Stayed in 2 rooms here over the course of a weekend. The first room a queen was nice. Only thing I can complain about was the window latch was broken and the view was poor! But it was clean, and comfortable! The second room a triple was better and again clean and comfortable. The location is excellent as your right on the docks literally a minute walk from the restaurants and bars. Ideal for a break away. Plenty of parking nearby if you are Elon Musk or Bill Gates, otherwise you can park further away for a reasonable fee. The hotel staff were really nice. Super friendly and courteous. Despite the hotel having an unfortunate leak over night in the reception they looked after everyone well and kept things as business as usual. I'd definitely recommend this place again and hopefully I'll have chance to stay again soon.

Would really advise anyone staying here to think twice. Stayed here sharing a room with my Dad and my cousin and uncle had a seperate room. When we got back from our night out the rooms were absolutely freezing, I mean it would have been warmer sleeping outside. It was in the middle of October. My cousin had the same in their room and I went to reception to sort the problem, their response to me was "Oh yea, the AC/heating isn't working on that level"... to me that sounds as though they shouldn't be putting guests in those rooms on that level until they rectify the issue. They said they'd send someone up with a space heater, it never arrived I slept in clothes I was planning to wear out. Complained the following morning and they said it would be fixed for that night... fast forward to that night it still wasn't resolved. I complained and asked for a room on another level and they wouldn't oblige us. We got a tiny space heater for the night and that was all they could provide us with. Highly recommend staying spending the money in Novotel or the Premier Inn 👍

How this hotel passes as a four star hotel is beyond understanding. Rooms grubby and outdated. Som staff are unfriendly and unapproachable. Specifically to my stay, my room was extremely cold due to a window that would not seal on closing. When I complained, front desk told me it was unlikely they would be able to accommodate a room move due to the hotel being booked out. In my complaining, I did not suggest a room move, an attempt to seal the window would have sufficed. I was made feel like I caused the issue when their hotel room was unfit for sleeping, let alone providing a 4 star experience. I'd strongly recommend spending your money elsewhere.

Communal areas very clean and modern looking. Room was a little dated although bedroom was spacious. Bathroom not so much, toilet blocked off behind the door and the bath was small (although red hot if you want it to be!). Some signs of wear like marks on the carpet but it was clean. Breakfast was ok, but bizarrely give everyone tiny plates that were only really suitable for small children I would say, clearly trying to stop people having a large full English breakfast!

Was quite amazed with this hotel. Price was fair for the superior room, shower was powerful and the heat of it was good to. Bed was so comfy and the room was spacious. The only downfall of the room was the old fashioned aircon switch. It barely worked we had to push down on the button quite hard for it to work. Drinks at the bar was fairly cheap and the view of the arena outside while drinking was nice. Highly recommend staying here.

This location is convenient to the M&S Bank arena and Albert dock. The rooms lack a few modern amenities, including a fitness area, fridge, and microwave. If you prefer a cloth to bathe with, bring your own. This facility could use some minor updates to the décor & general upkeep (tears in carpet, etc) Good customer service. Great in-house restaurant. Amazing breakfast buffet. Walking distance to many attractions.

The rooms were large and mostly clean. We had one coffee cup that had coffee around the rim and the milk hadn't been replaced. The shower pressure was terrible! It was like a watering can. The air-conditioning worked well but must have been on a timer because it turned off every hour or so. The beds were comfortable. Nice bar downstairs and great location to lots of food places on the docks.

We arrived at the hotel for check in only to realise that we were a day early. The receptionists, Charlie and Bianca, were sympathetic and understanding of the fact that we’d travelled three hours to get there. They moved heaven and earth to swap our booking that should have been non transferable and gave us a fabulous room. Room was clean and comfortable, breakfast was delicious. Free drinks vouchers went down a treat. Altogether a lovely break

Can't recommend this hotel highly enough in a great location very friendly staff and the buffet breakfast set us up for the day..... Hotel is very clean and sits right at the Big wheel.... Would like to give a mention to a member of the staff called Jack who helped us at breakfast, a lovely bloke very friendly and helpful. I noticed him take the time to chat briefly to other guests making tbem feel welcome and he's a real asset to this hotel.

Room was clean and spacious, could do with choice of biscuits to go with the tea and coffee. Room price was a bargain for a Sunday with gigs on at the Waterfront. Service was a little slow on the way in but the lady who served us was apologetic and lovely. Bar had a reasonably good choice of beers.

We went to watch Hits Live at the M&S arena and found this to be the perfect hotel. Rooms are spacious clean and modern. The view out of the window was perfect. We had a couple of drinks in the hotel bar before and after the gig and thought it was great; not too expensive like most hotel bars and lively / efficient. Would return without a doubt.

Very nice budget hotel. Comfy beds. Very nice breakfast, but not a huge selection. But as we like English breakfast the selection for us was spot on. They were out of most sodas, which is weird, but we somehow managed. The staff at reception when we arrived weren’t overly welcoming, but ok. Breakfast staff were lovely. You can’t ask for a better placement, smack in the middle of Liverpools tourist district (Albert Docks)

I have just stayed here as part of a delegation for four nights. Lovely rooms with plenty of towels and pillows. Tea/coffee and milk topped up every day and your bed turned down. Staff very friendly and helpful. Good range of food at breakfast with hot and cold options. This hotel is placed wonderfully for Albert Docks and 10 min walk to Liverpool One shopping centre, a 15 min walk to the Cavern Quarter. Really enjoyed my stay and will be back.

The location is Fabulous, near everything, the bar is nice to have drink at night, the hotel is modern and big enough, there is a parking next to the hotel you can get discount as Leonardo client £12 per day which I think it’s ok. Breakfast should improve and offer more variety.

From checking in. To check out, all the staff were polite. The room was clean and tidy. The bed was lovely and comfortable. No complaints here. The only minor issue was the shower water pressure was a bit low, being a trickle. The breakfast was absolutely lovely. Bar prices were what you would pay in a town centre pub. There is a pizza express outside nearby. The hotel is 5 mins away from the car park. Which we paid about £14 for overnight parking. The car park is open to all. CCTV covers the car park. The hotel is very near food outlets and restaurants. A good base for traveling from. We had a good stay. Will be using it again.

Please enforce the No Smoking policy. Although the staff was responsive to me and others in my group to switch rooms, we found some rooms filled with smoke from either previous guest, which would be strange if house keeping had attended to this room, or staff who had been smoking in the room. One of the rooms had a dirty sock covering the smoke detector! The hotel was lovely otherwise and the breakfast was excellent.

Perfect location close to the shops and bars, no parking but there are car parks close by where you get a discount. Rooms are a good size and very clean. Breakfast was very nice with a good choice, well worth the money we paid will definitely be back.

Comfortable enough but would expect a lot more from this chain The staff themselves were very warm and inviting. The location that the hotel is in, and accompanying views, are some of the best in Liverpool. It was easy to get to the docks or to the centre of Liverpool by foot or by taxi. The hotel has clearly been hit by Covid restrictions and measures, and it was good to see them taking them so seriously. But at the same time it was hard, if not impossible at times, to get replacement towels sent to the room despite calling or asking reception. The same applies to other bits too, including glasses, teas and biscuits. We had something sticky on the floor on our carpet, which we mentioned a few times at reception but was never resolved. At the moment they are only servicing the rooms after 6 nights, but after a 3 night stay it meant the bathroom was a bit icky. The bathroom also needed a bit of a freshen up, particularly the grouting and silicone. A few items in the room were also dusty on arrival including the phone and tissue box. On one evening there was extremely loud banging, shouting and screaming from next door. We mentioned this to reception, who sent a porter, but nothing then happened when the noise continued. It was definitely a comfortable stay, in a good size room with a decent bed.

This hotel is the perfect example of putting “lipstick on a pig”. The U.S. and UK must have very different ideas of a 4 star hotel because this does not even come close to 4 stars. I would never even think to book again or recommend this hotel to anyone. The hotel’s poor accommodations overshadowed the location. First, I doubt they really “clean” the rooms. The tub grout was moldy that could have been easily cleaned with some effort. Spots and stains on the rugs, including lint and hair that shows they couldn’t have vacuumed well either. Splashes of unknown liquids on the doors, walls, side tables etc that could easily be wiped clean, again with some effort. The sheets had stains on them when we arrived. Lastly, there was so much dust and even cobwebs hanging from the ceiling! Dust on top of doors, on the side tables, on the coffee pot, and especially on the window sills. The cleaning wipe I brought was black after wiping the windowsill with it! With all of this I was incredibly disgusted. Second, the bathrooms are literal dungeons in this place. Terrible lighting, outdated, smelled odd, and our bathroom was so small your knees hit the sink sitting on the toilet. A poorly placed shelf above the sink that prevented you from being able to do things like wash your face. They sink has no countertop so all you get is this small shelf. You can tell the bathrooms were from the previous hotel and they never bothered to update them. Third, the “air conditioning” is controlled by reception and just turns off after about 15 minutes. It’s insane to me that a normal amenity like air conditioning at any reputable hotel is hard to come by at this “4 star” hotel. We kept our window open to try to cool down the room however or room faced the noisy construction site across the street. Even the bar downstairs was furnished with dirty and stained seating. I truly would never recommend this hotel to anyone and was so relieved to be able to leave after our business trip.

Good 2 night stay. Bed was comfy but a bit small, pillows too hard for me but was able to get a softer one delivered to the room (after asking twice). Great breakfast choice. Excellent location for Liverpool town. Didn’t hear band/noise from M&S Arena. The biggest drawback for me was no parking onsite, 10 min walk to large car park. The hotel are missing a trick here as they could offer a Valet service to park your car in the car park

Very disappointed in the rooms. Upon arriving in our room and wanting to wash our hands, the sink wouldn't drain properly. So we unpacked. Once that was done, the sink had drained, but left after building up water obviously from a plugged drain, there was curly hairs and a slimy film left in the basin. We went downstairs on our way to dinner, we notified the front desk of the issue and they said they would get it taken care of. 2 hours later upon returning to the room, the drain issue had not been corrected!!! They moved us to another room. This sink worked, but upon stepping into the shower, noticed a bunch of hair in the shower !!! Just not our day obviously!! One would think the rooms would be better cleaned than this !!!

This hotel was by far the best l have stayed in Liverpool! We came with Caledonian Travel and had a fantastic time. Firstly the staff were brilliant, so welcoming and kind and absolutely nothing was a bother to them! The whole hotel was spotless clean and our room was fabulous and spacious and cleaned every day with fresh towels We were half board and all meals were excellent, so much so that we cancelled our arrangement to eat out 2 of the 4 nights we stayed there! A huge thanks to the fantastic staff of Leonardo, Liverpool and l cannot wait to return!

Brilliant location. However for a hotel at this category it’s unacceptable that the room is cold, and the heating haphazardly turns off due to „energy saving“ reasons. I was freezing, and the reception couldn’t help me. The best energy saving measure would be to close the house.

Stayed here for Two nights everything perfect, had a lovely stay. Room very clean and big , lovely views, breakfast very nice too. Would definitely stay here again. The reception staff gave us a lot of help moving my cousin from a awful hotel in Liverpool to this one . Thanks very much for all your help much appreciated,my cousin from California was so happy with the hotel move.

Location is perfect, right on the docks and near enough to the city centre. View is also wonderful to have. The rooms was very tidy, pretty, large and comfy. But the pillows are so large and firm, I struggled to sleep because of the size of them. The rest of the bed was perfectly fine though. Service was brilliant, everyone at the bar, breakfast, and reception were all fantastic. And service was all efficient. I also had to call online prior, to which I was met with wonderfully helpful people.

Good stay, only down side was low season Restaurant closed only bar food on very limited menu available. Poor parking available for electric scooter user. Would have been so hard for a similarly disabled lone traveller.

Lovely, clean and well run by polite staff. Breakfast was well presented with good choices. The one disappointment was the coffee from the machine. We bought Costa coffees from the bar and had those with our breakfast.

A great location situated on the docks in Liverpool and very close to city centre. Based on hotel I have to give it a poor 2 star rating, Staff were friendly and nice, breakfast was fine. However general organisation is very poor upon checking in I was given a room which wasn't ready not even the bed was made. I eventually checked into a new room which was fine, clean enough however stains on carpets and bathrooms need updating. What gives this hotel its 2 star rating the most is the fact there is no air conditioning, well there is but you don't get to work it yourself its all controlled via reception which is not practical I had to go down to reception a number of times to ask for it to be switched on half the time it would go on for 20 minutes for it to then go off. My room was boiling hot due to the fact it was facing the sun. This hotel will be incredibly uncomfortable in the summer months due to this. This hotel claims to be a 4* but doesn't allow guests to have basic facilities like air conditioning which they can control themselves how is that a 4 star hotel? instead you're left uncomfortable in a boiling hot hotel room.

The hotel was in an amazing area. I went to watch Eurovision and the atmosphere couldn't have been better. I absolutely loved the breakfast and my stay was incredible. Will come again. 🩷 (big thanks to the operation manager Megan for the warm welcome and lovely note.)

Nice room, clean, good bedding, refreshments, slept well. Downside was a hideous stain beside the bed and a tea/coffee stain next to the other bed. Reception was excellent in that we got in at noon and not 3pm. Breakfast normal, good selection, all the hot items were cold so will pass on our second night in another room. Would stay again

Stayed over the Easter weekend. Travelled from Edinburgh. Parking is in the nearby multi story which is safe. The hotel was ideal. We had a triple room for 2 nights. Staff were excellent. Great location. Will definitely return in future.

Stayed for a few nights. Room and bathroom very dated. Bed and pillows comfortable. Try to get upper floor rooms as we were woken at about 5.30am by deliveries. Great location for Albert Dock so that was the reason for booking

I stayed at Leonardo Hotel for a conference for 3 nights. Really nice modern decor inside with excellent location in picturesque Liverpool docks, next to ACC conference centre. Equally really close to City Centre, about 20min walk from both Liverpool Central and Lime Street train stations. Rooms were also modern with decent amenities and nice en-suite bathroom. Breakfast had good variety of cold continental and hot items, all fresh and nice quality. Beds were a little hard for my liking, sometimes was a little loud in evening outside my room, and absence of safe inside the room was a little annoying. Otherwise no other issues. And certainly for the money, was a great value 4 star hotel to stay in!

Remember to use HoteITully.ᴄᴏm when booking any room. This site will compare hundreds of booking web sites and typically will have rooms a lot cheaper than others! You're welcome :)! This hotel is one of the most well known in this area. I've been staying here for a long time. If you stay for a few days you won't be disappointed. The hotel is in a great location next to the Albert Dock area and just a short walk from the city centre. Staff here are wonderful, particularly Daniela. My wife left her bag behind and the staff kept it safe for us until we picked it up a few days later.

Lovely clean, spacious room overlooking the big wheel. Stayed overnight for Christmas night out with friends. Great location close to bars, restaurants, and Liverpool 1 just across the road. Breakfast was buffet style. Staff very friendly and helpful. Loads of choice from cereals, fruit, yoghurt, cooked breakfast, and pastries. All cooked food was hot and delicious. Definitely stay there again when visiting Liverpool.

Stayed here for the Liverpool rock and roll 5k, half marathon and the 1 mile We had an awesome time the staff were really friendly and went out of their way with any questions, queries, or extra items needed for the room. Nothing was too much trouble including looking after our bags while we ran after we had checked out. Just breakfast was a little disappointing had alternative milk for coffee and did me some vegan sausages but limited choice for vegans. Otherwise a fab hotel 👍✋

Cheerful staff and lovely room. We have stayed there for the last 3 years however not this year as we wanted to take our son who in his 40s would need his own room and he would have to pay the same as us for a double, we rang the hotel to see if we could get some sort of deal but staff unhelpful and not interested. It is a shame that in this day and age there is no leeway on being a regular customer. There loss.

Bathrooms very basic and dated. Breakfast good. Restaurant menu limited and expensive. Close to waterfront and exhibition centres. Good value when price is cheap, but during an event it can get super expensive. PS: Do not order the half roast chicken and chips - the chicken is very dry and is lacking a gravy or some kind of sauce.

Bar staff are amazing at this place a great deal of my 5 stars is because of them, working none stop but all of them still found the time to have a chat with me made me feel welcome which I appreciated as I travelled alone and for that reason I will be staying there again! Hotel itself is good for the money especially the location very clean too.

Staff are very pleasant, the cafe / restaurant and entrance are very nice. My only complaint would be the bathrooms are very tired and don’t feel very clean. I think my bathroom for example was cleaned as best as I could have been but they’re just so worn out they look, feel and smell old and dirty which is a bit unsettling.

Really nice hotel with some great views across Liverpool from the sixth floor. Breakfast was good with lots of choice as you would expect. Lots of places to eat around Albert Dock (Madre Mexican restaurant was excellent) but if there is something on at the M&S Arena (old Echo Arena) you are best booking well in advance. You simply couldn’t be closer to the Arena for those post gig drinks 🍺. PS : Strike those post gigs drinks 🤬. Back to the hotel at 2236 to find that as the night bar person hadn’t turned up the bar was shut completely. We had chosen the hotel for it close proximity to the arena to catch up with some friends we had not seen in person for 20 years over a few drinks. Had to do it over bacon and eggs …. Just not the same.

4 stars means great apparently, as the location is great, quiet during the night and well placed for Albert Dock and all it's bars and restaurants, as well as the Waterfront. City and all the attractions are within walking distance if able to. The room was just right for us with a view of the river, wheel and Liver Buildings. What wasn't great was the shower curtain, grouting and fittings. Old does not mean they have to be grubby. The shower curtain should be binned. Come on Jurys Inn, they cost a few pounds and make all the difference.

Wasn’t really in the hotel much due to its location, not a bad thing, just out and about all day! Rooms were nice and clean, can’t fault them for this at all! My only gripe was the parking issue. Checked out this morning at around 5am and was greeted by a lovely receptionist called Dan. He asked if I had been made aware of the reduced rate for parking in the car park opposite. Advised I hadn’t, which is really poor customer service and had already paid the car park £22! They have a special rate for customers from the hotel so be aware of this. The reception when I checked in weren’t very interested to be honest and failed to mention this. So my stay was good due to the location but can’t say that about the reception staff. Nice enough but should be more like Dan who I checked out with this morning!!!! Couldn’t fault him!

Rubbish. Stayed for the Genesis concert. Bar closes at 10.30pm so couldn't get a drink after the concert. Restaurant was closed so couldn't get a meal at the hotel before the concert. No coffee or tea facilities in our "executive" room. Had to ring down to reception as we had no hot water. Car parking was expensive as the discounted car park for the hotel was closed. Wouldn't stay again.

Great location for the docks and Liverpool Eye. Only a 12 minute walk from the centre. Nice hotel, clean and overall well kept. Breakfast selection good, would have preferred a pot of tea. Our room was a bit too warm and we were unable to lower the temperature on the device or open the window as near the air con. Wonderful comfortable bed and good level of room facilities. No designated parking attached but plenty nearby. Would stay here again.

Very pretty hotel, I was staying here as I had a booking nearby. My hotel room was very neat, had a bathtub and I snoozed off very quickly in bed. Staff is friendly too, if you would return very late at night they would check if you actually had a room before letting you enter, which is a good safety point in my opinion. Hotel is next to the ferriswheel, some cute food stands and you can enter the pier where you can find a nice bakery to enjoy walnit bread sandwiches. In the afternoon I was greeted by a seagull ticking on my window for food, never had that before but i did find it a finny situation.

Stayed here on Friday evening, we were swiftly checked in by the wonderful Jacob. Our suite on the top floor was lovely, spacious and spotlessly clean with amazing views of the city. The bed was really comfortable and the room so quiet. In the morning we were welcomed to breakfast by the lovely smiling Megan. There was plenty of choice for breakfast and the cooked breakfast was hot, well laid out and tables were cleared promptly as people left. All the staff we met were friendly, helpful and professional, a credit to the hotel. Although we didnt go in the bar it looked a nice relaxing setting to chill out. The hotel is ideally placed on the waterfront and quite central for most things in the city. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and can't wait to return .

Great people in this hotel give the 3 stars, good breakfast and welcoming team. The hotel itself is tired and needs refreshing, particularly things like the fixtures in the room and the carpeting in the corridors. I had some mould on the ceiling of my room - completely unacceptable in a 4 star hotel. The location is good and cleanliness was otherwise fine but felt underwhelmed with my stay

We needed a lot of help re family arriving late and an extra bed needed in the room . Charlie was very helpful & made it work , incredibly helpful. But someone knocked on our door twice around midnight & there seemed to be a lot of arguments in the hotel , my husband called security & it was sorted out quickly. Rooms need to have a bit more attention paid to them when cleaning.

Room very clean, bed and duvet also good. We stayed for three nights and noticed on a typed sheet given to us, that no service was provided. Take heed, if u want your toilet cleaned then u have to either ring reception or queue up, to request it. It was the second night before it clicked. Luckily I had taken flush wipes, but feel for the money per night basic hygiene should have been done without a request. Hotel was quiet and all public areas clean. Go to rough Hand Made do bakery short one minute walk next to miller steak House and enjoy a hot choc out of this world. So all in all stay good, a few homeless people making beds on Bridge adjacent to hotel and on the docks and some begging. Please all hotels, up your game collectively and help.

Well can't give a 5 stars, sorry. Although there is not too bad to point out. The breakfast is not that special. About the room, it was quite nice a 5 stars mattress, but not much space between the bed and the desk. The staff were very nice. I think there is something about Liverpool, everyone providing a service or not have been very nice to us.☺

Don't forget to use ʜᴏᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏm when booking any place. This web site will compare countless booking web sites and typically will have prices a lot cheaper compared to others! Thank me later on! This hotel is one of the highest rated in the area. I've been staying here for a very long time. If you choose this place you won't be disappointed. Wonderful experience, perfect location, friendly staff, clean and modern hotel. Lift service, lovely breakfast and bar facilities. Have a lovely snacks stall for guests great if you arrive late at night. Just felt they thought of everything, will definitely stay again.

Fantastic location, super helpful staff, really clean rooms, great temperature and big comfy bed. What's not to love. You need to pay to park, but there is a huge multi storey less than a 5min walk.

It is a good looking hotel from the outside and lobby, but the rooms are not well cleaned. Was hair leftover and the carpet and chair stained. Odd smells around too like urine in the bathroom. The staff are polite though.

On check in we was greeted by a lovely young man with red hair, fantastic service given by him. Room absolutely lovely, bed very comfortable. Breakfast well worth the money. Only down point was the bar! No ice, No drinks we wanted etc. And public toilets needed cleaning. We will definitely be coming back to jury’s inn on our next visit. Thank you

We were going to watch Strictly at the M&S Arena and thought we would stay overnight to save rushing for the train. We knew the hotel was directly opposite the Arena and had called in for a drink on a previous show, the location obviously is perfect, the welcome by the young man on reception was lovely, I’d checked in on line so keys were ready, had a meal and drink in the bar had to wait a bit for food but arrived soon after I chased it up, the room was very comfortable and clean and a good size as was the bathroom. The hallways were spotless. We had a lovely quiet night stay didn’t hear a sound! The breakfast very nice indeed and we found all the staff were friendly and polite. First stay in hotel and we will most definitely stay again.

Should not be a 4 star hotel!! On arrival the lobby is nice. Check in is 4pm which is quite late. They allow you to leave your luggage was is to be expected. Our room seemed nice however we went into the bathroom and not only is it outdated. There was black mold all over the ceiling!! There is only an overhead shower which is a real inconvenience for women who don't want to wash their hair daily. I stayed in another 4 star hotel in London and it was absolutely stunning and they only had an overhead shower and they had the courtesy to provide daily disposable shower caps with nail file. The comparison between that 4 star hotel and Jury inn liverpool is wild. Seriously would need reviewed. The bath is very low to the ground and quite shallow. There is no grip on the bath and no bath mat provided. I believe you can ask for one but this should be common sense. My partner slipped. The shower gel etc should be refilled to the top for each new guest - 2/3 empty containers is really off putting as guests dont want to feel like someone has used them previously. Our room carpet was incredible dirty in places. They need to get this professional cleaned at least once a month to get the stains out. One part of the carpet was soaking wet on arrival and it's really disturbing standing on a wet patch with socks on and not knowing what you've stood on. Our room wasn't cleaned our entire 3 night stay. I was told at reception that as I was staying more than one night that it would be cleaned yet the information sheet we received said it only gets cleaned on departure!! Firstly why? I shouldn't have to go ask for clean towels/toilet paper and secondly why have a please clean room door handle hook if they only clean after departure for each room. Makes no sense. You also have to leave rubbish outside your room to be collected because rooms aren't clean so rubbish is building up. Overall I wouldn't stay in this hotel again. You can spend a little more money and get a far nicer hotel where little things really make a difference. Never stayed in a hotel where rooms arent cleaned before or rooms having mold! Crazy!
