Staff was lovely nothing was to much trouble. Room was spotless, bed so comfortable. There was only sparkling water in mini bar in room. I think it would be better to put one of each. Breakfast was lovely but waited 40 minutes think this needs looking at. Overall I totally enjoyed my stay and would stay again

Long awaited stay in the city I was born and brought up in. After three and half years not seeing my family as Covid prevented it and my husband had passed away during that time period. I had to get to Liverpool from Spain, where I live. Arrangements made to meet my family and only 3 night stay in this hotel so out and about a lot! The Hotel would have Five stars only for the fact that there were building works going on and scaffolding all over the building. It was a little noisy at times. The room had no views at all. The opening of the window allowed the noise of the air con units (I think that is what they were) outside in what was some kind of area between the hotel and the building next door, which was also being worked on. I accepted not much could be done about these things. Too tired to voice my dissatisfaction I left it. Then on the second day after being out all day realised no one had cleaned the room. No teas or coffees milk or sugar left on the tray. That evening told the receptionist and she said I should have rang the reception to let them know, so I got the impression it was my fault then? On checking out told there was an additional £17.50 to pay for a breakfast which I had not had! So, all in all, on this occasion it wasn't really the hotel I thought it was. The staff were pleasant and the cleaning staff did knock to ask if we wanted our room cleaned the day after not cleaning! Sorry but right now I would not recommend this Hotel.

Lovely breakfast! Staff always happy to help no matter how late in the evening. Clean rooms, complimentary mini bar. Key card didn’t work a few times but we were only on the first floor so it wasn’t much hassle.

Very close to the docks, within walking distance to most things. Lovely hotel, nice plentiful breakfast buffet. Order hot breakfast from menu. We were on 6th floor, there are 2lifts so, generally not long waits for the lift. Comfortable clean rooms. All staff friendly and helpful.

A really great hotel, in a nice part of the city with outstanding customer service. When we arrived at the hotel we were checked in quickly and painlessly, they had already put into place a request we had made when booking, and were more than happy to accommodate. Every time we went down to reception with any type of query, they remember who we were from before, and our room number. The food was nice, especially given the cost. The room was lovely, with a huge bed, a great bathroom with a shower that gets nice and hot with good pressure. Overall a great experience staying at hotel indigo.

Great option for a short stay in Liverpool. Staff were very friendly and the rooms were fairly quiet. We appreciated that the aircon worked well in the room and the shower was hot. Beds were a little too soft for us but overall we were comfortable.

The room was very warm and the air-conditioning was not up to much. No problem. a guy called Colin off the reception found us a big floor fan and gave us to bottles of cold Budwisier on the house. Great service in there too.

Hi All, It was my pleasure to stay at one of the IHG one rewards hotel brand. The location of the hotel is very good. First impression after the long journey was at reception desk. The staff (Haydn) provided with an excellent service. The room was spacious, clean and very comfortable with all necessary tools including iron table, big screen TV, etc. Everything was designed very smartly. The breakfast was so good and I enjoyed the vegetarian option 😊 I highly recommend to stay here.

Visited the hotel for afternoon tea with a friend on 26th February 2023. Food was excellent. The customer service we received from your staff member , Steven was incredible. He deserves the highest praise possible and is an asset to your business. Will definitely visit again.

Perfect location for our 2 night stay, very close to the docks (towards the Liver Building). Some good places to eat and drink just a few minutes walk. Got the impression that the hotel staff genuinely enjoyed working there as they were all helpful, friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Room was modern, clean and had a really good shower. Basic complementary drinks and snacks in the room was a nice touch and they were refilled each day. Breakfast was included in our package, waiter service for the hot food, we went full English which was good quality food and very nicely cooked. I could have handled a slightly more generous portion but it was enough for my wife. We felt like we had great value for money @ £207 for 2 nights inc. breakfast in a good location. Would recommend, will use this hotel again.

Great location and excellent service. We arrived early (12pm) and were able to check in straight away. Rooms are comfortable but looking tired - in need of a deep clean and some touch-ups. Breakfast was fine but not worth paying extra for if it’s not included as part of your stay. Free drinks and snacks in the room are a nice touch. All in all a good stay and would return.

Average Hotel accommodation, lived in and not very welcoming on approach. Feels very dark inside as do the rooms. Breakfast was fine and ideal for location to work. Would I take my wife for a weekend away, to this Hotel, No. Average experience, although free cans of soft drink and water were appreciated.

Wonderful hotel, super lovely rooms, very beautifully and tastefully designed reception, bar, restaurant and rooms. I had a lovely stay, beds were comfy, and couldn't fault anything about my stay.

Not a single fault for this hotel. Best stay in a long time. Spacious rooms, Good AC, Comfy beds, mini bar, all the amenities you need in your room and a great bathroom which is a massive bonus.

We have stayed at many indigos. All have been amazing from the rooms to service to locations. However for this particular review, I don't feel like sharing any of the positives as we were so upset with the disgusting service we received. We had some issues at the hotel, the female member of staff was really friendly and helpful on reception and tried to resolve the problems. However we continued to have some issues, maybe due to poor communication between staff. We then come across Colin who answered the phone dealing with our complaint we made a day before leaving. He was so rude, his attitude was disgusting. He really upset my wife. We found him to be disrespectful in his manner and insulting to our needs, beliefs and religion. Will never ever be staying at this hotel again. Honestly my advice is avoid and stick to a hotel that trains all their staff to communicate with customers like humans. We couldn't wait to leave. We usually stay at Pullman in Liverpool. They are great and I would recommend them.

The hotel has a great location just on the edge of the city, not too far from the Liver Building. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was ok for the price, the walk-in shower was nice. The only let down was the breakfast. Arrived downstairs just after 8am but had to wait for a table to be cleared. It was a serviced meal. I had the full English (which was tasty), but was told it would be 15 minutes before it would arrive. It was a little small for my liking. Breakfast would have been quicker if it was self service, but the quality would have suffered. However taking nearly an hour in total made the rest of the morning fairly rushed.

What can I say? This hotel is in an ideal location , staff very helpful, and can not do enough to help, will be staying here again, love the themed rooms, the hotel has a deal with the ncp car park round the corner you get an £8 discount for 24hrs spent there all you need to do is give the hotel your reg number on leaving.

This is my first night of 3 nights. I checked in late & received a lovely welcome with all the benefits of a platinum member. When talking to Hyden (reception) I told him of a funeral i attended today & he was amazing. He was attentive, showed compassion & definitely went above & beyond. I'm leaving this review premature as I don't check out for another 3 days, but I genuinely feel I have received the best customer service. The rooms are cosy & what I would expect of the IHG group. Beds comfortable & the shower powerful. I'm looking forward to climbing in to this comfortable bed for the next 3 nights. Thank you Hotel indigo... you exceeded my expectations.

This was a works booking. Hotel was in good location the room I had (527) was spacious and comfortable and perfectly adequate for one night. Staff helpful and pleasant. Breakfast was generous and well cooked.

Nice rooms, good location & value for money. Staff also very helpful & friendly! Only comment I would make is that a bedside locker with storage would be better than a bedside table.

Very nice hotel and good location. Breakfast food was all delicious and fresh. Staff were friendly and helpful. Sometimes the service was quite slow though. Housekeeping was also not always consistent and sometimes my room was not cleaned. Bathroom taps were confusing but once explained by staff they were fine! Overall a great stay and I would come again.

Great service and ideal location just behind the Liver building. All landmarks and tourist attractions are easily accessible from here, and though not near the football stadiums, it was only £10 in a taxi. Highly recommend this hotel

Gave mine + my roommates name. Receptionist said I wasn't booked in. My friends were in a bar with no reception. So it took a while for them to get back to me with a picture of their room key envelope - It had the room number and name. In that time I was worried I didn't have a room, so was looking up for a new hotel to stay at. Once I had the picture, showed the reception guy. He said no, that name was wrong. I asked him to please call someone and confirm. My friend had clearly checked in at this hotel, the evidence was in my hand. Eventually he said oh yes you are booked in!? That's actually crazy. I had give the correct names, nothing had changed!! I asked two other members of staff there if I was going crazy. Everyone seemed polite, but it was so weird, as if they didn't want me to check in at all. I don't really have an explanation for it. The hotel is nice. But it wouldn't have mattered if I'd been refused check in. The most polite passive aggressive service I've ever experienced lol.

Absolutely loved this hotel. The room was beautifully decorated in very stylish and chic colours. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was superb and the staff at reception were very friendly and welcoming. The location was just a short walk to the Albert docks and Liverpool One shopping centre. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Great rooms and where lots of things I wanted to be: Docks, Liver Building, The Strand. Also a good selection of breakfast but can be a bit of a long wait. A good selection of channels on the TV in the room and very comfortable beds and good space. Staff are also really friendly. Overall 8:5/10 or 4/5. 👍🏻

Hotel room lovely really clean. Reception staff lovely! Bar was nice however staff member who appeared to be a manager spoke to a colleague disgustingly in front of us which was a shame. Bar closed early due to lack of staff. On the other hand the breakfast was AMAZING and all the morning staff were lovely. Special thank you to Julie for going the extra mile for making us feel welcome 🥰

Had an enjoyable stay here recently. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The room was modern and of a decent size. I couldn't hear a peep from anyone once I'd got into the room. The bar was well stocked and again, fantastic staff who were more than happy to make recommendations. I would certainly visit again and recommend to anyone wishing to stay in the city centre.

Booked for afternoon tea for a friend and myself. We were treated like VIPS as soon as we arrived by two lovely staff. Megan and Julie were amazing and caring, also professional and attentive. Would highly recommend and will definitely return. These young ladies are a credit to the hotel. Thank you for a lovely and enjoyable afternoon. X

The hotel itself is ok but not amazing. Good location and easy parking at NCP Capital. A good base for exploring the city. Rooms small but well appointed. Don't expect a view (not that it really mattered for a city break). Restaurant was the sticking point. Breakfast on the Sunday was chaos as hotel clearly very busy but staff seemed really stressed out. Service for evening meal excruciatingly slow. I may be going out on a limb but I don't think I should have to ask the waiters to come and take our order, especially when the restaurant was quiet. To be clear, food itself pretty good, just the service let it down. Not sure I'd go back, think a Travel Lodge or Premier Inn would deliver an equal experience (in terms of quality), for less money.

Nice and clean and the staff were great. Ate in the restuarant which was great. Only reason for losing a star was breakfast not automatically included and £13.50 for continental plus a further £4 for a cooked option seemed a bit steep.

Fabulous hotel. Stayed 3 nights in a twin room on the 6th floor. Rooms compact, beds comfy, shower superb. Staff couldn't have been more friendly and the breakfasts were great. Had dinner 2 nights in the hotel. 25% off with the red bus ticket. Some reviews said the service was slow. We didn't find this. We felt staff gave you a little time to enjoy the wine and didn't just bring you your food one course after the other without a break. The four of us had a wide range of dishes. The chicken and leek pie , roast chicken a la forestiere and burgers were all fabulous. Puddings tasty too although we had to share as wee were so full. Worth a visit for sure in a great friendly city.

Stayed in here for a couple of nights for a hen party. We had a twin room which was lovely and spacious, really really clean and the shower was incredible. The hotel was just a short walk away from the Albert Docks but we got taxis for most of the activities/meals we had booked in the city. Would recommend here as a place to stay in the city!

All good from start to finish. All staff helpful and polite, any queries or advice dealt with straight away. Rooms were comfortable and clean with the added bonus of a free mini bar. The only fault being that the tea, coffee and milk wasn't replenished, we had to ask. Nice to have a reputable restaurant on site. We used this one night and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Breakfast was also served here and catered for all, good variety and nice to be served with a good quality full english.

What a wonderful hotel, I stayed here a few weeks with my family and we all had a wonderful time thanks to the amazing team there. The highlight for us was breakfast where the team was even more exceptional, especially Julie who was amazing with my children! Would recommend to anyone looking to stay in Liverpool!

Great location just away from all the hubbub. Staff on reception welcoming without being "plastic". Nice modern reception area with TV and lounge chairs for a casual meeting area or quiet drink from the nearby bar. Room modern and comfortable with great towels, slippers, dressing gown, tea making facilities. Although weirdly the tea tray was in the wardrobe, but nowhere to plug in, have to take tray to v small "desk" on opposite side of the room. That needs a rethink, for space. Full size quality iron and board too. Nice walk in shower, with the usual hotel game of guess which knob does what (like hotel light switches, still, provides entertainment if there's nothing on telly😉). Air conditioned individually, key card operation. No luggage table to unpack on. Didn't eat, but the bar (restaurant) was well stocked, and quick friendly service. Checkout was quick and easy, and again friendly staff ready for a laugh. (I went to complain that "the towels were too big", and attentively he wrote it on a slip for later review, until I added " to fit in my bag" ). Good hotel, definitely use again.

Nice room, shame that it had scaffolding up during our stay but never mind. Bed was comfortable and I had a good nights sleep. Services were very good, my partner couldn't work out how to use air con but someone came up straight away to show him. Location good, short distance walk from main attractions.

We had a lovely stay at the Hotel Indigo. Rebecca at reception was incredibly helpful and professional and made our stay enjoyable. Other members on the team like Eva and Danielle were a big help and obliging. The breakfast was delicious and Steven who was serving was engaging. All in all a very pleasant stay would definitely stay again.

Having stayed at the Intercontinental O2 in June, which is supposedly 5 star, I would suggest that they take some tips from this 4 star hotel. Air conditioning that worked and prompt with any requests. When we stayed there, the hotel was being renovated, so there was scaffolding outside our room so we had an automatic reduction on the price of the room, as well as a free bar, which made up for any inconvenience. The Intercontinental had quite a bit that wasn't open or working, but nothing to make up for it.

Beautiful hotel which is clean. The bed was super comfy, I had amazing nights sleep. Staff are friendly & helpful, with great room service. Breakfast was delicious with many dietary need substitutes. Definitely will stay again here when in liverpool.
