DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL! IT IS NOT OPEN! OYO no longer own this hotel but well known websites are still letting you book! Even when we found out a day before travelling, booking.com didn't believe us that it wasn't open. But said if it wasn't they would re accommodate us for the same price! They did not. Leaving 14 people stranded in Liverpool OYO were no better saying that are reservation stood on their website and between booking.com and OYO someone was lying saying it was open when we stood outside with no way if entry. Some lady informed us it hasn't been open since pre COVID. Disgusting that this is allowed to happen.

The event we attended was overcrowded and apart from the relatively reasonable priced alcohol on sale and the appearance on stage of LFC ex players it was an afternoon that was very not very good. Apart from the bar service there was no food or snacks on sale. The on stage entertainment was pretty amateurish, all in all this was an event we would make sure to miss in future.

Would give zero stars if I could. Booked to stay here the night before my wedding. We booked it last year for Β£88 for this summer. Only to find out yesterday they’ve kicked us out and transferred us without reason to saint helens! Customer service basically ignored my questions as to why they had done this. Most likely kicked us out and sold the room for a higher rate. Cancelled the booking immediately because they thought it was acceptable to move me to saint helens. Will never stay here. Shocking service

We've turned up there today to find the hotel is not open. I'd planned a weekend away for my girlfriends birthday and it is now ruined as we couldn't find another hotel in the city centre, the closest hotel we could find was Runcorn. Booking. Com are a disgrace

Great staff and a great location. The place has character and the single room is excellent for solo travellers. At the moment the lobby does not look like as shown in the pictures so when arriving it can be alarming but don't worry. The room comes with amenities such as an electric kettle, tea and coffee as well as toiletries and towels. The size of the room is great - not too small, which is nice as it allows for one to easily move around and not bump into anything. There is also good storage and the windows are excellent sound barriers from the busy Renshaw street. Bathroom is also of good size and design which is a blessing as you won't be squeezing to get in and out of the shower or bumping into the toilet or sink. Bonus is that the reception is open 24 hrs as well as there being a bar/restaurant and entertainment venue attached to the hotel.

Such lovely venue and great selection of food. They also made me a salad to cater for my dietary requirements. Such a lovely afternoon out. Well worth a visit. They had very good deals on too.

Really cool place like how there so different nooks in this massive building. 3 floors of different bars and fast food. The area downstairs with the Domino game was fun. decoration is very different from the out side building. There is a gin bar, cocktail bar, and many more. Not very wheelchair accessible as there are no elevator or ramps to get from the entrance to the ground floor. super friendly staff and security guy was so nice he stored my kick bike for me and told me when my taxi was outside.

I stayed in hotel room not a very nice entrance as its full of smokers and the worst music you ever heard. Room was too small for me i expected and ordered a bigger room and never got it, i was ripped off. Staff were pleasant security on rooms good, rooms clean, breakfast huge and tasty however there was a need of cereals and juice as well as full English, irish whatever..great location

Absolutely fabulous night! Listening to the 'Song bird' Jamie Deary! Don't forget to try Home Slice vegan πŸ• they are absolutely amazing! This place is a hidden gem, live music and a great vibe! 😍Its a great place to be, chilled and for any age group! I'll definitely be bringing my kids here next as well as my girls time out! It's amazing food of all different varieties, that you can eat anywhere you want to sit, no matter what you decide! It's perfect for those picky friends, who can't decide between them! All bases covered! βœŒοΈπŸ™πŸ˜

Loved the quirkiness of this hotel. Great location for access to the city centre. Rooms are small but equipped with everything you need (hairdryer available from reception for Β£5 deposit). I didn't have an issue with noise on the night of the Liverpool Derby, with the hotel bar showing it on site, so I think some of the reviews on noise come from seriously light sleepers/those easily irritated. Target market is not luxury by any means, but if you're looking for something a bit different, worth a look!

So friendly and helpful, couldn't do enough for you. Felt like home away from home. Excellent food, great variety of cuisine. Rooms very small but served purpose and so reasonably priced

Great hotel in the centre of the city. The hotel has really nice staff - very helpful. Live music on the Sunday afternoon. Lovely building. The only downside was the rooms could have done with a make over, although they were very clean, they were a bit shabby in places. There were coffee stains in places on the wall and the toilet seat was loose. Overall, though the hotel was nice.

The building retains it's Victorian beauty and is a great place for a medium sized gig. Excellent atmosphere.

Amazing venue, very organised with the social distance Space gig we went to see.

Excellent but underused gig venue. Try and catch a candlelight concert if you can.

Went to candlelit jazz and it was stunning, so good to see live theatre again, it was well spaced and the staff were attentive. Sadly not enough people are motivated to get out

Went to see a performance, tricky to navigate your way around inside, lack of signage. Terribly uncomfortable seats upstairs
