I went to this hotel on 08/24/2012 for one night. I rented a suite for £230, which I expected would be enough for a good service and the price which i paid Of course, the view of the hotel from the outside good , But there is no parking You have to drive your car for two minutes or more to reach the car park and pay £13. For 24 hours. There is no guest service to help guests carry their bags to the rooms you have to carry it yourself. The bed was double king size when i booked online but in fact it is just two double beds next to each other there there is space in the middle of them 😰 There is no fridge in the suite so to cool your drink you have to go down to the reception and put your drink with them to cool them Then coming down again and collect 😵‍💫 Old furniture that reminds me of the 90's 🥴 So I decided don’t take their breakfast because the service was bad from the beginning don’t want anymore surprises The room’s service came at 12pm and they opened the door and tried to enter without even knocking the door Or say hello they should know there is people inside or no or call from reception Whoever looks the hotel does not deserve only two stars Was the worst night on hotel 😔

Make sure to use ʜᴏᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏm when booking your hotel. This web site will compare countless booking websites and typically will have rooms much cheaper than others! You're welcome :)! This resort is the best rated in this area. I've been coming here for a long time. If you stay for a few days you definitely will love it I'm sure! Staff were really helpful, the pool facilities were great, the breakfast was exceptional....and a great location for Liverpool City Sights

All Staff were amazing really polite and helpful each and every one. Lady on the bar went above and beyond to help us, even personally coming up to our room to open a bottle for us on the 6th floor. Her service was impeccable 👌 she went above and beyond. Bed was huge and so comfy, view was nice x

I have decided to put the 4 stars because the staff is amazing and willing to help. Hotels location is good however the rooms are in need of renovation. In several of them the air conditioning was not working properly and after a couple of visits of the maintenance people and a night they decided to upgrade us. the breakfast is good especially the full English which is superb for being a hotel one

Nice hotel situated just outside the city centre which is easy walking distance, great staff, lovely buffet breakfast. The room was comfortable and very clean, little bit of wear and chips on some of the furniture hence 4 stars, but to be fair that is being very critical. Would use again.

Had a great experience at the hotel - room was clean and tidy, and staff were helpful when checking in/out. The location was perfect for us to explore the centre of Liverpool on our holiday - we were walking distance from almost everything we wanted to see/do. The breakfast buffet had everything you could want - hot full english, pastries, fruit, full continental spread, coffee/tea, freshly squeezed juice etc.

Hotel was very good. The staff were friendly and professional. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 star was the staircase leading to the spa was a bit dangerous. The breakfast buffet wasn't great and they wanted a time we were to have breakfast which felt restricted. Would have been nice if there was a fridge in room, but other than that it was good.

Just had our wedding day/night here and it was beautiful! Sara & Damon went above and beyond to make sure things go to plan. Rooms were clean, spacious and a lovely view from the junior suite including 2 en suites and living room. Canapés wise could have been greater and served proportionally but not everyone got something. This is observed accordingly and Sara checks in regularly. I'm definitely glad I chose as my venue and would love a replay! Breakfast choice is varied, lots there to help yourself, lovely atmosphere and surroundings

Nice hotel, clean and tidy, great location. We had a river view, beautiful outlook. Breakfast not great as cooked stuff quite greasy, only noticed I could have ordered some fresh cooked eggs after I got the cooked stuff so my fault.

No aircon and unable to even part open windows, the room was stifling. I was there for a business meeting and the coffee break area was shocking, machines broken, ran out of cups, no water and area was dirty, no staff around to resolve these issues. Very disappointing. But to find a positive the room was clean and the bed was extremely comfy.

Lovely hotel with efficient helpful pleasant staff . Rooms lovely spacious and very clean .plenty of wardrobe space for clothes . Only one complaint. Yes it is an expensive hotel breakfast should be included but is not .

The staff were good and the service we received was as expected. The room, however, was not. It wasn't yp to standard at all. Damage to the door, filthy windows, broken tiles in the bathroom, and a general state of uncleanliness. We used the swimming pool facilities which were a disgrace. Freezing cold pool, freezing cold jacuzzi, paint flaking off the walls, a steam room with no steam, and a sauna that only holds 4 people - not impressed. Location of the hotel would be its saving grace. Walking distance to the town centre. All in all - I don't imagine I will be back. A lot of alternative options that provided a far better experience within this area.

A very uncharacteristic Radisson. The room was very questionable. I’ve seen Army barracks and student accommodation dorms better than here. There were bottles scattered in the hallways for our entire stay. The painting in our room had a hole in it and some weird substance smeared on it? The entire room was dinged and scratched with zero effort to maintain or refinish the paint or walls. This was also the case for the hallways. The lobby was actually decent, but that’s about it. IF was to put forth minimal effort, I’d probably only focus on the front customer facing entrance. A pretty good bait and switch. Attempting to call the front desk with the dust covered phone was also unsuccessful. Attempting to eat breakfast here was also dismal. I didn’t get very far. The plates were dirty so I figured I’d probably be safe and not eat here… still paid for breakfast though :) I thought I’d do the staff a courtesy and let them know about at least half of my findings, but when attempting to leave, they were nowhere to be found. Very very odd stay… attached are photos incase you are in between staying here and literally anywhere else in Liverpool. £188 for one night stay with ‘breakfast’

No air conditioning in our room which was over 25 degrees C (cooler outside but windows do not open). 7 hours after complaining )pre 3pm) nothing had been done. Discovered this at 9.50, No manager to complain to, just a young lad on reception who was unable to get a manager to deal with the complaint as he had gone home at 5 pm. In fairness to him he offered to get us booked I. At another hotel which was more expensive but we would have to pay for this, then wait for our refund to be processed by Radisson blue. Head office would do nothing either when I called them, all I wanted was them to get someone in charge to deal with it Absolute shambles, would not stay in a hotel run by this group again, am expecting a full refund plus compensation for ruining our anniversary weekend

  • 3/5 Paula C. 1 year ago on Google
Not the best experience for our Liverpool break. My partner had paid extra for the anniversary package which included chocolates and rose petals on the bed. This was charged at £20 yet we were greeted by a £2 box of quality street, 20 paper petals on the bed and a card with the price left on it! He had asked for an upgrade if possible yet on arrival we were told the hotel was full due to conferences. It hadn't been 2 days earlier and clearly still wasn't we were just lied to. The room was spacious but after being told we had a river view we found only a slither of the river if we stood far left and peered as for to the right as possible! The air conditioning was rubbish as was the mattress and the pillows. We ordered breakfast via the sign on the door which arrived half an hour late but was continental not full English and had to he changed so we ate an hour after our desired time. After our first night and not feeling great about everything that had happened my partner contacted management. Thankfully the duty manager was understanding and agreed to move us to another room and compensate for the first night and lack of quality. Second night was much better, mattress better quality (we asked for more pillows, air conditioning worked much better and we had a lovely view of the river. Breakfast was correct on the the second morning and arrived in a timely manner. Overall the management taking our dissatisfaction seriously saved our trip away. We were ready to go home after the first night. Not sure I would recommend the Raddison Blu though.

Booked a superior room with river view. On the website it showed our room as a standard room. It wasn't worth nearly £300 for 2 nights. The bed was 2 single beds pushed together and woke up with painful back. My husband booked as a late valentines romantic weekend, but as an agent I could have booked under travel agent rates.

One of the worst hotel's I have ever stayed in. Hardly any staff, dirty dishes with old food left in the corridor the entire stay. Asked reception for s bottle opener, to be told they didn't have one. Asked for extra pillows as I have a bad back, was told we don't have any. Breakfast was disgusting, the hot food was not edible. No option to have a fresh fried or poached egg. Hard pastries. Thankfully the duty manager refunded the cost of our 2 Breakfasts, otherwise we would have paid £37 for 2 teas and some bread. The duty manager was very apologetic and seemed genuinely embarrassed at the poor service we had receive. Only one working lift, that you had to walk up a flight of stairs to access. Would never dream of staying in a Radisson after staying here. Don't waste your money, stay somewhere else, I recommend the Titanic Hotel on the Dock Rd, rooms, food, facilities and staff all excellent and actually cheaper than this hotel.

Unfortunately stayed here last night for my birthday.. perfect location and beautiful reception & bar however we then checked in to our room that stunk of pure cigarettes & corridors full of empty bottles thankfully we were aloud to change rooms. We went into the health & spa which was so unclean with a freezing cold jacuzzi & pool and a steam room with no steam :( to top my birthday stay off I came back in the morning to my car window smashed on car park which apparently happens a lot in that area police say! Covered in CCTV THAT DOES NOT WORK ! we returned to the hotel to inform staff the incident and help us with something to clean the glass and they just apologised & refused help knowing we had a long journey back home :( so disappointing for 4* rating hotel.

Booked on a deal through Living Social. Other than a mix up with the room allocated (we never did get the room and spec we had paid for!) it was a great stay in a great location 👍

I travelled to Liverpool to renew my Passport. I stayed overnight and it was pure pleasure. The room and the hospitality was excellent. I’d like to pass on my warmest thanks to the Concierge and his staff who always offered me kind and helpful advice.

We paid 170 a night for a 2 night stay. The hotel location is brilliant, local greggs, tesco, sainsburys, couple mins walk to innside hotel which has a sky bar and Ginos restaurant. Took us 10 mins to walk to Liverpool one, and there's bars and restaurants along the way... Now for the hotel itself: Reception area is lovely, huge and spacious and very modern, reception staff service was great, and facilities are really good. We upgraded to a river view room and the view was brilliant, the windows dont open but air con is good. The room itself was a good size. With kettle, coffee machine, iron, iron board and safe. I thought it would have a fridge so disappointed that it didn't. We did have x 2 bottles of water waiting for us, towel gowns & slippers and bathroom toiletries. The furniture in the room is ok, but stains on carpet and awful stains on the pillow which I've never even seen in a basic hotel. This definitely lets the hotel down. The pillow should be thrown away. All in all had a good stay, but hotel was not worth the money other than the location.

Very tired hotel. No fridge in toom, bedhead lamp missing to left in our room, carpets old huge stain on ours. Would not return. Location OK for central eateries.

We booked this hotel for it's location. If it hadn't been so convenient then we wouldn't have stayed here. For a 4* hotel it is shabby, and needs some work and tlc. The lights in our room didn't work, the lift was out of order, and paint is peeling off the walls in the pool area. Nothing major but you'd generally expect better from raddison and from a 4*.

Lovely hotel, stayed for a special birthday treat for 2 nights. we were a 2 minute walk from Gino d'campo restaurant where we ate. we were probably a 10 to 15 minute walk into L1 but it was a nice walk, very central to shopping, Albert docks etc. AMAZINGLY COMFY KING OR SUPER KING BED ...IT WAS HUGE! Lovely clean room and bathroom, we had a great river view too & of the docks, very pretty at night. The only thing I couldn't sort was any heating in the room...it wasn't particularly cold but not warm for me either.

Very friendly staff who go the extra mile to help you out. Had very clean rooms with plenty of space, although the beds could have been better (they are two singles pushed together, which can make it uncomfortable in the night). Nice shower and amenities provided. Clearly, there was a fridge at one point however this has been removed. Access to a decent gym with reasonable equipment (fewer Cardio machines would be more helpful with more weights). Location is good for access. Everything is about a ten to fifteen minute walk away but this is easily doable (and you could always get a cab). Parking is close for drivers and there is ample public transport for access around Liverpools suburbs. The staff are really what made this, and they are bright cheery and really do go out of their way to make the trip enjoyable.

Friendly staff, massive beds. Would recomend giving some of the local restaurants a go and there's a decent enough gym if you're into that.

Very disappointed, this is meant to be a four star, I'd only give it two stars. The room has stains on the carpet. Both sheets had a hole in them, which I reported twice still didn't get changed. The swimming pool! 1, is very small and definitely not suitable for persons with any disabilities, 2, you have to go down stairs to go through the entrance, to go back up stairs (no lift) to the changing rooms, the steam room is quite small and dingy.... To get to the pool, you have to go down a rickety spiral staircase. We only went in once. But the steam room and pool, were why we booked here as it was a three night stay.

Nothing to moan about this hotel it ticked every box it's situated in the business area.... so you may want something nearer the town .... but we found it suited us clean comfortable room....and breakfast great too .

Positives: Lovely hotel, friendly staff. Room was spotless. Buffet breakfast had a great selection. Bed was really comfy. Negatives: Only decaf coffee at breakfast was a sachet so couldn't get a ground filter coffee. I took the offer of an upgrade for £35 and when I went to pay at arrival I was charged £70, didn't state anywhere that it was £35 per night (I booked for 2 nights)

Very dated hotel room, aircon wouldn’t turn off and the bolt had been ripped off the door. The bed is just two singles put together

  • 4/5 Emily G. 1 year ago on Google
When booking this hotel we thought it would be one of the superior ones in Liverpool however it was pretty average. Dated in parts. On check in our room wasnt ready, on walking in to the room it hadn't been turned around so we got moved to another. The air con was awful and ended up with fans in the room to compensate. Good selection at breakfast offered for free due to the issues we had with the rooms.

  • 3/5 Christopher D. 2 years ago on Google
interesting hotel. Very nice lobby and overall layout. Room leaves a bit to be desired. Main concern is the broken air conditioner and how uncomfortably warm the room is. I've had to prop open my door with a shoe to get some wisps of cool air flowing. Windows do not open. Perhaps this is a minor issue but the carpet in my room is so odd, mustard yellow with little red squares. Never seen one like it. On the positive side, it's a very good, safe location for my purposes and the bed is large and comfy. Hopefully I will be able to sleep tonight with the warmth of this room. Nice hotel, expected a bit more out of the room experience.

Lovely hotel with very friendly staff. Rooms very clean and tidy. Nothing too much trouble. Lovely views over the Mersey and breakfast is great! It's a shame that the hotel is a long way out from the centre of Liverpool.

Hotel beautiful, room a bit tired but clean, comfortable and everything needed for a short stay. Breakfast lovely with a huge choice of both hot and cold dishes.

We had a voucher for a 2-course meal and when we saw a similar offer for overnight stay we booked it and thought it was unbelievable value - £69 superior room and included use of spa, a £22 bottle of wine and 2 x £14 breakfast. Our evening meal was really delicious and I would like to thank Chloe who talked us through the menu, made great recommendations and suggested where to go afterwards for cocktails and she was very attentive. Lovely big bed, clean and central - for the money we could not fault it.

Nice hotel. Quick check in and pleasant staff. Well located in the centre of Liverpool a short walk from Moorfields station. Very clean and tidy. Comfortable bed. Room service and drinks prices very expensive and food quality not great.

  • 5/5 Liz W. 2 years ago on Google
We had a superior room which overlooked the Mersey. The room was spacious, quiet and the air con was sufficient. Breakfast was lovely, everything you needed with friendly helpful staff. It was only a ten minute walk to the attractions too. Overall a wonderful stay xx

Only stayed one night the restaurant was closed but the bar sold food but a smaller menu. Very nice room but not enough lights very dark & not very warm no radiators just A/C which we couldn't figure out to turn up. Nice bed. Plenty of room lovely black out curtains good job I took my pyjamas cold. Overall not bad but it's not a four star hotel

  • 3/5 John H. 2 years ago on Google
Comfortable room and friendly, helpful staff. BUT not living up to 4-star rating. Restaurant only open Friday and Saturday, but was closed on Friday, and only limited bar food available. Room not cleaned or serviced during our thee-night stay. Yet charging £180 a night for 3-night booking and nearly £300 for Saturday night only. Hotel is very short-staffed and having to cut corners.

  • 3/5 rachel c. 1 year ago on Google
Rooms clean and comfortable, however no storage for folded items of clothing unless you were 6ft tall. No ventilation in the room, air con did not work making the room incredibly hot, light above the bath did not work making having a shower dark. Cracked basin and the plug did not raise. Poor lighting in the elevators. Promised robes and slippers, but when asked for, they were not made available. Staff very friendly and helpful. Food plentiful at breakfast.

  • 3/5 Gareth T. 1 year ago on Google
Staff were very friendly and professional, more so the female staff actually. The foyer area is a very nice place, I imagine when the hotel first opened it gave everyone something to talk about as it’s centrepiece! Our room was very clean but dated, the wood furniture was different for each piece - very random ranging from dark wood through to light! The red & beige carpet and curtains need changing pronto - not very “Blu”. The bed was huge, as in absolutely massive. Obviously two put together. Shower was powerful. We opted for the additional breakfast for two mornings and to be fair for a tenner each it’s decent, if a bit too greasy. You have to ask for fried eggs on special order. The lifts have a mind of their own - factor in another 5-10 mins when heading out as they can take forever sometimes and the light cancels. We paid near £400 for Easter bank holiday weekend (3-nights) which I think was a bit steep considering it needs refurbishing. The White Bar is ok if passing the time waiting for a taxi or something.

Big comfy bed , thick robes and towels. That’s about it. Here now- leaving tomorrow. Premium room is supposed to have a Nespresso machine but doesn’t. 2 tea bags per day! Out of date milk. Room like a sauna- air con doesn’t work. Tray of dirty dishes from previous occupant still on the floor outside our door. At 9pm went downstairs and asked if it could be removed and please could we have some tea bags and milk- it was promised to be sent up to our room but never came. Following morning dirty dishes still there! Spoke to a very nice young receptionist ( who was having to deal with a queue of people complaining.) Told her about tray, heat, lack of coffee machine etc. She said the manager was busy setting up yet another wedding but she would speak to him- if air con can’t be fixed we could move rooms. When we came back later there was such a long queue it was a waste of time trying to find out what they had sorted- I thought maybe there was a note in our room? Nope. The standard 2 tea bags ( don’t expect a biscuit either) and the room is an oven. Bonus - the dirty dishes finally removed. There seems to be constant weddings- no time for the ordinary guest paying a fortune for what should have been a touch of luxury as a treat. It’s also in a tatty street that is quite a walk to sights and theatres. We chose this hotel after a pleasant stay at Manchester airport but it is much lower standard. We hope to get some sleep tonight in this airless hot room and will never return. Premier inn will be a better choice- save your money.

Absolutely appalled. Only one lift working, rooms were very standard, no water, no coffee, lights didn’t all work. Parking was a joke. Why wouldn’t you say that it was a street away. Who likes walking to a hotel with their bags and cases? Breakfast was less than desirable. Reception staff didn’t know where the room was, where the gym or pool was?Pool, steam and sauna are all well out dated. Grouting is all flakey, tiles are wobbly. There facilities are not in hotel by the way. There’s is nothing that flows in this hotel. Radisson hotels are normally 'quite' acceptable. This one needs a complete update. Come on guys! £234 per night? I’m really disappointed and feel really sad. We drove a long way to stay here. I feel as if we deserved better.

Check in very good. On my way to my room i was greated with dirty pots and bottles outside people's rooms and they were still there on my second morning. Rooms in need of a deep clean dust everywhere. Service at the bar is very slow . My daughter tuck ill and was sick in the venue room, now one was interested no help. I was charged £1 for a glass of water shocking. Breakfast what can I say I though my works canteen was bad but this takes it to another level. Hard sausage over cooked bacon and very poor selection for my 7 year old daughter. £190 I paid for my room for Service like like this never again.

Too bad it's far from centre. The hotel is nice and clean. The rooms are good sized and the bathroom has a bath and a good shower. The linen is nice and we appreciated the luxurious duvet and thick towels. We were there during the heatwave a d the air conditioning barely kept us cool. The pool and sauna were open and it was pleasant. The steam room is closed and the water jets/long faucets don't operate We swam and sat in the Jacuzzi. Pool is warm and the Jacuzzi is at same temp, which is too cold for me. The breakfast was really nice with an array of pastries, breads, cereals, cold cuts, cheese and of course the usual english bacon, eggs, sausage, mushrooms etc. The restaurant is open for dinner on weekends only. Room service is operating all day and evenings. The staff was respectful and very helpful.

Lovely room, enjoyed the woman's Euro game on the huge TV! Lucky to have a working fridge for cold water. Housekeeping was excellent! came in every day, any little issues were noticed and sorted before we could alert reception, well done! First morning, lack of staff was obvious in the busy dining room at breakfast, we adjusted timings so it wouldn't be as busy. We enjoyed our 4 nights here

Stayed during heat wave in August 2022 and since it was a rare event we have to take that into consideration, but so should they when determining prices. I think overall the price they charge for the whole experience is too much. Chose it because we assumed it to be of equal standard to the Manchester RB. It wasn't. As others have said, dated interior, minor damage and defects here and there. The doors seemed to require an unusually large amount of force to open. Bed had two mattresses stuck together, so the middle was uncomfortable. Air conditioning was insufficient for heat wave and we had to ask for a fan, which was promptly bought, but was inadequate. Breakfast was good. The Bar staff and food were great. Wouldn't come back.

Only attended the gym & Spa, towel offered upon arrival, a great place for a solo adventure or as a couple. The gym is quite small but offers everything you need as not many people use it during the weekdays. Steam room, sauna, swimming pool & jacuzzi available in the spa Big open changing rooms with warm hot water for the showers, cold water dispenser in the gym & next to the sauna. A great place to go & unwind

I stay at Radisson blu Liverpool on the 19/12/22 my stay was lovely room with a river view clean room couldn't fault it. Paula on reception was lovely checking everyone nothing was a problem to her even though she was really busy. Breakfast was amazing with loads to choose from 😍. Staff came up to check if everything was OK with breakfast, plenty of healthy options to choose from. You honestly cannot fault this place. Thank you Paula and staff for an amazing stay will be back. this place

Reception staff welcoming. Room clean. Evening meal nice, not enough tables available, and the sofa seats are too low. Nobody making themselves available at breakfast time (06:30) to clear dishes and/or deal with requests for eggs etc. Lady marking rooms off the residency list but nobody to interact with.

My stay was a fully funded business trip. Nice hotel, good leisure facilities, staff are friendly and helpful. No evening restaurant, faulty elevator during my stay and rates become extortionate when local events dictate. Will not stay again for reasons listed above although this is not a reflection on the staff. Will stay in a hotel that doesn’t shaft normal folk when the circus is in town..

Stayed for three days at Radisson Blu hotel in Liverpool along with My partner for our anniversary & it was great With receptionists polite & helpful however the only fault with our room was the Bed the mattress was solid like laying on a rock are backs where killing after our stay, however the view was lovely from our room which was 403 floor 4 with a beautiful view. however another fault was the plug in the bath room as Me & My partner was struggling to get it out to drain the bath water. & Phone By the Bed was not working either had to use the one in the bathroom for Room service. another lovely part to the hotel was the Grand piano in the lobby which did have some guests playing it The Location in superb however the facilities ie the Pool, sauna was Grim needs desperate Upgrading grotty & unclean the Gym on the other hand was great overall 3⭐️but has the potential to be even greater.
