Abysmal service. Partner is sick and literally cannot travel, this place would not change our booking to another date without making us pay for our stay in full. Will be disputing charge with the bank and will not be staying here again in future. Absolutely zero empathy.

Brilliant place to stay, had lots of utensils and stuff for cooking, a lovely warm welcome and Rachel is an absolute legend, everywhere I went she was, from a chef to the receptionist she had a bubbly personality. The shower and bathrooms were lit lovely and the entire room was spacious!

Pleasantly surprised! The bed was very comfy, the little kitchenette had everything you could have needed. The telly was a decent size with free wi-fi and the bathroom was generously sized. All of which was spotless! The staff were so lovely and it is situated literally over the road from Central Station. The exit to Central that leads you to the road is looking at the front door of the hotel itself. The rooms are also really well soundproofed as we could barely hear the loud music from off of the main street (not that I'm complaining about that, just shows how good they have been able to do the soundproofing) They even let us put our bags in a locked room after we'd checked out to go out around Liverpool and come back to. Would definitely recommend :-)

The hotel is hard to find. Reception is on the 1st floor and very speedy and friendly service. Room was good but the massive lumps of wood attached to the bed each side makes for a slightly awkward exit from the bed. There was a huge pillar between the bedroom and the mini kitchen. Microwave, hob and kettle were all spotless and, a nice touch was the free sachets of coffee and milk. Good sized TV although I didn't watch it! I was unable to connect to WiFi but had 4g signal on my phone. The only major downside was that people use the street as a toilet resulting in a steam of urine flowing down outside the entrance which is far from welcoming

This was the only hotel in the UK we had booked that refused to refund us or extend our voucher after COVID prevented us from being able to travel. We lost hundreds of pounds that we couldn't afford to lose. I see no reason why we couldn't just stay for the amount of time we had paid for now that we finally should be able to travel. They already had our money, they just had to let us come and actually use the service we paid for. Would've expected a bit more leniency when the world is experiencing a travel restricting pandemic together.

Great location. Handy for all places in the city centre. Room was lovely. Only issue is that you get 2 pillows and they do not have soared when asked

Quite comfortable apartment rooms. Very central, but quiet rooms. (Had some lobby/entrance refurbishment while we were there, but would go there again. Did not directly pay for the accommodations, as it was part of a Liverpool football package, where original hotel was replaced by this one by the travel arranger. Quite ok)

Everything was good here. From the people to the rooms! All 5 star for me. Location so close to pubs and shopping areas. Best part is they are pet friendly.

Always lovely to stay at the adagio in Liverpool city centre. Great staff too! Only thing to remark is that the room was a bit dusty under the beds and on the bed rests on the walls, and the beds themselves could have been softer, they were really hard to sleep on.

An excellent hotel in an excellent location. Close to the railway and many attractions, bars and restaurants. We were lucky and were upgraded to an apartment which was fantastic. The hotel also has a washing room, the machines have their own powder built in and they are very reasonably priced per wash. Excellent staff especially Piotr who looked after us at check-in.

A very enjoyable stay at this aparthotel. The staff were extremely friendly and very helpful. The location was in the very centre of the city. Will definitely stay here again when coming back to Liverpool.

We went for a short break to Liverpool. Our stay at the Adagio was fantastic. Our room was lovely. Food was lovely But one staff member stood out from the rest. His name was Rob. He was so helpful but most of all a genuine good guy so full of wit and so funny. We have stayed on previous occasions and definitely will be returning. Sharon from Ireland

Very central hotel / apartments close to St Johns tower. Breakfast is has many elements, simple cooked sausage bacon and beans, fruit juice, cereal, tea and coffee. Rooms very comfortable.

Great hotel and even greater staff. Have stayed here for the past 12 months working away from home and the staff (especially Poitr) are always very welcoming and the 'friendly faces' nights are always great to break the monotony of hotel living up. Rooms are always clean and the kitchens have all the right utensils but can be a bit tight sometimes.

We stayed for two nights and the apartment was great. The small studio was a good size and the kitchen was very handy. Nicky and Lucia at reception were lovely and helpful

It didn't help there are building works going on which made it very difficult to find the entrance and then to find reception. The room we booked with 2 double beds does not exist apparently so we had 2 very small single beds instead. Although clean it didn't feel clean. Bit stale smell of other guests past cooking. Dishwasher did not work. No cleaning unless paid extra. Very basic. No atmosphere. Dining room cold and noone used it except us for breakfast which was regimentally guarded by the kitchen person who observed exactly what we ate! Choice was good although same cooked food reheated and served each day for 5 days. Coffee was awful. Think it was being used as a hotel for those awaiting housing which isnt a problem just unexpected and not what we paid a lot of money for. Won't be going back. Don't recommend.

Second time here, all the staff were very friendly and helpful, esp. Lucia and the guy from Poland with great banter and stories. Rooms offer great value and location is perfect. Insulation from street party noises is also more than adequate. Highly recommended!

What a team. Hotel is fantastic, the apartments themselves top any hotel rooms our family have stayed, and better price than all. Place instantly makes you feel relaxed. Nicky & Piotr, can't give more compliments than this review allows. Honestly haven't met two people who could do more for you. Company should be insanely proud to have them on the team. Manageress is fantastic, apologies for forgetting her name. Thanks team. 10/10, everyone book.

The location of this fantastic hotel is perfect, clean and very stylish. But the thing that would have me returning every week if I could is the team there. ROB is truly a credit to this place. Nothing is too much, smile on arrival and the most charismatic person I’ve met. Made our stay 1000x better. Thank you x

An excellent aparthotel right in the centre of Liverpool. Piotr in reception is so friendly and helpful - I wasn't sure where to go for some shopping and he gave me directions that really helped me out. It's great to be made to feel so welcome!

We had a fabulous time while we were in Liverpool made even greater by our 5 star accommodations. Special thanks to Nicky and Piotr for everything they did to help us get around Liverpool. We especially enjoyed our breakfast every morning provided by Lucia who always had a smile on her face!

Fantastic location, very close to university and town. My room got upgraded to a double because they had the availability. The bathroom was great: large sink and large shower, although the water pressure was low. Plenty of towels supplied. Three small wardrobes and some shelves so plenty of storage space. A desk and a pull out table, plenty of storage sockets. The ceiling light was a bit dim so the desk wasn't appropriate for working at, but this was alright. The only downside is that I could not work out how to turn off the lights on the wall by the bed which would have been in my eyes to sleep. I didn't want to cover them up because the lights were warm and I didn't want to cause a fire risk, and so I took the card out the slot but this cut the electricity so I couldn't charge my phone whilst I slept but I worked around this. The kitchen was equipped with a dustpan and brush, cloth, bins, washing up liquid, sponge, fridge, freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster, 2 hob rings, dishwasher, dishwasher tablets, pans, plates, bowls, large bowl dish plate, chopping board, cooling rack, can opener, bottle opener, scissors, and much more. The bed was very comfortable and the curtains were good as well. The hotel was near some very loud live music bars but with the windows closed and on floor 3, it was quiet enough for me to get a good night's sleep. The lifts were functioning well but required the room card to be activated to go up and required to card to and the card to enter the hotel itself (although you could ring to enter). It was good because it meant only customers went in. There were also toilets and a luggage room they let me use before and after I checked in which was very handy. The staff were polite and friendly. I look forward to staying there again!

This is the second time we have booked this accommodation. It is so well located, clean, with excellent facilities. The staff are fantastic as well, so friendly and helpful. We particularly wanted to thank Lucy who went out of her way to make sure we were looked after.

It was first time for us to book a studio, and we liked it. It was a great experience and we enjoyed all facilities. The kitchen comes well equipped, bed is comfortable considering it is foldable bed. The room is spacious and provide all amenities. Staff is super friendly, welcoming and happy to accommodate every single request. Big thank you to Piotr but as well other reception lady with red hair and housekeeping staff too. What I would only suggest to improve a bit the gym which is very poorly equipped and organised but what is most important we have enjoyed. Thank you!

I have stayed twice in Adagio over the last couple of months - it is very handy for both student accommodation (where my son is staying) and the city centre. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful - they go above and beyond. Nicky and Lucia were so good as indeed were the others whose names I don't recall. Whilst the location is very good, I do think it is overpriced for the nature of the accommodation provided.

Lovely, clean, and spacious apartment-style rooms. The many storage areas would make this place optimal for a longer stay. My special thanks to Lucia at reception, an absolute gem who did everything she could to make my stay comfortable!

4.5/5 with its incredibly central location, reasonably priced and exceptionally clean rooms this was the ideal spot for a 2night stay in Liverpool. All the staff were really warm and welcoming during our stay which but Piotr in particular went above and beyond to help sort out an issue we had with our booking which we really appreciated!

Dog friendly rooms available for a little extra surcharge. Rooms were really good and perfect for us staying as a couple with a small dog. Kitchenette was a perfect size to make small snacks and meals and there's tonnes of little supermarkets nearby. Lots of amenities available and a breakfast however we didn't partake as we had a kitchenette. Only 4 stars as they could probably do with some added security around the entrance on Fairclough Street... It got a little bit "shady" after the sun went down (quite a few people hanging round the entrance waiting for guests to let them in while asking for cash or cigarettes). Staff were really brilliant and check-in/check-out was beyond easy

Lovely apartments clean and modern finish. Great staff and facilities. The area can be a bit noisy due to pubs and clubs nearby but otherwise a great stay!

Brilliantly located! Cheeky welcome as first, as I was asked for Β£20 early check in then this changed too Β£10 eventhough I had said got an appoint @ 2 o'clock (entered premises at 1 o'clock) just needed to drop bags off. Very good storage witch leave bags before check in.Infant had made a mess so we cleaned using a one of the towels they had given. Asked for another towel at a cost of Β£1.50 per towel. Suspect lift at entrance which requires attention as we had a pram. Kitchen well stocked with utensils all in all would stay at this hotel again as Liverpool is a brilliant city and a wonderful experience.

Really well located but rooms (at least the one we stayed in) are not big. In fact, bed is a wardrobe and once you close it you can enjoy the sofa. It has a big common place with tables

  • 4/5 Ken M. 2 years ago on Google
Entrance is in a lane around the back, not at the front as indicated by Google maps. There was a dodgy looking man waiting by the entrance one time we returned. We walked around the block until he had left. Would be better if entrance was on a more major road. Easy Β£5 per day parking at Mount Pleasant car park. Hotel staff were excellent. Room was nice and quiet despite the city centre location.

Stayed Saturday to Monday (Oct 23rd to 25th). 2 adults and x1 toddler. Due to covid postponing reason for travel (marathon) by 18 months; staff we're really helpful at allowing me to rebook. Rooms were well equipped and had everything we needed for our stay. Just enough space to add in a travel cot as well as the double bed. Everything was spotlessly clean, including communal areas. Reception staff were helpful with questions and requests also Location was great for what we needed, and we noticed little to no noise from city centre nightlife (irish bars) or train station opposite. Par for the course with a city centre hotel anyway. Only negatives; access to building is down a lane making it difficult to unload car (double yellows and building site). Also there's a few selective fragrances (bodily and herbal) at times outside the building. We would certainly come back, or stay in this chain again.

The quality of the stay with the price is very reasonable. I found it elegant, practical, comfortable y most of it accesible to everything. I’m very surprised with this little hotel

  • 4/5 S S. 2 years ago on Google
Pros: Location to central station, waterfront, restaurants. Good sized, clean and modern rooms. Cons: Staff on desk look uninterested and not switched on. Can attract chavvy type clientele. Many noisey/busy pubs nearby. Tips: When using Google maps aim for 1 Fairclough Street instead of hotel icon. Beware of double yellow lines and unloading luggage. Ask for a trolley from reception to help transfer luggage from car to room. Mount Pleasant car park. Not the cleanest. But secure overnight. Β£5 per day. But not 24hr access. Closes 8pm and opens 7am.

Pleasantly surprised. First time in an Aparthotel and this one was extremely good. The location was also great. Only complaint was the noise late evening into early hours from a nearby bar

  • 5/5 Faith A. 9 months ago on Google
Absolutely nice place, very central. Easy to reach, surrounded by vibrant night life... Pubs, dance clubs. Many restaurants just out the door and a short walk to many shops.

Storm is a uncontrollable situation and literally the train is suspended, but the hotel only holds their 3 days cancellation policy and no refund. Will never consider to get a room there again. Updated: there was no train on whether Friday or Saturday, it’s not up to my decision to travel or not, for people who are misled by the respond from the hotel.

  • 5/5 Sanjit K. 1 year ago on Google
Great stay! For the price you get so many super useful and functional amenities, the bathroom is modern and spacious and the staff are so helpful. Not to mention the fact that anything you could possibly need (restaurants, train station, bars, clubs) is within a 5 min distance. Would highly recommend. There is a horrible smell on the outside of the building, but if you can get over that - you'll have a fantastic stay.

Can't fault anything about this hotel. Best location, stayed in room 202 which is at the rear of the property so no street noise at all. A studio room with a pull down king-size bed, kitchenette fully fitted with large fridge/freezer, dishwasher, hob, microwave, sink, plenty of crockery/cutlery and cooking equipment. Large shower cubicle in the bathroom, loads of storage space, tables and chairs stored away but could be pulled out to make a dining area if the bed was stowed away. I got a brilliant deal for 1 night booked through Traveleuro. Parking Bee carpark very close by was Β£10 for 24hrs. Bargain!

  • 5/5 Debra W. 1 year ago on Google
Lovely clean, well equipped room. Straight across from Liverpool central train station and right in the middle of bars, shops and restaurants . Would 100% recommend

  • 5/5 Elly H. 1 year ago on Google
For us it was a very good location in the centre of Liverpool. Very friendly staff. Nice and big enough room with little kitchen. Although the reception was not on the ground floor, when you cannot climb stairs, there is a special elevator to the reception.

  • 5/5 Amwaj A. 1 year ago on Google
As a family of four we had an amazing experience. The staff gave my kids welcome bags with a handbook showing kids activities in Liverpool. The location is great and the apartments are clean and big. Highly recommend!

Very obliging staff. Room well prepared and very comfortable. Wonderful stay and would certainly recommend to others, especially regarding location for transport and city sites.

Cheap and cheerful but clean and comfy! Very good placement right in city centre with everything around you. Always go check deals out cause you can get this place cheap. I.e Saturday for Β£70. Small kitchenette in the room and nice big shower and tv.. winner.

Apartment was a little small and info about housekeeping bin emptying etc wasn’t shared at check in so it wasn’t clear until a colleague made me aware. But loved the idea, facilities and the location. Would definitely use them again.
