's clean and tidy and although it could do with a bit of a refresh you know what you are going to get. Be aware though, make sure you have plenty of time on a morning if you want to leave your bag because they are understaffed. The staff are really helpful and friendly when you can find them, though. The location of this hotel is ideal for shopping etc but it doesn't feel great, especially on a night. That seems to be a more recent development, not sure if maybe a shelter for more vulnerable people, or similar might have opened nearby. Maybe not. Don't get me wrong, I don't think anyone would cause trouble but it's just a bit lairy at times. I don't think I'd recommend going out alone on a night to more timid people. Tesco just round the corner is very handy for snacks and an easy ten minute walk from the station. I'll continue staying here. Also, the windows open!

I was checked In by a staff member named Aron, he was very polite. The room was great and very clean. I was very happy with my stay and will return when I come back for business purposes

I'm a regular to this hotel as it's generally one of the cheaper within Liverpool. I've never had any issues here, it's what you'd expect from a premier Inn; clean, friendly staff and the basics. Location is a 4 for me as I work up in the Hope Street area.

Toilets were blocked which left a disgusting smell throughout the premises. Our request for a specific room type wasn't granted. The location was dark and dinghie, definitely not worth the price.

Curtains rail broken and left hanging unable to shut and with all the street lights was not the greatest sleep. Bathroom had a strong smell of stale cigarettes.

Clean and quiet room. Lovely bathroom with bath and power shower. Secure entry to hotel after 10pm. Staff were welcoming, helpful and friendly. Tea and coffee were in plentiful supply. Great location for docks and city centre. Good selection of breakfast dishes. Will defo stay here again, hence all 5 stars from us.

All staff were professional and pleasant to deal with. I didn't have a great night's sleep any night during my stay. Despite the windows being closed, the noise from outside was still getting into my room. Please invest money in soundproofing the room from what's going on outside. I'm unsure what the windows were, but they didn't look like triple glazed or quadruple-glazed windows. Maybe this could help fix this issue? The sink in my room was a bit dirty. There was hair from a previous guest stuck in the sink, which was an unpleasant and unhygienic sight. The floor of the bath was very slippery. Please look into increasing the grip on the floor with a mat. A grab rail on the wall would also be a welcome addition. It felt a bit unsafe, so please address this. Regarding breakfast: I was expecting more options. I like bananas and thought it was a pity I could not source one for my breakfast. I would have also preferred the hotel to accommodate guests travelling early to the Open in Hoylake. A 6:30am breakfast was not early enough. The wifi that I paid extra money for was extremely disappointing. The signal was not strong enough, and I could not experience good enough speeds from my room.

Remember to use HoteITully.ᴄᴏm when booking any resort. This website will compare hundreds of booking websites and normally will have prices a lot cheaper compared to others! You're welcome :)! Great stay at Premier Inn Moorfields, we booked two rooms for our trip to Liverpool for the weekend, rooms clean and tidy, bed comfortable, great location. and not far from train station choice of breakfast which was good. all staff friendly and helpful. First time in Liverpool and will defiantly be back I left my headphones in room and when called they had been found, I sent a prepaid envelope for them to be returned, received them today, and cant thank the staff enough.

Perfect location, great room. Had a meal in the restaurant, returned the first as the steak was over cooked (ordered medium rare, received medium well). The second came out similar, maybe slightly worse but still charged. Spoke to the manager who was adamant it was fine and was made to pay.

Room large and clean. Service great, superb team, thanks Matthew, Emma and John for making us so welcome. Brilliant steaks, cooked to perfection. Thanks Chef 😊 Good location for Liverpool City Centre.

Sorry I wouldn't stay here again. Great location, but there's a funny smell (mix of damp, vomit and cleaning products) in reception area. Breakfast was poor and dry. Bacon tasted like the smell in reception. Some Premier Inns are really good but sadly not this one.

Sign in staff great. Restaurant the WORST I've ever been, food was awful both evening meal and breakfast. Understaffed for sure and had to even wait see if they had a chef!!! Poor and no where near a typical Premier Inn

Booked a room so I could enjoy a night out in Liverpool. The room was clean and the bed was comfy. Can't really comment (or complain) about anything else as I pretty much walked in and fell asleep. The staff on reception were great and very helpful. When I couldn't check in early as the room wasn't ready they happily put my bags in their locked baggage storage area. Would definitely stay there again as the central location is brilliant if you are out and about in Liverpool city centre.

The staff greeted us kindly and didn’t take long for our keys, has 4 floors and a decent view. Like other Premier Inn’s, everything was simple and pretty comfortable. Location is not far from restaurants and streets, overall is OK. 👍 8.5/10

Me and my sister went here while we watched Russell Howard. The room was cozy, staff were friendly and helpful. The location was ideal, right in the centre and not far to walk to plenty of places and to the harbour.

Family holiday, the room was very basic but good value for money. 2 nights stay, and the end of our holiday was ruined at the end. Firstly our room as not cleaned after the first night, then an hour before check out time, we couldn’t get back into our room. Then to make it worst, we were charged £46 for car parking instead of £18. Would have been great if staff mentions this at check in and help travellers who had been travelling for over 6 hours in the car, which car park to park at for the discount. Stupid mistake on my behalf but would really improve services and eliminate a bad experience.

Really nice hotel. Fab location. Very clean and tidy rooms. Bath with shower in the rooms which was great. No o site parking but carpark around the corner discounted to £9 for 24hrs. Only downside was there was no iron in the room.

A great central location, car park just opposite the hotel. 10 minutes walk to cavern club and all the action. Plenty of local restaurants. Up to the usual standard of Premier Inn. Would definitely use again.

Outstanding location for the city centre and docks. Up a side street which is ideal in a city as it was quiet most of the time. Parking across the road discounted to £9 per 24hours. The room was immaculate and the staff attentive. Enjoyed it so much we have booked again.

The joy of a Premier Inn is you always know what you are going to get. Beds are always comfortable. Breakfast is always nice. Shower is always hot and strong. Most of my visits are with work, so this ticks all my boxes. However, this location has the added advantage of a very central location right in the heart of Liverpool.

Good hotel stayed here for a weekend. Great location. Hotel was clean and tidy, staff were very friendly and professional. Room was excellent and clean spacious with fresh towels daily and plenty of tea & coffee. Bar was good in hotel nice place to relax for a few drinks before heading out for a night out in Liverpool. Would definitely return nice place to stay.

Great location slap bang in the middle of Liverpool City centre. 10 min walk from Liverpool one . About the same from Lime St Train Station. Moorfields train station 3 min walk from the hotel. Lovely staff, very spacious rooms and comfortable beds. Download the Premier Inn App to get better price's than Booking.com

Handy for centre of town and Albert dock. Didn't need parking this time but NCP across the road with discount for hotel guests. Breakfast was good but maybe avoid the fried eggs unless you want to play squash with them

Stayed as a family of 4 for 2 nights. Staff were great and couldn't do anything more for you. Breakfast is good and the standard Premier Inn offering. The whole place was clean and tidy. 10 min walk from Liverpool Lime Street with plenty of bars, restaurants and shops nearby. Only downside was the paintwork in the room was starting look a bit shabby with shadows on the walls from where beds had previously been. Could have done with 2 spare pillows instead of 1.

We had a great few days away. Location was good we were able to get to see all the attractions within walking distance. Staff were very helpful. Only downside was the air-conditioning had a mind of its own. We wasn't able to turn it down but came on in the middle of night. Got up freezing cold . That was sorted when we reported the problem to staff. Would I recommend staying at this location 🤔 yes 😃

We had a lovely stay here for my daughters birthday. It was just a short walk to the centre and Matthew Street. Overall the staff were very welcoming, helpful and friendly, it was unfortunate that one member of the team, on the reception desk was quite rude when we went to check in. However the rest were fabulous! The room was clean and spacious, breakfast was amazing and the provided gluten free bread for toast too. We were able to leave our bags I a bag store to save us carrying them with us on checkout day.

Our stay was amazing! Very happy with the room and the services. Special mentioned to the bar staff on Wednesday 6th April at 11:30pm! They were absolutely amazing and lovely and the best service I've had, also made me an amazing hot chocolate! Thank you very much

The place in very decent, clean enough, staff very friendly and location excellent. A big TV in the room, if you are interested in that sort of stuff ;) Possibility of renting umbrella - excellent :) Surprisingly it can be pretty loud outside the window though. But I wouldn't expect that to happen often, as it's more of a quiet street.

Just spent 2 nights here and am so happy with the way we were looked after. Have to definitely mention John who really took time to help us with where to go around Liverpool and how to get there, he also looked after us well in the resteraunts and due to staff shortage still smiling after a double shift. The only criticism I would have was they ran out of quite a few of the main courses on our second day so choices were quite limited, but still lovely. I would definitely stay there again x

Wonderful, kind, and attentive staff. Comfortable, clean rooms. The restaurant was also very good and we also had a few fun nights chilling out in the bar. This location is out of the central Liverpool area by only a few minutes of walking, but feels more relaxed while still being near everything. I couldn't be happier especially due to the affordable price of this hotel.

Really nice hotel. Got a great price. Very clean and relaxing rooms, loved the purple backlight on the beds. Comfortable beds. Brilliant shower with complimentary shower gel/shampoo. The room was very spacious and had air conditioning. Can’t really comment on the staff as I didn’t really need any help with anything but was very understaffed. Would use again.

The room is what you would expect..4 stars.. But, We could not get to our Wedding meal due to very lame taxi service... So Tom and a great Premier inn staff sorted us out a table for ten people at the last minute. They made our night,. Extremely friendly and amazing service, A night to remember. Thank you so very much, and that's why the 5 stars.

Great location, just off a side street and away from noisy bars. I didn’t drive but there appeared to be plenty of parking spaces. The room was clean and modern. We had a double and single bed for two men which was ideal. The bar had a limited selection of drinks but stayed open late. We didn’t eat there though so can’t comment on food but based on everything else I’d definitely return to this hotel again.

Friendly, helpful staff. Well stocked breakfast. Cocktail happy hour before 7pm. Well presented rooms with really comfy beds. Handy voucher for NCP car park opposite on Vernon St, charged at £9 for 24 hours. Useful 12 o'clock check out.

Great Premier inn! Beds lovely and comfortable as always Location is pretty much perfect I mean it's a short walk into city centre so what more could you want. Staff were okay and it was nice and quiet and for once we wasn't woken up by cleaners! 😅

Arrived Friday night but they couldn't do one of the cocktails as had run out of the mixer. No brandy of any description. Couldn't do tea or hot chocolates as the equipment was out of order. Espresso Martini shown on posters but no longer on menu. So for a major night of the week without a full stock and broken equipment is poor management in our view. Staff were nice and very helpful. Rooms were up to the usual good standard.

Picked this hotel as it was the only Premier Inn with parking opposite and close to the World Museum. Very friendly staff, albeit a bit rushed off their feet, made checking in easy late at night. The room was fairly modern, with a comfy bed & soft bedding and a decent sized bath. We paid to have the breakfast which was actually pretty nice and ‘help yourself’, so you can have as much as you like. Unfortunately, this was all let down by the placement of the room. This room faced the front of the building, and the car parks, meaning we couldn’t have the window open due to loud drunks, cars going up and down, noisy shutters in the carparks and seagulls 😂. It wouldn’t be so bad if the air con was actually on, but it wasn’t so we had to have the window shut and suffer under a thick duvet. I know external factors aren’t Premier Inn’s fault, but they do add up to the overall experience. Overall, if you intend to stay here, ask the staff for a room that faces the back, and hopefully you will miss most of the noise. My only requests are if the air con could be turned on as we like, and not the hotel deciding if it’s warm enough or not, and perhaps a thinner duvet in the summer.
