They cancel your booking the day off due to their own error, miscommunication and incompetency of their own staff for overbooking their rooms. Then they move you to a complete downgrade of a hotel way outside of the centre with absolutely nothing around it. We had booked this hotel for a very obvious and specific reason. It’s The Beatles hotel and our room had a balcony and other specific features we wanted which we DID NOT get at the downgrade of a hotel they shoved us in last minute. So to get back to the train station cost us an extra £25 in taxi fare. The other hotel also charged us a deposit of £20 and told us about the charge for the mini bar/fridge (which we didn’t use anyway, we used it to keep our own drinks cool but the fridge didn’t work so they just stayed warm/room temperature all night). Now they have refused point blank to give you us refund for a hotel and room we never stayed in. What an absolute joke. Telling us it’s basically our own fault, when we literally just got off the train and then they phoned us to cancel our room. How is that our fault? We were overly courteous to all the staff too when we were told by one of their representatives that dozens of other people weren’t when they were also told their rooms was cancelled. The representative just blagged a load of rubbish to us, told us she’d leave us her card and phone number if there was any problems but never did. I hope this review makes people think twice about staying here. Because if they screw up again and again. They’re just keeping peoples hard earned money for nothing. Paying for rooms that people never get the opportunity to stay in.

Not clear there was a lift on arrival to get to reception so had to carry cases up the entrance stairs. Not offered help with bags to room. Had to change room as various issues with the first but waited around for an hour and two phone calls to Reception before we were moved. Room was extremely noisy day and night so if staying bring ear plugs! Although we were on 1st Floor it may be better on the upper floors. Breakfast was awful! They did not have any dairy free or gluten free options for anything. Even Premier Inn have this. Food quality was very poor. On check out we were not even asked if we had a pleasant stay. I would not see this as a 4 star very disappointed as the concept of the Hotel is fantastic if you are a Beatles fan but poorly executed.

The location of the hotel is convenient and central to everything. The breakfast was mediocre, pastries were hard and bacon was chewy. You have to keep hunting down staff for a coffee refill. Room was facing the back so fairly quiet. But the rooms have seen better days. Housekeeping staff were exceptional.

***EDIT*** From the response to this review, it's apparent that it hasn't been properly read by the management. To say they weren't given an opportunity to correct the issues is ridiculous. The hotel had every opportunity but failed massively and really let myself and my partner down. That concludes that I now definitely won't be returning again.... REVIEW Air conditioning did not work on one of the hottest days of the year. I was staying on the 5th floor so also had no windows to open. The room must have been close to 30 degrees. I went down and told reception and they couldn't do anything apart from offer a complimentary drink. I moaned to the managed in the morning and was given a complimentary discount on my stay. The manager and staff were very nice, but I was disappointed overall with the hotel. Air con is a must for a hot summer day, but also I felt the room did not live up to the expectation of the hotel. The reception and entrance is stunning, really inviting. But I was very underwhelmed by the room I stayed in - with the only beatles reference being a picture on the wall. I feel in different circumstances, I could have enjoyed my stay at this hotel, but after my experience, in future I would likely book into a premier in for half the price

I love Liverpool. Stayed in loads of the hotels from titanic to travelodge. Decided to stay here..unfortunately it didn't live up to expectation. We stayed in room close to the lift which was unbelievably noisy..all night. The bar had no lager or cider on draft and the fab four cocktail bar was unexpectedly closed. The room was..um OK.. the breakfast was undercooked. Black pudding was raw inside and burnt outside..eggs were uncooked almost..and before liam pops up I did complain only to get oh no one else seems bothered. Also the dishes at breakfast were almost all unclean..I didn't eat for fear of being poisoned. I gave a 3 based on location

We went in the week, so not sure if it would be too noisy at the weekends.. but I absolutely 💯 loved the hotel as close to everything. The staff were brilliant in cleanliness and a fantastic selection of breakfast 👌 5 stars from me Hope this helps

Received a gift voucher for dinner, bed and breakfast. As a Beatles fan was very much looking forward to the experience. Impressive building from the outside and a well appointed reception but the public areas were lacking in authentic Beatles memorabilia. Mostly just photos, was hoping for the Beatles equivalent of the Hard Rock Cafe. There was a cool Yellow submarine jukebox which didn't appear to work. Room was lovely with a nice picture of Paul as a young boy but was lacking in any other Beatles touches. Clean and comfortable with everything you could need for a nice stay. The food in the restaurant was lovely but we were the only customers and there was no atmosphere whatsoever, or any Beatles music. Sadly on returning to our room the rest of our evening and our sleep was disturbed by the noise from Mathew Street. While external noise is obviously beyond the control of the hotel the guest experience is not and if they can't do more to soundproof the rooms in question then they shouldn't be selling them. The least you expect from any hotel is a good night's sleep. An offer of earplugs at 12.30am is not what I would call good customer service. Raised our issues on checkout and were given contact details for the Customer Relations Executive, sent a lengthy email 4 days ago but have yet to receive a response. This hotel could be something really special but at the moment it falls well short.

Lovely hotel, room was nice, clean and beds very comfy. All the staff we spoke to were friendly and helpful, a credit to the hotel. Location is perfect, two minutes walk round the corner to the Cavern Club and all that Mathew Street has to offer. It's also only a shortish walk in the other direction to a number of shops and restaurants. We'll definitely stay again.

Stayed here for work in June. The building has a lot of history. The theme isn't my cup of tea, but if you are into the Beatles then it might be. Location was convenient for work, and great for the Cavern Quarter. What really let this hotel down is the poor breakfast, in terms of quality and organization. I also never got an invoice for the room, and I have phoned three times and emailed and to this date have not received an invoice. Which I need for work!

Disappointed, charging for upgrade was expensive although previously offered cheaper after first booking. Breakfast charge was £10 if booked day before £15 if booked on the day. We were only given coffee at table, no offers of refills. Only fruit on offer was strawberries and fresh or tinned grapefruit which I can’t eat. Eggs were hard although looked soft, had obviously been there a long time. Staff seemed more intent on clearing up, rather than serving. Dressing gowns in bathroom smelled like they needed a wash. It was lovely to see all Beatles pictures round hotel and music on all time I did feel the hotel made money from Beatles names and although that was very nice, they charged a lot for it. Quality wasn’t good .

Fantastic hotel for a Beatles fan or not, spacious rooms, lovely rain shower head in the bath, a touch of luxury with a towel warmer in the bathroom. Just around the corner from Methew Street, easy walking to near by restaurants and shopping district, easy walking Albert Dock, nice hotel bar in the lobby with good cider on tap! And beers too I guess if you like that sort of thing! 10/10 would stay again!

The assist room given had few issues. Light panel on my side of bed didn't work, couldn't be repaired, made getting up in dark to go to loo quite eventful and reception just shrugged their shoulders as there was no.other assist room available in this good sized hotel. Had to put up with it for the 3 night stay. Curtains were filthy all along bottom was black. Scraped painting on deep ledge that had to be used to put clothes as no accessible shelving or drawers available. Only 4 hangers in the cupboard behind door I couldn't get in to use. Had to phone down for more towels on 2nd day as housekeeping had taken both away even tho we hung them over the rail. Had to go to reception as no one answered our call down as housekeeping had not replenished milk supply. Poor understanding of how accessible plug points need to be. Only 2 in whole room I could stretch too all rest smart plugs. I shouldn't have had to stretch as could have fallen over easily. All this brought to front of house attention but all we got was shrug shoulders. "Nothing they could do". Totally different experience from 5 years ago but would definitely look elsewhere for next visit.

Very strange experience all round. The room was comfortable and clean, however was a little dated. Multiple switches and sockets didn’t work in the room, and it definitely felt rough around the edges. Very noisy from the street outside. The main reason I wanted to leave this review was the truly awful breakfast. We queued for a fairly long time, and on getting a table - the whole room was filthy, with dirty plates and glasses piled up on every surface. There was genuinely next to nothing to chose from for breakfast. There was no bread, no fruit, no juice, no cups or plates anywhere, and the hot food was both undercooked and overcooked at the same time. The poor staff were clearly stressed, only two people were working in the whole place (including the cook), and weren’t able to keep up with anything. We were kicked out of the bar at 10:30, which seems remarkably early for a hotel bar. While I get it’s a Beatles themed hotel, the same 5 or so songs played on loop in the bar the whole time.

Don’t get caught up in the novelty of this hotel. We were excited to experience a Beatles themed stay and were extremely disappointed. To start, there was only 1 room card available - we asked for another card and they “don’t have enough”. Because you need your card to turn the lights/power on in your room we couldn’t leave and return unless we were together. Our room was located right above an alley which was a bit of a noise issue in the early mornings. The air conditioning did not work the whole time we were there as well. We notified the hotel and their solution was a portable unit which did not make any difference at all. The room was overly uncomfortable. We had asked for another solution and the hotel could not accommodate. There are some cool Beatles photographs and themes on property, but not much in the way of one-of-a-kind memorabilia. I would strongly recommend finding another hotel and visiting a museum instead for a better experience. Unfortunately won’t be staying here again.

From arriving to leaving we were made to feel special... That's a great feeling!!! Awesome hotel memorabilia, incredible rooms. The staff make you smile , and are so so friendly. Can't recommend this place enough. And as for its location, open the window and smell, hear, all that is Liverpool ❤ on point. Really fantastic place .. Thanks everyone for an amazing beatlicious experience x

I purchased the Ultimate Beatles Package as a gift for my boyfriend and the hotel did not deliver the whole package which I paid for. The package was meant to include 2 cocktails in Bar Four however upon arrival we were told that Bar Four was closed (even though I emailed before booking to check everything was back to normal after covid and was told explicitly that we would be able to have cocktails in the bar). The package was also meant to include entrance to the Cavern Club however this was also unavailable (again I had emailed before arrival to check this was available and was pre-warned it was not available but told I would be reimbursed for this cost). I flagged these issues to management as we checked out and was assured by Liam that he would contact me in the next few days to compensate me for the missing items. A number of weeks passed by and I never received any contact from management despite a number of follow up emails from myself. It has now been 5 months since I stayed at the hotel and despite countless emails to management I continue to be ignored and not compensated for the items I paid for which were not delivered.

Stayed for just a night but was great. Friendly staff. Breakfast was very nice, self service, so could pig out if you felt like it. Bedroom was large and the bed was great, very comfortable. TV was very easy to use and even had the ability to cast to it, very handy.

Best option in Liverpool! Unforgettable experience of living within the Beatles atmosphere! The kindness of the staff (Maria, Moe, Muhhammad) is outstanding! They provided all the support for us to have an unforgettable Christmas at this hotel. The hotel provides an immersive experience in the Beatles history, through music, posters, videos etc. The bedrooms are big and silent. The location is perfect, near the Cavern Clube, the Beatles statue, the Beatles Museum, the Beatles Story (in the docks), and a lot of good restaurants.

Our room was very nice and clean. We added on breakfast and there was plenty of choice for us, even as vegans. Unfortunately though the thing that let our stay down was the heat in the room - during the night and and after having a shower it was stifling but there was no way to open a window and the a/c did little to help. Overall though we really enjoyed our stay here - the location is very central and ideal!

We have stayed at this hotel in the past, it was the place to stay but on this occasion we felt that the standard has slipped. I really don't know how people have given a 4 out of 5 or 5 out of 5 rating. We stayed on a special deal and were happy with value for money but if we'd have been paying full price we would have been very disappointed. It felt like it had just reopened that day. The hotel is beginning to look a bit tired, especially in the main bar area. The staff were lovely and accommodated where possible. I asked to see the cocktail menu. This was just a piece of scruffy paper with cocktail names printed on it but no explanation of the ingredients. When I asked staff they struggled to know and had to refer to other papers. Cocktails were £9.50 to £10.50 so I expect tip top cocktails and a decent cocktail menu for that price, just not classy enough like it used to be. Some staff looked a bit scruffy, whites were not clean and fresh looking. Dirty glasses and empty bottles left on the tables for too long considering the bar was not busy at this point. On checking in on 28th March the clock was still one hour behind in main reception. Our room was very nice and comfortable with complimentary toiletries. Breakfast was good but a little chaotic. Cups and saucers on tables but no teaspoons anywhere. Not enough condiments on the tables, everyone was borrowing from one another. Staff lovely and as helpful as could be. The hotel is very close to Matthew Street where there is a lot of night life each night so some element of noise until early hours of the morning but very handy for the nightlife if that's what you're looking for. Hotel very well situated for all nightlife, shops, bars restaurants etc. About a 15min walk from Lime St Station. Main disappointment for me was the bar area, it's looking scruffy, standards have dropped. Tables were dirty looking , glass tops left looking streaky and grubby looking. If you're going to serve cocktails have bar staff that are trained for this. I had an amazing cocktail at Aether cocktail bar for £9.00 which was delivered with excellent presentation. Not sure we would return to this hotel, probably only when it's a special offer deal. It has definitely lost it's classy style and sparkle and just doesn't feel like it's the place to go anymore.

Wow, this was an amazing stay, from the moment we walked in we were met by AMBER and everything was fine... literally round the corner from "The Cavern" We asked AMBER about booking the Magical Mystery Bus Tour and she gave us the option of a private Taxi tour...we thought about it???? (for about 2 seconds.) Best decision we ever made, we were met the next morning by DAVE, our new best friend, it was a fantastic tour! Do yourself a favour!🇦🇺 Oh and by the way, the Hotel is Brilliant, breakfast is fabulous, the Staff couldn't be more helpful, all in all a wonderful stay, didn't really want to leave 🇦🇺🇬🇧🇦🇺💕💕

Lovely hotel, really clean and fab location. Staff were very friendly. Sadly I had no hot water so didn’t spend as much time as I’d liked in the bathroom. Also there is no plug socket near the mirror so had to rearrange some furniture to enable me do do my hair. Tea tray in wardrobe was well stocked but again due to lack of plugs at that side of the room I had to rearrange yet more furniture so I could boil the kettle safely. I would recommend this hotel and stay here again but I would request a different room which would hopefully be configured differently.

Not the best Hotel for Christmas, with very little christmas atmosphere. Rooms very noisy, although clean. Bar prices varied depending who was serving. Food not to everyone's taste. Staff did their best with limited resources. This visit was a group tour.

Could not rate this place highly enough. Amazing hotel in the greatest location for night life ornsight seeing and shopping. Simply awesome, had a great stay. Room was big and comfortable, staff were incredible. I urge anyone, if you are looking for a hotel in Liverpool, then book here, you won't be disappointed.

While we didn't utilise everything the hotel had to offer we found the place to be most welcoming and very relaxing. Rooms were spacious and the bed very large. We had the sliding doors and balcony which in the summer months would be amazing. Bathrooms large and shower great. Very much central to shopping and a ten minute walk over to the docks. Would absolutely recommend and will use again.

Nice ambience in the hotel, very well decorated, polite staff, always playing Beatles tunes. These are the positives. However, the hotel is just beside the "party area", and the rooms have no insulation against the noise outside, so there is basically no sleeping in this hotel. The windows don't shut completely and allow every sound into the room, I could hear people laughing and talking outside, can even hear people sneeze outside. And of course, while the clubs are open, its as if the room is right inside the club, the sound and the bass in the room is incredible. I could hear the songs from 3 different clubs at the same time. And after the clubs close, then the cleaning crews come in and you can hear them all working outside all night long. If I had known I wouldn't be able to sleep at all, I would have stayed elsewhere.

Rooms are not as good as say Hilton etc but ok, we moved rooms as 315 noisy, 222 nice and quiet. Told restaurant full, so we ate out each night, good Italian around the corner. Did the Beatles package, which was great.

This hotel definitely gets by on its brand. I was in one of those rooms facing Mathew St and to be honest the noise is ridiculous. I don’t mind hearing a bit of nightlife in the city but pounding bass until 4am Sunday morning and 1 or 2am Monday morning is quite difficult to contend with. The hotel needs to at least acknowledge this and maybe provide complimentary earplugs as a minimum? As for the room itself, it was very basic. It’s just an old hotel with some Beatles photos dotted about in places. Not terrible, but not great either. I’m guessing the suites are the big draw here.

Definitely the place to stay if you want to be near the Cavern and shops. Rooms were really adequate, and the beds were very comfy. Usual tea coffee facilities, ironing board, etc. The only moan was lack of sockets near a mirror (hard to do my hair!) Breakfast was extremely good, staff were pleasant and very accommodating. The hotel was beatles themed (obvs!) Immaculate and really quiet. We intend on visiting again and will absolutely stay in this hotel again. Brilliant 👏 👌

The rooms are spacious, the staff is gracious. We chose not to eat breakfast here (10£ if paid the day before) because of the reviews. We asked to be in a quiet area. I would 100% stay here again. Easy walk from the train station. In the middle of the Cavern District. Beautiful decor and well maintained. Easy walk to many restaurants and cafes. A must for the Beatles fan. Climate control seems odd but that may be Great Britain.

  • 3/5 Francine L. 5 months ago on Google
Stayed here for 2 nights on business. Staff all pleasant. Restaurant was average food and expensive. I had a "soda water" which turned out to be sparkling spring water plus a main course. For that I was charged 10% service charge. Our "conference" room was a dark room where we were packed down one side like sardines. Meeting interrupted by Beatles music. Tea was stewed by the time we reached the break. Room was OK but 3 stars for the uncomfortable cheap pillows and interconnecting door through which I could hear my neighbours talking till the early hours and then they started again at 6 am. If you love the Beatles yes it's for you. If you just want a relaxing stay probably not.

Great hotel clean room, and located close to cavern club which was amazing! Service was great at the hotel. Eric was a friendly character at the hotel!! Loved the decor the photos, memorabilia about the Beatles!

Great stay, bloke on reception (didnt catch his name, looks like Colonel Sanders) is a credit to the company. Brilliant entertainment on the Friday evening 7/7/23. Room was great, fantastic size. One small negative is that the room shook when the lift was in use but nothing much you can do about that. Can't wait to return.

  • 2/5 N B. 5 months ago on Google
If you like to sleep or eat in your hotel, this is not for you. No room service, very noisy with cavern club next door and noisy night clubs nearby. Also had a tunnel or subway underneath as room vibrated every once in a while. Only 1 possibly 2 options for vegetarians in the restaurant (green curry or mushroom mush) and nothing cooked to order at breakfast. (Only fried or scrambled eggs) Only 1 coffee/tea machine with very long line if busy. Staff were very nice when they were there. Particularly at reception. I did report the noise but other than sympathy, earplugs and the closing times of the club next door, wasn't offered an alternative. Nice room, nice decor but if you are wondering what it's like, I advise you to go for a drink there, not to sleep. Now if you are there for a clubbing night out, this place is for you. As a lone business traveller, don't.

If you don't mind about a bit of Rock & Roll noise at night, this is the only hotel right on top of the legendary "The Cavern Club" in Liverpool... Food was top, as well as service (Mahmoud at the front desk was hyper kind, as well as the bearded guy who sings Beatles' songs as he takes care of your luggage), and the room. I would definitely recommend it, and for sure when headed to Liverpool, I shan't think twice... after all, what's better that a bit of Beatlemania during a hard day's night? Yeah, yeah, yeah...

Fantastic stay at the Hard Days Night Hotel! Staff were all very pleasant and helpful. Do note that children are not allowed in the bar after 5pm, which if you have an older teen its a shame as they play lots of great Beatles music in the evening and have tribute bands in there too. Location is perfect for exploring all that Liverpool has to offer, and the Cavern Club is just round the corner. Totally recommend and hope to one day come back.

Perfect hotel to stay in if you're either looking for a city centre location near where the nightlife is all happening or you need somewhere handy for transport to Anfield. Service was fantastic, Eric and the crew will look after you. Rooms were great and they had safe, tea facilities, iron and everything else you'd need. Would definitely recommend.

The area where this hotel is located is definitely lively with a lot of bars and pubs. Knowing this we asked for a quiet room but got one where the music from a nearby venue was stopping us from getting any sleep until half past one in the night. Plus there's a low rumble from the subway under the building. After complaining we got a different room which then actually was quiet. It would have been nice if the personnel had acted in our wishes at check-in already.

Stayed for our anniversary on 29th August 2023 and had a lovely experience at this excellent hotel. Staff very attentive and lovely at all times, allowed us to leave our bulky luggage couple of hours before check in so we could explore the city a bit. The ambience of the whole hotel is perfect. Clean, modern and good sized rooms, ours had a balcony with a view. Staff had left us a congratulations card and some chocs in our room which was a very thoughtful touch! Would stay again in a heartbeat, even though we live locally. If you are from out of town, this is a perfect hotel, central for everything city and Beatles related, you wont be disappointed 👏

We’ve stayed here a couple of times and I’d have considered it one of my favourite places to stay however I think it’s really after losing the luxury feel to it. The room was clean and nice but the bed this stay was uncomfortable so soft and low to the ground unlike any other time we have stayed. Front desk staff were very pleasant but the staff at breakfast were all over the place. Tables weren’t being cleaned quick enough and the cups were constantly empty, the glasses beside the juices were so grubby it was hard to find a clean looking one, some of the staff were quite messy looking to be working around food and on our first morning the table was hardly wiped and when the staff set the table with cutlery the spoon I got looked like it had been licked it was filthy. Our last morning breakfast was late opening so there was a mad rush when we got in. Our second day breakfast went the smoothest and everything got refilled purely because what I think was one of the chefs was out filling everything and making sure the place was tidy. So disappointed, i really hope they can sort out whatever issues they’re having and get back to how they used to be as it’s such a shame they’re standards seemed to have really slipped.

Its not a bad hotel at all. The room that we stayed in was a great size with a balcony overlooking a part of the city. The decor is really tasteful in the lobby. The room, whilst big, was actually quite basic, there was no minifridge which for this rating of hotel is odd. The TV was limited and cheap. The walls need repainting. Two desks... one chair? The bed was 2 singles pushed together. The loo cistern was leaking, which could be heard. The bathroom hadn't been cleaned very well. The breakfast was actually quite poor in comparison to other hotels of the same rating, the service was being replenished but on top of the old food. There was only a single coffee machine which was constantly needing to be filled. The restaurant itself had one poor young girl trying to keep it clean, obviously she was overwhelmed, meaning everyone was being sat at dirty tables waiting for them to be cleaned by this lone soldier. The greeter wasn't much help, occasionally taking a couple of plates. Sounds like a disaster when you read this but it really wasn't, its just not what I would've expected for what I paid.

In the heart of the city with great access to food, pubs and clubs. Such a beautiful hotel. The staff are wonderful and helpful, especially all the reception staff. We got married here and have been coming back every year on our anniversary. Rooms are spacious and wonderfully decorated. Especially the Lennon suit (which you do pay more for, but it's worth it for the wow factor) Couldn't rate it higher. Food in the restaurant attached (Blakes) is always wonderful and high in quality. This includes the lovely buffet breakfast.

Beautiful hotel especially if you are a Beatles fan.Loved the photos going up the spiral staircase. There were lots more pictures of the Beatles and their music playing in the background. All the staff were extremely friendly and polite.Always at hand to help if you needed them always with a smile on their face.Room spacious and also spotless.Hotel situated handy for everything.I would highly recommend it.After staying there I wouldnt want to stay anywhere else. The management should be proud of their hard working staff.

Quick, efficient check in. Had to go back to reception as swipe card wouldn't work so had to use a key. Room was clean and comfy (apart from the strip on the shower screen which was very dirty and let the rest down). Breakfast had a good variety of food to choose from. Decent amount of Beatles memorabilia.

A fabulous experience for Beatles fans and great for everyday travellers. Brilliant central location near to all of the key sights. Staff were friendly and attentive throughout. Booked a deluxe room that was clean and spacious. Interior hotel decor is lovely, great photos and artwork of the Beatles in all of the communal areas. Breakfast was good, the usual English breakfast and buffet. The absolute start part of the trip was the Beatles private taxi tour conducted by Joey in his cab. He was brilliant. So knowledgeable about the Fab Four and the places we visited with him really made our trip. I highly recommend the Ultimate Beatles Package which the hotel offers. Plan to come back again with family members.

Enjoyed the experience second time visit for us. Breakfast looks hot in the servers but when you get it back to your table it's cold. Also black pudding was like a ice puk and the bacon was like leather. Plates are cold. Tea was reasonable. Staff were very pleasant.

Room was large but a bit tired in places. Breakfast was excellent something to suit all tastes. Staff very helpful and a credit to the hotel, and the location was a short walk from car park @ Liverpool ONE, and everything else from the shops to Albert Dock, to the theatre where a stones throw away.

Paid for our night there with Tesco Clubcard vouchers. If we'd paid full price I would have been very annoyed. Large, spacious and comfortable rooms. The bar had run out of beer and other drinks as there was a wedding on. Thread bare carpet on communal stairs. One lift out of 2 broken. A cleaning product bottle left in our room on arrival. Nice Beatles artifacts and piped music. No orange juice for breakfast. Coffee tipped in my saucer as I was being served and no apology. Dirty in the breakfast eating area. Could be a very nice hotel.

Love Liverpool so to stay here was a real treat . Hotel is nice and bar staff were very friendly. Unfortunately didn't sleep well due to a few incidents (alarm) going on & off in our room constantly in the night and a few other small issues. Staff offered help and compensation but this was never resolved. Such a shame.

When we got into the room, it was very cold. The heating was set at 26 degrees Celsius, so it was clearly not working. I called reception and the lady told me the manager would come to the room and check. After half an hour, no one had been, so I called again and was told the manager would come right away, he never. So, after another half an hour, I went down to reception and spoke to the reception staff, she said the manager was busy with a wedding, and handed me a fan heater, she then said he would come up to sort as soon as possible. Another hour passed and we were heading out, so I called in at reception again and asked to speak to the manager, he came and informed me that he had sorted the heating via a panel on a different floor to what we were on but failed to tell us this information. I also informed him that the four lamps in the room were not working either, he said he would check whilst we were out. When we returned, the heating was still not working and the lamps were also not working, and to top it off the TV did not function most of the time either. We have stayed at this hotel a few times over the last 8 years, it is not as good as it used to be. I have read a few recent reviews from other people that have stayed, the response from the hotel to peoples reviews mentions informing them whilst staying, in my case this made no difference, they did not resolve the problems with our room. I would recommend the Staybridge Suites Liverpool as a alternative hotel, we stayed here also and it was fantastic!

We went for an overnight stay to suprise my sister and bro in law for their 40th(Ruby)Anniversary. The hotel itself is amazing you dont dont have to be fans to apprieciate it. The rooms are clean comfy and big. The breakfast is worth it too. The staff are so helpful and nothing is too much trouble for them. They helped us make sisters room suprise do-able. Well worth it.. we will definitely return. xx

Thexstay was ok but i left a £100 electric grooming kit in the bathroom. I phoned that day and got a poor response. The house keeper said nothing was handed in. So that meant either it was stolen or they never cleaned thecroom .either way a poor show. I wont be back .

Had a wonderful stay last weekend. Staff greeted us warmly on arrival, looked after our luggage until it was time to check in & we went for a wander. Great location, room was very comfortable and had a great view on the 4th floor balcony, great for looking out over the city at night, a sight that always stirs the emotions for me. Would stay here again.

6 of us have just had a lovely 2 night stay in this unique Fab Four Hotel. Our deluxe rooms were great & we had a huge bed in our room. The staff in hotels can make your stay that bit more special and the staff here exceeded that. Emma on reception made us so welcome on arrival and always so helpful as were all the staff. We will definitely stay here again when we next stay in this wonderful city of Liverpool. Many thanks 😊

My stay was very disappointing. We arrived too early to check in so decided to have a drink in the lobby. There was a group of about 10 middle aged people who also appeared to be waiting to check in. They were loud and eventually started playing their own country music and generally being disrespectful to anyone around them, including two groups of ladies who were there for an afternoon tea. It was difficult to have a conversation due to the noise. The staff did nothing. The night got worse (it was a Friday night). The noise from outside (drunks, sirens, smashing bottles, etc) was so loud we didn't get any rest until about 6am and then the bins started being emptied of bottles from about 7:30am. We couldn't get the TV to work with the remote control so couldn't even try to drown out the noise. My wife has reported it to the hotel but we haven't heard anything. My wife has stayed several times before but always midweek and never had a problem with noise. I would strongly advise against staying at the weekend unless you intend to be out until the early hours.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the hard days night hotel, lovely friendly helpful staff. Cruise tour on the 🎶ferry across the Mersey🎶approx.50 minuets well worth it. Taxi tour with Joe Lyons he was very knowledgeable and witty. I would recommend taking the tour with him.10 out of 10 Joe.

It is a massive hotel with hundreds of rooms and we got really impressed by the interiors. ' Jaw-dropping' feeling to see Beatles inspired unique rooms. We stayed at the hotel about a few years ago when we went on a business trip and the hotel provided us with complimentary transportation to reach our banks and partners. The most unforgettable part of the experience was the breakfast. It was one of the most elaborate breakfast buffets we ever had. The rooms feature a soft and comfortable bed and an eye-catching luxury decor. Track list was excellent we listened to Gato Barbieri every night. It was really a memorable experience. We felt very comfortable and satisfied with all services.

The reception/bar area was great and was lovely to see all the memorabilia and hear the Beatles on all the time. The room was a little rough round the edges. Could do with some TLC. Staff were great also

Fantastic location right on Matthew street, walking distance too most things in centre with taxi rank outside. Hotel staff are amazing and couldn't fault them. We had few issues with the rooms ( moved twice) but overall had a great trip.

Booked afternoon tea for Father's Day and really disappointed. Thought we'd be in the restaurant but had to sit in the lobby area near reception, which felt a bit like a waiting room. The tea was good and hot, sanwiches were nothing special and all the cakes felt like they'd come out of a packet rather than home baked. And considering the size of the Beatles back catalogue, the same 6 or 7 songs played over and over on a loop. Can't comment on the hotel beyond the afternoon tea which I couldn't recommend at all.

Me and my wife had a lovely 2 night stay here. We were on the 4th floor. We had no noise at all either night. We both had a good sleep both nights. The only criticism would be that the pillows are too soft but that's no reason to mark the hotel down. The room was very spacious, clean and modern. The breakfast was very tasty and tasted like it wasn't cheap produce. We were very happy with our stay and was even happier with the discounted rate on Qpark. Staff were also great, very friendly, helpful and inviting. 10/10 would recommend.

Rooms were quite standard but clean and tidy. Breakfast team were short staffed and working under pressure to seat a full hotel. Resulting in delays and cold breakfast items. Location was excellent around the corner from all the bars and restaurants. Reception team and door teams were friendly and well mannered. Can I suggest adding a channel to the TV set up playing beatles songs it would enhance the experience.

Fabulous stay in the John Lennon suite for hubby's birthday. Restaurant could be warmer but the female staff are absolutely lovely. Made our surprise birthday meal so very special. We'll be back - but please put some heating on in the restaurant next time!

Great location, just around the corner from the Cavern club (Beatles) and with a stones throw of the L1 shopping area. We stayed here just over 4 years ago & on this occasion, we had a great time. However, the place seemed to have lost a little bit of its sparkle post pandemic and the buzz. We managed to get a great deal, including breakfast, so 5 star for value for money. Sadly, the main bar/cocktail lounge is only open Friday to Sunday, so it was closed on our visit, we were both surprised how quite the place was and the lack of atmosphere. Our room was lovely, but was starting to show its age due to cracked walls left unrepairable. Breakfast was self-service and to a good standard. Overall, I had a great time, but I hope the place regains its sparkle prior to the upcoming Eurovision contest coming to Liverpool.
