The hotel is ideally located for the Pier Head and the Albert Dock. The staff are all friendly and helpful. We had two breakfasts and one dinner. The food was well presented and tasty. We got a free upgrade and our room overlooked the river with a fantastic view of the Liver Building. The bed was king sized and very comfortable and warm. As in most hotels these days the lack of decent lighting was problematic. The bathroom was compact including the bath itself. The shower was very powerful and the water was always hot. Good value for money and I would stay again.

Great location, only a short walk from the docks. Check in was busy, we arrived at 3pm. We had to queue for about 20 minutes but once seen, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was nice and also clean. Bed was comfy. We had a coffee machine in our room but no pods to be used with it (not sure if you have to request these or whether it's a different room upgrade option). I also could not get the safe to work. Breakfast was good, very quick and easy. Check out was fast as we only had to drop our key in the check out box.

A very nice experience indeed. Room: Was just like the photos on the website when I booked it. Super clean and modern. Only the wardrobe needs new soft closing hinges 😂. There was an iron in an ironing table too. Toilet is modern and new but there was no bathtub as mentioned in the room description but I was there only for 1 night and it is not a big deal for me. View: I was not expecting a river-view and it was such a pleasant surprise. In the room description it stated a standard double room with a city view so was only expecting a side-street view. Get to see the sunrise from the 10th floor so was really cool.😊🌅 Reception: Staff were friendly and super quick when checking me in. Food: Haven’t tried their food but maybe try it next time. Price: For the location and the service and quality of room and view I got such a great deal. Location: Very central and by the river. Very convenient. I would definitely come back again. Would love to make a video of the hotel to show its beauty and share it on my social media account. So maybe could do that next time.

We stayed with you for our anniversary weekend. We were greeted by lovely staff and we had a fantastic, spacious room with a great view of the Mersey. The hotel is very close to everything we had planned so we never had to travel far to get to where we wanted. We had a lovely breakfast and everything was cooked great and presented well. All areas of the hotel that we saw were kept clean and tidy and I can’t pick a fault. We’d definitely stay with you again!

Our stay at your hotel was unpleasant to say the least! The first night we were kept up most of the night due to loud banging of the doors in the corridors. They slam shut each time someone passes through! That really needs addressing!!! The sound proofing inside from room to room is poor as we could hear everyone talking and banging around at night and in the early hours of the morning. Your cleaners are also coming early morning waking us to more noise. The food was substandard and of poor quality. We had booked the hotel as we had to move out of our home temporarily. We both work in safety critical roles and so we were unable to attend work the next day as we had not had enough rest due to all the noise. For the money paid I feel it was not good enough.

I am beyond disappointed at my stay. Upon arrival, we were given early check in for free which was nice. However as soon as we entered our room, we immediately wanted to leave. The room was absolutely disgusting. The bed and shower both had pubic hairs. The room was filthy and old. The walls, floors, furniture and amenities were covered in grime and dust. I went to reception and explained all these problems. The receptionist spoke with who I am assuming was her manager and we were told there was no available double rooms for us to move to. My partner and I agreed with the staff that we were fine with staying in our original room if it could be cleaned properly and the bed sheets changed. We went out for a few hours then upon our arrival back to our room we inspected it. The bed was now free from hair but the shower still had hair in it and the room was still disgusting. Our room was conjoined to another room, only separated by a thin wooden door. We could hear our neighbours every move and conversation. We went back down to reception with our complaints and we were moved room due to a new availability. This new room was not much better. It was dirty, the shower had pubic hairs in it and the room unbearably warm, even with the air conditioner on. At this point, we were exhausted and wanted to go to sleep for the night so we grudgingly cleaned the shower ourselves and went to sleep for the night. These rooms are absolutely disgusting, they are a health hazard. My partners eyes are swollen and sore after sleeping on the bed and her asthma symptoms have flared up due to the dust and the humid dirty air. Apart from this we are in a global pandemic. I would expect a standard of hygiene. I have tried to contact you many times about this but I have not got a response.

Room nice and quite, slightly on small side but probably due to huge comfy bed. Lighting was on low side, bathroom good and clean, shaver socket not working but night porter supplied plug to use mains. My real complaint was blood splatter on wall by bed ! When day staff eventually found on front desk, they were surprised but not apologetic

Hotel is a little dated but as my first trip to the city since the pandemic i found it really nice, the rooms were great , bed very comfortable and slept well. The carpark price for 24 hours only £11.50 most others are £15. The main part for me was the friendly staff on reception particularly the manager , very softly spoken and welcoming

The only positive point about this hotel is it’s location - very easy to walk to all of the main attractions in Liverpool. General appearance - neglected, dirty, in need of a coat of paint and basic maintenance . - most staff, with the exception of the receptionists, appeared miserable and didn’t interact with guests Room - dirty, certainly didn’t look as if it had been thoroughly cleaned after the previous guest. The room was dark due to insufficient natural and artificial light. Rooms weren’t cleaned during our 4 day stay. There wasn’t even a toilet brush so that we could keep the toilet clean. All supplies - tea bags, milk, towels, toilet roll etc had to be collected from reception Food - breakfast - there was plenty of food available at breakfast but it was the same choices every day. Different breads, cold meats, grapefruit etc would have been nice. - dinner - this was awful. We were part of a coach party so knew we would have a limited set menu. The food was basic, unimaginative, and poorly presented. On 2 occasions we complained about the food being cold but no apology or acceptable explanation for this was given. Most of the restaurant staff appeared quite miserable and not enjoying their work. This hotel certainly does not deserve its 4 star rating

A *very* reasonably priced hotel, considering its central location. A couple of weird smells in the corridor, and a very funky smelling air conditioning unit (important because the windows didn’t open), lose it star.

What a lovely hotel! The car park was easy enough to navigate but our room had such an amazing view 😍 We were only there one night, but wished we could have stayed longer!

A four star review of a four star hotel. I was very lucky that upon arrival, the good people at reception upgraded me from a standard room to one of their suites on the top floor with a spectacular view of the Liver Building, and river Mersey, right over towards the Wirral and beyond. Whilst the room was not what I would describe as luxurious, it was very clran and very comfortable indeed for my stay, with a separate lounge area, mini bar with complimentary soft drinks, a nice coffee maker etc. The bed was comfy and a nice corner bath for a soak before or after a hard day's work. The staff seemed efficient and courteous even if the description of how to get to the pre paid car park was a little too brief (I drove straight past it the 1st time). I can't comment on catering as I didn't use any of these services. All in all, a very good week with a fantastic and very private view.

Stunning hotel. Great dining room and breakfast. Resturant and Terrace were fabulous with great views. One of best Mercure hotels we've stayed in. Was upgraded to a stunning suite. Staff are a delight and cannot do enough for you. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Wow, what an amazing view, room was massive with a river view. Breakfast was a buffet to suit anyone's taste. Staff are are helpful and make this a 4 star hotel. Right next door to the liver building. 10 min walk to the cavern club, also handy for any ferry connections.

  • 4/5 Ron I. 9 months ago on Google
The hotel is a little 'worn'. The rooms are too small - but the view towards the river and the Liver Buildings is impressive. The named call buttons on the phone did not work. There are three lifts - only two were working when we arrived and one then broke down. One lift in such a large building with two large groups staying is not good. However the staff were wonderful - helpful, friendly and flexible. We are vegan and there were two acceptable main courses for us - but on our second night Mikey, the chef, made two excellent meals (off menu) - a vegetable vegan risotto, and a vegetable melange - both very tasty.

Comfortable beds, good nights sleep. What was lacking was filling up of tea bags, milks for the room. Also the sanitary bags were never filled up. I noticed also in the lobby, no ramp when a party of elderly people came to stay, my brother helped them lift their cases up the stairs!! Saw one of your staff walk the other way, not a good advertisement for your hotel!

We were sailing to the Isle of Mann and needed a room for the night. The room was fine, met all our requirements. Overall the place is a bit dated and needs an upgrade. As per other reviews, there was a lift out of order.....again!!!

Arrived in the morning the day before a cruise and we were able to leave our luggage and go out and about until check in time. Room had a good view out over the dock area. The cruise company contacted us to put our boarding time back and again the lovely staff were very happy to hold onto our luggage until it was time to go to the terminal which is a quick 4 minute walk from the hotel.

Stayed here lots of times! Good competitive price (with breakfast included) on Secret Escapes. Clean room, with all facilities. Friendly ,helpful staff. Central for all Liverpool City experiences (especially the Waterfront).Like the bar terrace! Reasonably priced drinks. Iconic building. Fantastic location on the Mersey opposite the Liver Buildings and St Nicks Church .Great view if you are facing The Strand! Would have scored higher ,but only one lift was working -which is a pain ,especially at busy times.

Great stay, American tourists were very loud in the morning. When they were up, so everyone was up. No consideration for other guests. Staff should have a word with them. Apart from that, rooms had a nice view, bed excellent.

Lovely hotel, rooms really nice and clean. Great friendly service. Great breakfast, but the evening meal was poor. It had a set menu with only 3 main course options, and when it came out, the food was very dry.

Recently had the pleasure of staying in this fantastic hotel near the Albert Docks. It is excellently located on the Mersey and is in easy walking distance to the Ropewalks area of Liverpool where there is some great food to be had and some great shops to visit as well as Liverpool ONE shopping centre. The hotel itself is easy to find and access and has its own designated car parking area on the next street. There is of course a fee for using the parking area and it is about £14 for 24 hours. The hotel is spread out over 13 floors which are accessed by three lifts. During our stay, only two of these were operating and the wait for one to come when required was quite long, but no more than usual for a lift. Some of the items and areas here are a bit dated now and some of the furniture could do with updating in the bar and restaurant areas, but one thing is for sure, they may be a bit dated and worn, but they are sure clean! When we visited, everything was spotless so credit to the maintenance team here indeed. The room we stayed in was lovely, no complaints at all. It was a nice little surprise to actually have a river view and a cracking view of the Liver building as well. The room, like the rest of the hotel was very clean and had a lovely fresh smell. The bathroom, even though a little on the small side was again very clean and stocked with the usual toiletries and fresh, clean towels. The room also had tea/coffee making facilities, a safe, hairdryer and also an iron with ironing board. The bed was also very comfortable with two pillows for each of us and the sleep was great to be honest with little street noise in the room due to the good glazing. The breakfast we had which was included in our stay was also fine, your usual standard offerings but was well cooked and nice and hot. The staff here are also super friendly and professional. Every member of the team here were all so polite and helpful, a true credit to the hotel. If you’re after a one or two night stay here, I’d definitely recommend it. Good location, great staff and a good nights sleep.

Really enjoyed our room and our stay. A few niggles meant only 9/10; no capsules for the coffee machine in the room although reception gave a couple decaf if requested, no slippers with the robes, poor quality toilet roll. Very pleasant and helpful staff.

I had a wonderful stay at the Mercure Liverpool Atlantic Hotel when visiting for my friends’ wedding in July. The staff were warm and accommodating throughout my whole stay. The room was clean and spacious with arguably the most comfortable bed I’ve experienced in a hotel. Not to mention there was air conditioning! While there was 1 elevator out of service, I honestly didn’t feel like it was a major inconvenience like other review make it seem. Most importantly, the location of this hotel simply can’t be beat as it’s literally steps away from the absolutely gorgeous Liverpool waterfront. I’ll definitely be staying here the next time I’m in town!

This is a centrally located hotel. The rooms are well furnished but the standard rooms are on the small side in my view. Breakfast is good and staff are friendly. Very easy to walk to many key attractions from this hotel

Excellent weekend spent with friends. Hotel was the ideal location within easy few minutes walk to all the iconic sites of Liverpool. The staff were friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast was delicious with plenty of choices for all tastes. Would definitely recommend a break at the hotel and will happily return for another visit. Thankyou

Rooms are a good size, we had a twin room, could do with 2 bedside tables. Had to ask for the room to be serviced, no shower gel, and was still not replaced when we asked. Need more coat hangers Only one lift is working, so had a long wait Breakfast buffet was good, lots of tables available

Hotel looked grubby from outside . Smelted lovely the only really good thing about this hotel . We'd just come back from dinner on our first night . When to got a bottle of wine had a glass disgusting wine decided to take it to our room . Got stuck in the lift with 2 other guests . Alarm bell not help lucky I had my phone to call for help. Got back down to reception for a young lady to tell the 2 woman off for getting in it as it was out of order no sign . I lift working out of 3 . Then the air con unit leaking water on to my partners charger , Lucky his phone not plugged in .

Nice hotel, friendly staff, well located. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Disappointed with the breakfast experience. We were not advised of the times, and reception didn't answer the phone. When we arrived at the restaurant, the only member of staff initially present ignored us as it appeared breakfast was over. We grabbed a few bits that were still available and a very helpful and friendly male member of staff brought us some cutlery and condiments. Our stay could have been much improved if we'd just been made aware of the times.

Disappointing. Communal areas look nice. Room was clean and spacious but not cleaned daily and poorly maintained. Tv didn't work. No light in the room entrance. No fridge or phone. Foul odour in lifts and lift lobby.

What we thought was a 4 star hotel was a bit of a let down, the whole building seems to be in a tired condition and over a two night stay we never had our room refreshed once. the lifts were dirty and the foyer toilets were not the cleanest. The staff however were excellent and very friendly.

Abdoul and Jan in the restaurant absolutely made my stay. Their kindness and hospitality is why I love Liverpool and would not hesitate to use this hotel again. Rooms are quite small and no fridge in the room but location is amazing.

First class. Great location, right opposite the Liver building and river Mersey. Food 👌 excellent. The wonderful receptionist Amelia, is both helpful and charming. We intend to use this for all of our Liverpool trips in future. No doubt! Sean Robinson Twickenham.

My brother gave us a night stay for a Christmas present and we extended it for a long weekend. The hotel was very ideally located, close to the city centre and the docks. We got a free upgrade to a better upon our arrival and were happy with the room's size, view and facilities. The bed was very comfy although the pillows were too soft for our liking. The first evening when we cam back from meeting a friend our TV didn't work but a trip to reception in the morning was advised on how to fix it and had no further issues with it. We did look into eating at the on site restaurant that was advertised on google as open but when we went down it wasn't and was just the bar which wasn't staffed so we had to go out for our evening meal. Despite that was happy with our stay and the late check out was ideal for our train home.

  • 5/5 David C. 6 months ago on Google
Amelia on reception was superb, friendly and very helpful. We requested a room with a view of the river and we received one in the 11th floor, which was outstanding. After a very comfortable night's sleep we were treated to a wonderful cooked breakfast. The staff in the restaurant were very nice and very efficient at seeing to all guests

This wouldn't have been my first choice, But I was booked here for a work conference. However, quite pleased. The room was modern and spacious. Clean nice bathroom. The staff are fantastic. Good central location. Great breakfast. Not that I was paying, great value too. Only negatives for us was that mega slow lifts and the bar is not open that late. This hotel seems popular with coach tours. Not really a bad thing. This was my first time in Liverpool, I really want to come back and see moor of the city. I will 100% use this hotel.

Stayed for a couple of nights. Location is brilliant and only a short walk up to the city centre or across the road to the docks. Rooms were a little bit small, but lovely and clean. Breakfast was lovely. Parking is at addition cost and round the corner, which is a bit of a pain to be honest, but we didn’t move the car so wasn’t an issue.

Front desk was ready to assist with any request. Breakfast was perfect every morning, and the service was prompt, the kitchen paid attention to all details. The buffet was delicious and well attended to. Our room was beautiful! Always clean and stocked with all of the essentials. In Room Dining was quick, hot, and tasted amazing. They had a beautiful set up!!Then quickly removed it upon request.

Beautiful view of the Liver building in a great location and the staff were lovely and very attentive during our evening meal. The hotel room itself was small and covered in dust and the fan was blowing dust around the room & unable to open a window. The phone looked as though it hadn’t been cleaned in years, covered in gunk. Breakfast was a shambles, too many people and not enough food for them, the poor waitresses appeared rushed off their feet. Not up to the usual Accor standards at all, would not recommend!

I wanted to add a review despite NOT staying here. I initially had a booking pre Covid which the hotel were wonderful about with the ensuing cancellation, holding the booking over for future use. I rebooked for Oct this year but had to cancel again because of gig postponement. By this time I had booked additional rooms but Mercure were absolutely fantastic and refunded everything. Their courteous and kind manner would be exceptional in normal times but especially so now. They took off the pressure and panic and my money was returned immediately. Mercure Atlantic should be proud of being a standout hotel and hopefully will be a shining example for others. Thank you Atlantic. . They

This hotel is classed as a 4☆, I would give it a 1☆. Supposed to be deep cleaned and there was dust on the cable of TV the carpet still had debris on it the bins were not emptied during our 4 night stay, we were unable to unlock the door to get in each time we tried had a new key card but it was still the same, had to get toilet roll, clean towels, tea and coffee all from reception. There wasn't any cleaning done whilst we were there it was a total disappointment and the breakfast was poor. I shan't be staying at the Atlantic tower hotel again.i shall give it a 1.5out of 10, not recommended by me.

Like everything about this hotel apart from the kerb appeal. Staff attentive, good food, atmosphere, clean/covid safe, view(if you book river view), less than 10 min walk to liverpool one. Parking close by.

The hotel room was lovely and clean with a gorgeous view . However checking in at 3 pm with a blonde receptionist who was extremely rude , not friendly in any way. We had issue with our room door, when we asked for help she was not happy to help. The other girls at reception were extremely helpful and we were seen to in seconds by them. Great location over all of the hotel.

The experience from start to finish was incredible. Customer service was amazing. Kerry at the front desk went above and beyond for my husband and I. I am 7 months pregnant, unwell and had had a long journey and Kerry was outstanding, so friendly, helpful, I can’t be more thankful. At breakfast the next day I was craving pancakes and despite this not being part of the buffet or an option, Kerry arranged for this to be cooked by the chef Graham. It made the stay so much better than it already was and I felt like a VIP!! The room was amazing and super comfy beds, really good location for everything also. Thank you Kerry and Graham for an amazing stay, not only is the hotel perfect but the staff really make the place.

Great location and service. The hotel looks a bit old and tired. My air conditioner started malfunctioning in the middle of my final night and started whirring loudly every 30 minutes. The river view from my 10th floor room was great. All in all, good value for the location and room. The hotel needs updating though

Great stay at the Atlantic. Staff friendly and helpful. Restaurant food good. Room clean and adequate. Only slight criticism was that the bathroom was a bit tight! Fabulous view from the restaurant by the way(see photo). Definitely would stay there again.

Great location and friendly staff. Bit tired looking inside and in need of some updating. The lounge area downstairs at the other side of reception has a lovely seating area but it was too cold to sit in there for any length of time. The bar area doesn't open till about 4pm so nowhere to go if you want a beer or a coffee. Food really tasty in the restaurant but not a huge choice. Recommend the Korean Chicken Burger..definitely a winner. Plenty of choice for breakfast as its a buffet style. Only problem was the cooked food wasn't very warm at all which was a pity. The coffee in the machines at breakfast was lovely though. I would stay again here for sure

Generally a good experience. Little disappointed having to pay for parking on the hotels own car park £11.50 per night 🤔. Reception service was very good and the view we had on the 8th floor was fantastic. Room was a little small and tired if being critical.

This is a very nice hotel right in the town center and you can see the ferries from the window. Nice people at reception, they treat clients as individuals, really appreciate. Comfortable beds, lovely views, big towels, a good shower and very quiet. In the morning we could listen the bells from the church and that was amazing. I hardly recommend this hotel. Parking space available 100 m away and paying £11 you have 24 hours parking.

A nice clean hotel though with a few tweeks it could have been better. No fill up on tea or coffee in the room even though it was requested. Breakfast certainly not up to standard, I think they were overwhelmed by numbers of guests. Choice was OK, but things like orange juice, ghastly stuff, not enough yogurts, kept running out of things, just stuff like that. The staff though were very helpful and friendly and seemed run off their feet.

Great location. Little hard for the satnav on the car to find, and the carpark is even harder to find as it's not with the hotel. Rooms seem a little dated but very clean and comfy beds. The bar was not too good with having to send my meal back due to a very tough, slow cooked brisket. You could not even cut. The staff got the manager, and she did offer to get me something else, which I chose a tuna sandwich. This took 20 minutes to come to the table, and by them, my husband had eaten is meal and had to sit and wait for my meal and then for me to eat it. The worst part was watching him eat his meal whilst mine went back. The manager then charged us full price. Not very good customer service. They do have a lovely outdoor seating area with a great view. When we went, the restaurant was closed, so that may be better. Apart from that experience, I would say give the hotel a try, but maybe not the bar food.

Hotel was in a great location (if not a little difficult to get to initially). The staff were very friendly and welcoming. On arrival in the room there were a couple of things missing but the staff rectified it straight away and gave us a couple of bottles of water to say sorry. The room was very spacious and the bed was enormous. Breakfast was good on both days and the staff very helpful. Would definitely stay again.

Reception area was lovely and the ladies behind the desk were really friendly and helpful. But however probably the worst 2 nights sleep iv ever had in a hotel. The bed was fine but the air con kept blowing out hot air despite changing it to cool so during the night we were so hot. Another thing there was no access to open a window which I find really bad that you can't get some fresh air in! We won't be staying here again

Excellent location of the hotel in the city center and very close to the Docks. Room are fine. Bed are comfortable, the bathroom is very small. They are dog friendly but at what price! How big was our surprise when paying 55£ for a two adults room, they asked for 20£ for our dog! So almost the 50% of the price was increased! What a rip-off...the told us it was the policy of the hotel, but we didn't find such information anywhere...

Initially the room looked reasonable if a little cramped, seemed clean and tidy on arrival. On the first day we unpacked and went out, we did not try to use the air conditioner until our late return only to find it was not working. As it was late we decided to leave reporting this until the next day, a young lady tried on two occasions to get it operational without success and said she would get the manager to attend. The Manager again made two attempts to fix without success and said he would get maintenance to attend whilst we were out. On our return we found that nothing had changed and the unit was still inoperable. After yet another uncomfortable night I reported the fault again whilst returning the iron which was leaking and caused the electricity to trip leaving my wife with wet hair being unable to use the hairdryer. After calling Reception and waiting another fifteen minutes I took the iron to reception and again aired my grievances. On return to the room I found that maintenance were in attendance and fixed the electrical problem. I asked if they had been contacted with regards the air conditioning, I was told that they had attended but could not fix. This is my last night in this hotel, and probably the last in any Mercure hotels. I’m still awaiting any contact from management with regards a solution to any of the faults and do not expect any forthcoming. My worst hotel experience bar none.

Stayed for 2 nights with Mercure Liverpool Atlantic Tower Hotel and overall, we enjoyed our stay with them. The bed was comfortable and the toilet was clean. The hotel has nearby car parking site with charges, which was cheaper than getting separate parking outside. They charge per 24-hour system, so it is worth it. Staff was friendly and helpful in sharing information. Breakfast was okay. The down side was that the room was a little smaller than being described in the website. We booked a double bedroom which said to be 30 meter square, but its room entrance was a little narrow for pram and it was a little cramped with our baby's pram in the room. We also thought their housekeeping could do a better job in cleaning as we found stained on the cups and teaspoons. We also had limited facial tissue in the toilet as it did not look like being replenished regularly. But other than that we were very happy with our stay. The location is great as it is very close to the Royal Albert Dock, The Beatles Pier Head, Museum of Liverpool and other tourist attractions nearby. It is also within 20 minutes walking distance to the city centre to explore. Having said that, this hotel is probably best option for business travelers as it is very close to central business district.

The room was lovely (a Privilege room), really well decorated, spacious, clean. The bed was also really comfortable (I like a firm mattress, but not too hard - it was spot on!). The view over the Mersey was great. Less good, two of the lifts were broken and we were on the fifth floor, so lots of stair use (and when one of those lifts was fixed, someone got stuck in it). Breakfast was really busy and as a vegetarian, it was disappointing that the eggs ran out both mornings (limiting me to beans and hash browns). Important to note that the hotel car park is not attached to the hotel, but it's only a couple of minutes walk.

Amazing welcome, lovely hotel. Paid for love package wasn’t worth the money all I got was fake petals and a box of chocolates for £15 nothing special. However the riverside view made up for that amazing views highly recommend. Room was lovely and spacious, found of lot of dust on the bathroom vent and on the back of the bed other than that everything else was prefect.

The Mercure Hotel is well situated for your stay in Liverpool. It is situated within easy walking distance to all the main attractions in Liverpool dockland area. The facilities are good and clean with an excellent breakfast and lovely staff who were very pleasant and helpful throughout our stay. Bathroom good, bath with shower above but a little on the small side but more than adequate for a short stay. Parking within a short walk of around 150-200 metres from the hotel entrance. This was our first stay in Liverpool and hopefully with more to come as three days was insufficient to do the city justice. Would certainly be happy to stay at the Mercure again and would recommend it to anyone as it was good value for money.

Location is good, breakfast is good specially when we had to order the cooked breakfast rather than self serve. Self serve breakfast was cold by the time you walked back to your table, warm plates would have helped. At the check in directions to parking was not clear, I was told "first left then first right" well the "the first right" is not a road it's a drive way that goes under a building. I couldn't find it so came back and unother member of the staff gave correct directions.

This was our 4th stay at this hotel and once again we were so grateful to have a room with a view and an added surprise was the little chocolate cake with welcome on the plate. The only thing with this stay was that 2 of the lifts were not in use so had to wait for quite a long time for the lift. We have already booked to stay again December.

Fabulous view from our room. The staff were very friendly. Lovely breakfast in the morning served 6-10 am and the hotel is in a prime location for shopping eating and sightseeing. We parked at Q park Liverpool 1 for 24 hours which was only 10 mins walk away. But there is a car park for the hotel round the corner if you find it more convenient. A most enjoyable stay lovely Christmas Market and beautiful light sculptures dotted around to put you in the festive mood.

Lovely stay at this hotel. Initially we were only staying for one night but because of an online offer decided to make it two nights. Dave in reception was accommodating as made sure we didn’t have to check out and back in. We had a stunning room overlooking the Albert Dock too. All staff were helpful and although there was a reduced menu as we had food included in our package we had money refunded because didn’t want what was on offer. All things considered would definitely recommend this hotel.

Only one out of three elevators work. Check-in is slow. I understood there is a big group checking in, but that does not justify keep inserting their issue before us and ignoring us completely. This reflects some problem in the management. If these do not bother you, and the price is decent, there are some pros: 1) no complain on the cleanness; 2) the bed is really big and comfy; 3) the shower is really nice, water pressure is pleasantly high
